A mysterious energy bolt is thrown at an enemy. It stuns for a random amount of time. Deals random damage based on the level of the skill.
Level 1 - Deals 1-200 damage and stuns, lasts 1-2 seconds.
Level 2 - Deals 50-225 damage and stuns, lasts 1-3 seconds.
Level 3 - Deals 75-250 damage and stuns, lasts 1-4 seconds.
Level 4 - Deals 100-275 damage and stuns, lasts 2-4 seconds.
• Damage type: magic
• Stun duration and damage appears above targeted unit's head (visible to allies and enemies).
• Casting range: 500
Mana Cost: 140
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Comment: This skill is very versatile and great. It can be found on 2 other heroes(Mortred and rikimaru). It has two main uses(and a mini-use); The first is to reach your enemy quickly to stage your attack. The second is to escape by blinking to a nearby non-mechanical ally(6.38 has mechanical siege weapons)
Teleports you, any images you have and the target unit to a random point along the line between the two of you. Gives you bonus attack damage for one attack.
Level 1 - Teleportation and 25 bonus attack damage
Level 2 - Teleportation and 50 bonus attack damage
Level 3 - Teleportation and 75 bonus attack damage
Level 4 - Teleportation and 100 bonus attack damage
• Teleports Chaos Knight to a random point on the line between the units (between 30% and 80% of the distance).
• Teleports the target unit to the same location as Chaos Knight, offset by 25 units towards Chaos Knight's original position.
• Any illusions of Chaos Knight owned by the same player as Chaos Knight within 1400 AoE are also teleported to Chaos Knight's new position.
• Chaos Knight and the target unit are made to face each other, and Chaos Knight and all teleported illusions are issued an attack order against the target unit.
• Bonus damage lasts for 1.2 seconds.
• Casting Range: 550/600/650/700
Mana Cost: 70
Cooldown: 24/18/12/6
Comment: This move, not changed to this: all levels deal from 1-200 damage, but on 1st level: 1-2 secs stun. 2nd Level: 1-3 secs stun. 3rd level : 1-4 seconds stun. 4th level : 2-4 seconds stun. Max this one out Asap, because nessaj takes about a sec casting his ultimate and needs to bind the enemy in place. On a general scale, whats a better tool to stop anyone but stun them???

Nessaj's mojo gives him a chance to deal bonus damage.
Level 1 - 11% chance to 1.5 times normal damage.
Level 2 - 11% chance to 2 times normal damage.
Level 3 - 11% chance to 2.5 times normal damage.
Level 4 - 11% chance to 3 times normal damage.
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: N/A
Comment: A great midgame skill, the reason i skipped this is that in the start your attack speed is too slow for this to proc a lot, but later on, this skill is devastating!

Summons several copies of the Chaos Knight from alternate dimensions. The illusions deal full damage, but take extra damage. Illusions last for 24 seconds.
Level 1 - Summons 1 Image, takes 200% normal damage.
Level 2 - Summons 2 Images, takes 200% normal damage.
Level 3 - Summons 3 Images, takes 200% normal damage.
• This ability removes most buffs from Nessaj.
Mana Cost: 125/ 200/ 275
Cooldown: 140 Seconds
Comment: ZOMGWTFBBQ! lets look at this ulti like this: 1st level : every hit is 2x critical. 2nd level : 3x critical. 3rd level : 4x critical! Need i say more? well yes i do, if you need any help on how images work, check out the forums... i'll just say that this one works exactly like the naga siren's mirror image. Other than that images are NOT affected by normal damage increment(divine reaper, etc) and only get their damage increased by primary status(heart/bracers)

Early Game:
Nessaj, in early game, acts as almost any other melee stunner in the game. As usual, should you face a ranged hero, you should expect heavy harassment, so try to stay away and get the last hit on creeps, and if not possible to move in, blink strike the creep.
There is a good tactic to use with nessaj, which i call, feint attack. Here is how it works: it works best against melee heroes, try to keep hitting enemy creeps in a way that makes you feel vulnerable, this could lure the enemy into attacking you. So you should try and anticipate when he will right-click you, when he does, move back a bit, if you see that your creeps are attacking him to defend you, quickly chaos bolt then blink strike to him and start wacking. if you have like 3 or more creeps attacking him, and your enemy is an agility or int hero, you may probably get a kill. You can start practicing this trick from level 2 :).
You should get those item early game

But in 3.38 you MUST GET ARCANE RING! ITS A MUST-HAVE ITEM FOR NESSAJ. PERIOD!
