Early Game:
GAME START:
- Purchase a Ring of Regeneration and/or consumables (lesser clarity potion/Ancient Tango of Essifation) Excess money can be used to buy Null Talisman or its components for more mana. no preferance in lanes, but opt for the top lane if Sentinel and bottom lane if Scourge.
LANE SCENARIOS:
- 1 melee enemy: Best scenario for you. Harass enemy with quillbeast. If they keep distance, it is easier to do last hits. Win-win situation.
- 1 ranged enemy: Slight disadvantage. Use quillbeast to harass the enemy or to get the last hit. If enemy has nukes and harasses you a lot, a lane switch may be a good option.
- 2 melee enemies: Okay scenario. harass them with quillboar and gel last hits. Try to deny to build a level gap.
- 2 ranged enemies: Request for assistance/lane switch. Very difficult to handle if the enemies are sensible(they will focus on you).
- 1 ranged, 1 melee: Harass the ranged hero with quillbeast. Try not getting the quillbeast killed. Request for assistance if needed.
FARMING:
- Use wild axes sparingly, make sure the hero and the whole wave is hit(killing 1 or 2 creeps). This is because you need to save mana for level 6.
- Use quillbeast to increase chances of getting the kill.
PUSHING:
- Do not push yet. Allow your opponents creeps to reach close to your tower. The opponent gets undeniable exp if the creeps get in their tower's range. Also provides safety that your tower is close, as well as keeps the enemy away from their tower.
KILLING:
- Possible, but not a priority. To kill, harass enemy with quillbeast and wild axes until around half of their health. Make sure you have enough mana for another wild axes. Continuously attack enemy with quillbeast to slow it, then move forward and aim wild axes so that both axes hit the enemy, then kill with regular attacks.
- When you have primal roar, primal roar a fleeing enemy, then wild axes to finish off.
FLEEING:
- Continuously attack enemy with quillbeast to gain a speed advantage. Stay close to the tower unless you are at critical health(1 spell/attack can kill you). Return to base if at critical health(leave quillbeast to farm.
PURCHASES:
- Build a Perseverance. Start with Ring of Health, then Void Stone.
- Buy a Boots of Speed on your first return to the fountain. Buy a Scroll of Town Portal as well, for emergencies.
INVENTORY:

- Inventory around level 7(may be easier/harder to get depending on lane scenario)
