The Bounty Hunter throws a shuriken at a target unit, dealing damage.
Level 1 - Deals 100 damage.
Level 2 - Deals 200 damage.
Level 3 - Deals 250 damage.
Level 4 - Deals 325 damage.
• Damage type: magical
• Posseses a mini-stun, allowing it to effectively interrupt the target.
• Casting range: 650
Mana Cost: 90/115/135/155
Cooldown: 10
Comment: Maxed out, this is a terribly effective nuke, even at early game. This also gives a 0.1 second mini stun to stop channeling spells. Shuriken Toss will be used to finish off your opponent when chasing them down.

Passively adds a critical strike and maim to Bounty Hunter's next attack, has a cooldown. Reduced movement and attack speed on target last for 3 seconds.
Level 1 - 1.4x critical multiplier, 25% movement and attack speed slow.
Level 2 - 1.6x critical multiplier, 25% movement and attack speed slow.
Level 3 - 1.8x critical multiplier, 25% movement and attack speed slow.
Level 4 - 2.0x critical multiplier, 25% movement and attack speed slow.
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: 15/12/9/6
Comment: Passive evasion and critical, perfect for a hero killer. This skill gives you the edge over other hero killers. When you get your attack speed items you would be surprised how often that 15% of critical triggers.

Turns invisible for a period of time. Deals bonus backstab damage. Transition time decreases per level.
Level 1 - 30 backstab damage, lasts 15 seconds.
Level 2 - 60 backstab damage, lasts 20 seconds.
Level 3 - 90 backstab damage, lasts 25 seconds.
Level 4 - 120 backstab damage, lasts 30 seconds.
• Damage type: physical
• Will not break most channeling of spells upon activation.
• Invisibility is broken when the damage is dealt, not at the beginning of the attack.
Mana Cost: 50
Cooldown: 15
Comment: This skill is slightly better then other wind walks as it gives 120 backstab damage plus your regular damage. Use this to start the assassination and to get away if your in danger. If you feel a Gank is imminent have no hesitation to use this skill, at all levels its only 50 mana.

Tracks an enemy hero for 30 seconds or until it dies. Allied units near the tracked target gain 20% movement speed increase. If the target dies, Bounty Hunter gets bonus gold.
Level 1 - 75 extra gold, reduces target's armor by 1.
Level 2 - 150 extra gold, reduces target's armor by 3.
Level 3 - 225 extra gold, reduces target's armor by 5.
• Bounty Hunter will get the bonus gold if the target dies while the spell is still active, regardless of how it dies.
• Allies withing the Track aura when the target dies will receive 50 bonus gold
• Track bonus gold is treated as reliable gold
• Gives True Sight of the target.
• Tracked targets have a visual effect above their heads that is only visible to Bounty Hunter's allies.
• Casting range: 750/950/1150
Mana Cost: 70/60/50
Cooldown: 10/7/5
Comment: Track lets you gain quite alot of extra gold, and 20% extra movement speed to catch your feeling prey while reducing there armor, making chasing a very easy thing for you. Also gives you sight of Invisible units (Wind Walkers, Shukuchi), this also extends to your allies, meaning no annoying escapes.

Early Game:
I consider Early Game levels 1-8
First off, here are some Pros and Cons of Gondar:
Pros:
-Skills perfect for hero killing
-Doesn't need many items early to be effective
-Has a great escape skill (Wind Walk)
-Decent nuke with 0.1 second mini stun
-Huge Agility gain (+3)
Cons:
-Slightly low Strength and Intelligence gain
-Low Hp (473 at Level 1)
-Needs a teammate sometimes to take down larger prey
In a regular 5v5 arem game.
These are the items like to get at the start of the game:
lets you stay in your lane, gaining gold and experience.
keeps your hp at a healthy level during early game.
gives you good mana regen and armor early, upgrade to Vladmir's Offering.
Once you have all these items, your Inventory should look like this:
![]() | ![]() | |||
![]() | ||||
Click the Animal Courier to free it from your Inventory.
Then choose a lane.
I prefer 1 of the side lanes, simply because you might get nuked lots in middle lane,
I like to have an Ally with me aswell, preferably with a stun so i can get a very early kill,
you can solo, its your choice.
Block the creeps by starting in front of them,
because you don't have Boots of Speed, the creeps with hit your back
and double up over each other, pulling the enemy creeps closer to your tower,
which means easy experience early.
The main focuses of early game are:
-Deny and Last hit creeps
-Don't let your opponents push too far
-Gain Gold and Experience.
-Don't let you opponents send you back to base.
-Don't die, because it can wreck your middle game.
-Get a kill hopefully.
Half of the things on that list are relatively easy to do.
When your not defending your tower,
farm as much as possible to have a strong middle game.
Neutraling is a bit hard at this point
as your Nuke isn't very spammable. (Shuriken Toss)
Killing early game revolves around the first 2 skills you have been getting:

At level 8 the damage of the combined is:
Normal Attack Damage = 66-80
Backstab Damage = 120
Shuriken Toss Damage = 325
These combined, not taking into consideration spell reduction or armor is:
Between 511-525 Damage. Pretty decent hey?
This calculation is without any items aswell.
Even at level 4 or 5 this combo can mean some kills.
Heres how to get a quick kill early game:
(I have kept all names out of Screenshots as not to embarass anyone)
Rhasta and Sven have Shackled and Storm Bolted my Ally Morphling.
I start running over to help, my target is going to be Rhasta because hes on a third hp and
alot easier to kill then Sven.

I use the skill Wind Walk so i get the backstab damage from it, making the success rate of my kill much higher.

As my Ally Morphling dies, you can see just next to him on the left the 90!,
thats the backstab damage damage, also revealing me, Rhasta's health is very low now.
Rhasta then turns to flee, as he does i use Shuriken Toss which you can see just behind him.

As you can see, he's very flat and dead.

Use this combo all through early game to get some kills under your belt.
Getting cheap kills like this early can make your Middle game alot easier with the help
of some great items and Allies.
Early game though i suggest easy prey such as Low hp Intelligence and Agility Heroes.
And not heroes that have good escape abilities such as Blink or Wind Walker, as you don't have Track yet.
Sometimes it's good just to attack with Wind Walk, then Wind Walk again,
attack and Shuriken Toss for the kill, this will kill most Agility and Intelligence early game.
You can take on Larger Prey, in other words
enemies with Large Hp early or Armor, but you will need the help of an Ally or 2.
These Include:

So for early game the game plan is:

In this order, don't use Shuriken Toss first, use it only as a Finisher or to stop
a Channeling Spell.
Here are some Channeling Spells that 0.1 second stun stops:

It Interrupts these Channeling Spells, but they will be able to cast again:

It also stops these Channeling Items:

This mini stun can save an Ally, You or your whole team from massive damage,
or stop a potential kill from getting away.
By the end of Early Game you should have a few kills and an Inventory like this:
![]() | ![]() | |||
![]() | ||||
Or if your farming really well, you should have started Sange and Yasha.
![]() | ![]() | |||
![]() | ![]() | |||
I like to get Yasha first because it gives you more movement speed and attack speed,
But if you think you really need the Hp go Sange.
With Vladmir's Offering, you can start to farm neutrals pretty effectively, even the big ones.
This Concludes Early Game.
