Uhhmm.. Getting Blind skill is useful, when you're facing Silencer in a lane, it'll be very useful, when he casts CotS on you, you can then cast Blind, neat trick? What if you didnt learn that skill? Ooohh.. CotS hurts bad.

Oh no! A Hyperstone! It's not really *that* useful for Troll Warlord since he already has a Butterfly. Replace it with MKB instead. *shrug* Also, I like using Boots of Travel instead of Power Treads. His MS is too slow.

MKB + Bashers = Bad Idea Yuki. Replace the Hyperstone w/ a Mjollnir. And one basher is enough IMO.

Troll warlord is a very straightforward hero. I attack fast, basically. Melee warlord wouldn't need 2 bashers(innate bash is good enough since it's for 2 seconds) Take this time to push SnY earlier. Or you can go farmer and build maelstrom first. He doesn't need much more attack speed than he needs damage(since rampage provides more than 2 hyperstone's worth). Invest the money on damage or survival. Give tips, like what kind of hero to hunt, or jah'rakal's part in a team clash. Nice first try. Learn from this one.

Troll Warlord is one of my favourites... but I don't really use him as a melee hero at all. Boots of Travel, Hyperstone, Butterfly, Sange and Yasha, Eye of Skadi and Monkey King Bar should be enough for godlike hero killing without even considering bash. Of course, you must be a farming GOD as well (like me :P)

bashers are really boring & you'll be weak if you're in combat w/ 2 heroes.. i use headdress & ring of basilius for protection then farm for skadi right away.. this way, you'll be much stronger & harder.. going for 2 ultimate orbs first.. after getting skadi, you can play around w/ your items.. i'm a risky player, so i go for divine even w/o aegis.. depends on my enemies though.. if there are few stunners, then go for it.. but if you're low in cash, try out radiance so you can farm much better..

i reckon there should be more good allies and bad enemies

and more bad because allthough thios strat helped me alot, i was a bit scared of some heroes near the start. but then i realised you baslically rape all with this build. thanks jake! u n33b

@fl_mariah Yeah I suppose Satanic could be a pretty good item for troll, but that would get rid of an Orb Effect so no S&Y if you get a satanic....

I hate S&Y to jahrakhal, i think mjollnir is better against soft heroes or a desolator against STR heroes... Just a suggestion...

No crit won't override bash. No you can keep whichever mode you want on for as long as you want. (Range or Melee)

Yes I agree but satanic and mjollnir are super expensive "luxury" items. Treads Twin Bashers and Bfly is not too hard to acquire.

Maybe getting maelstorm is another option for him if using range.

I tried Mjollnir for him again, This time in a 2v2....Got beyond godlike. I stayed range untill about level 14 when I had maxed beserker rage. But sometimes when I chased I turned on range.

ei nice strat but y not buy lothar and then buy 2 bashers and 1 buriza.Make sure u have stunner allies for support. First let ur ally stun ur enemies and then sneak up for a quick attack(be sure to activate ur melee skill and rampage). u can also add vladmir for lifesteal(in case theres a naix). That's a nice idea, one that I haven't tried out. But with the vlads offering you will have to be melee all the time.

My biggest problem with the Troll is farming. With Maelstrom (Mjollnir if u can afford it after bashers), those problems go away, and it's cheap too!

Vlads offering and Helm of Dom. for me, is useful for creeping (especially those bigger creeps). But I usually prefer Vlads for addede mana generation (if im not mistaken 80% added mana generation, so u wont have to go to back to the fountain anymore.) managing Troll's skill is all about timing. in case the enemy runs, u jst deactivate the melee skill and if the enemy still isnt dead and is running, use ur lothar for added speed. Usually in my case, the enemies were just too shy to move or run when i already get hold of them or whats the term? BASH EM!!!

i normally go with a mask of madness before i get the 2 bashers becuase you can then rampage alot with lifesteal plus apsd... but MoM doesnt stack with ulti so maybe not?

What about getting a MoM? then you can have +how much asp all the time. Any way, troll kind of sux, only good 1v1 so only good if you play public against nuubs who let you farm like hell, then he will become imba late game

Yeah that's why I don't Like MoM with him. Firstly it doesn't stack with ulti and secondly ur ulti has a nice cool down.

it is really effective the reampage maximizes the aspd meaning the enemy cant really move because of the basher along w/ its superfast aspd nice work wahahahaha ang sarap patumabahina ng mga kalaban d nakakagalaw

When you look at the item order I'm not sure if you want to go for Buriza or S&Y first.
Need some help on this one.
Also some people suggests Mjollnir.
It gives you +70 dmg with 20% of 200 dmg chain lightning and 200 dmg in return.

Nearly how I play, but I prefer to get one level of Melee early for the speed bonus it gives. I also see no need for the S/y and the hyperstone at the end; too late in game for those to be much help. I also prefer boots of travel, but thats just me; troll seems to have enough attack speed as it is :P

Note: there is also the trick to get ranged permabash, 15% bashers in ranged mode. Try it--ranged permabash is godly.

i played this hero on 6.42...i tried the assault cuirass on him with satanic, 2 bashers and powerthreads...he rocked!!! bradwarden with satanic and HOT is no match on him!!!

Good strat but i would get SnY 1st other then the 2 bashers 1st. Also hyperstone is not needed because of the fact that u have the special and the Butterfly.

I agree, lifesteal is a must for him early game, to prevent having to go back and forth between lane and fountain. I usually go for helm of dominator or mask of madness rather than vladimirs, but whatever the situation warrants.

Good stragety but if you want a hero kill at lvl 6 you should get Beserkers Rage and use melee form + rampage. I alos get boots then go for two bashers then a BoT. Bashers stack with the Beserkers Rage and helps with perm stun. Then later instead of butterfly I get deso for easy kills. Perm stun + -armor = pwnage. :]

Troll warlord, is the ultimate permabasher, I once saw on YouTube a Troll Warlord fight off a gank by Naix and another hero(I forgot), both with bashers!

As usual double bashers. Very common build. Everyone I know always put 2 bashers for Troll where in fact, you can still go beyond godlike without bashers and by just relying on his bash skill. Imagine 2 bashers is already equivalent to 1 assault cuirass which is a hell of big a gun. 2 bashers = 6440 gold. Assault = 6470 gold. (Sigh!!). Anyway Nice build and nice strat. Keep it up dude!!

i get lifesteal before the bashers..life steal is important...if you will get mask of madness and at least one basher..u will be a lot stronger even ur enemy is a tank..get the hyperstone after the two bashers..i dont get buriza..

Troll Warlord is the best by test the most attack speed in the game and the best bash along with the imba blind (42%) good at start among the best mid and the second after the mighty Chaos knight at late.

better sange and yasha than hyperstone and better still satanic among the worst enemy's o his is viper at start and balanar mid

This is a nice guide; however, I feel that at least one skill of blind should be switched with Berserker Rage (ie Lvl 7 or 8) if you have harassers. The slight boost in armor and movespeed goes a long way in keeping you alive.

i even defeated 2 insane in 6.43ai plus with my troll the combo is very easy first blind the agi type then activate melee and ulti then kill the strenght or the int type then proceed to the agility .The agility wont damage you becuz of the blind

Mask of Madness owns with this hero early. Not sure if it stacks with his ult, but even if it doesnt, it effectively cuts his cult cd in half. For late game, the extra leech and hp from satanic is brutal. The satanic buff is also very strong considering his atsp

Getting blind is optional..it depends in who your enemiy is.if its an int type dont get it..but if your facing enemies like mortred,naix,nevermore get this.

Bad build. 2 Bashers with no other attack speed items are stupid. Threads are very stupid. For troll you get travels becuz ur a chasing hero. You get a deso becuz u wanna penetrate armor and do dmg. You want a butterfly becuz u want the speed and evasion. Finally get an mkb and a vlads becuz it stacks with your normal bash and lfiesteal is always nice on hero killers.

This is not a really good strat to tell you the truth by the time you farmed for 2 bashers and treades you already got 2 or more deaths from intel heroes or ganks, most of thte time you farm for your 2 basher at lvs10-16
My build for this guy is to get lifesteal first thing then with like a helm of dominator because it is cheaper then MoM by a bit and you dominate a creep with a stun then gank every1, i dont't believe this guy needs bashers just get him damage and lifesteal and take on any1 late game 1 on1 or 2 on1 and you will win.

Buying Basher for Troll is a no no, because he aready have the nash ability.

Your item build is a little bit expensive for pro games(for just below pro games no problem;like all item builds in the forum). I recommend following for pro games:

1-Power treads (AGI)-Attack&Movement speed
2-Mask of Madness-Attack speed and life steal, low gold & mana cost
3-Vanguard-more HP pump
4-Basher-Your must item for team strategy
5-Basher
6-Hyperstone(Upgrade to Assault Cuirass at beyond-late game if occurs)

use a mjollnir and 2 basher and SnY buriza
HoT and Ptreads

use a 2 cranium basher and mjoillnir

Hi guys. Does Troll's Berserker Bash stack with Cranium or if doesn't what is the chance to Bash with 4 Bashers when Berserker's active? I asked this beacause, a friend of mine played with troll and he said when Berserker's active with 4 bashers the enemy got out of bash but without Berserker's enemy couldn't escape from Bash. Is this only luck or there is an other explanation?

I think i would try to get the Satanic instead of the Hyperstone, since i almost everytime find Jah'rakal with low hp in endgame its really nice to Permstun + lifestealing, this really helps 2on1 situations too since u can regen more hp than u lose of the enemy that u arent permastunning! :D

Hi guys. Does Troll's Berserker Bash stack with Cranium or if doesn't what is the chance to Bash with 4 Bashers when Berserker's active? I asked this beacause, a friend of mine played with troll and he said when Berserker's active with 4 bashers the enemy got out of bash but without Berserker's enemy couldn't escape from Bash. Is this only luck or there is an other explanation?

Butterfly OK, but Buriza NO WAY!!!!. You can better spend your momey to more speed, more bash or to a Lothar's Edge.

ok. good guide, stun lock is this heros base, gd strategy and skill build.. items. S&Y... no. i spose the maim is useful but id go for radiance for imba farming, and as melee late game and stun lock the aoe is so useful. plus with incredible attack speed as it is u may as well utilise the extra dmg. either that or a mkb just to rub it in

satanic first is much better then butter n mkb then buriza and maybe bkb for fighting a team of stunners

My build is usually:
Powerthreads (AGI)
Basher
Mask of Madness: lifesteal + frenzy
Basher
Butterfly
Hyperstone (Upgrade to assault cuirass if time and money is for it)

Then u can take everyone: Rampage, rampage ended, then frenzy = GG

I get powertreads

I say treads, 2 bashers, satanic, butterfly and HoT. Aspd will be enough with the butterfly to permabash. This hero needs survival so I say you will need satanic and HoT.

i used this build and i had 17-5 beyond godlike thx :P

i say S&Y is good but i would suggest gettin a satanic because it works somehow like Rampage and it does stack with each other giving more crazy attacks

with that items u cant farm well and 2 bashers are more as newblike..

my items are:
boots of speed/2tango
(no need ror,wasted 375gold)

take a edge lane, to buy a mask of death if 900gold recieved and then a helm of iron will -> helm of dominator w/o reciepe what is definitely a must have to farm well and stay long time in your lane.. duh they pimped stats..
it gives 15% ll +20dmg and 5armor wich is godlike.. the dominate skill is also nice if used well

i.e. u get chased and u dominate a centaur and then u take him and bash the enemys while running town with low hp.. takes a lot of train duh micro gaming is all ^_^
if back in town u should have mention to select +10 str on pts since it gives u 200 life wich is perfect..
I would buy 2 bracers then and go gank heros ..they give u incredible survivability.. if u dont gank farm a bit, works well. also I dont recomment skilling IAS Aura early game..it doesnt help at all if your creeps kill faster

cuz its better if they dont reach the other tower.. this should be end of early game.. pts hod 2 bracer...since I dont talk about public games (tho troll warlod aint a good teamplayer, expect blind wich gives u huge advantage.. 50% of enemy attacks will miss.. dont underestimate it.. u should go for a butterfly now..its godlike on troll. 30% chance to avoid a enemy hit + 42% chance that enemy miss hit .. could it be better? ..sny is bad.. it doesnt help at all..crap dmg,~250+life boost and

its a orb effect.. u dont need the maim anyway. w/o lifeleech u cant farm well and u need ot run to town to often to make sure u lvl fast enough. once u made bfly u should go for a buri and aegis replace with bracer.. the last slot is individuel based on your opponent (tho this will not often happen in private games, due to no easy mod, good creep deny, very strong gangs (troll is weak teamplayer/early game hero)
u should go for:
hot = life boost/regen
hod = many magical
mkb = beyond god

bashers are useless.. 3str 30dmg and 15% chance for 1.1 stun...for 6500 gold? O_o
ask any pro troll player or read any premium guide u'll never find a basher..
hyperstone is useless since your dmg aint equal to it.. u've enough and more balanced to it anyway late game.. (mkb,stats,bfly,fervor,rampage)

eh forgott add the last slot which should be definitely keept open for atleast 2 townportals everytime , cuz nothing is more imbalanced as a berserk rampage activated troll who tele if someone going to kill tower , can be replaced late game with sth

I WOULD USE SOME LIFESTEAL LIKE VLAD'S BECAUSE IN A HEAVY SITUATION (GETTING GANKED) YOU JUST ACTIVATE YOUR ULTI AND U SEE UR LIFE REGENERATE FASTER THAN FOUNTAINS REGENERATION.. SO THINK ABOUT IT.. ME PERSONALLY DONT LIKE WARLORD I JUST DIED MANY TIMES FROM HIM AND I GIVING AN BONUS IDEA SO I KEEP DIE.. xD

Mjollnir is good..get this as early as you can..farming will be alot easier..i tried it and it can also kill with last touches..

I do believe that satanic/MoM would be great for him.. my build for is somewhat like darkterror's but i prefer satanic over MoM for troll since he already has insane attack speed.. so bash then steal the life!

a trol lwarlord without lifesteal is a joke,wyou should augment your hp somehow,get a HoT,and get a vlad to have any chance of survival.

nice. although, i'd get satanic rather than SnY. and i use one basher and BkB. its good against Sand king. you just have to time it right. and be careful with blade mails. i dont get hyperstone that much since i play with my friend and he uses sand king and i found that satanic and blood stone can help you hold your ground, bkb against that f*@$%# stun and epi.and i use battle fury for farming,i fund it easier to use this. i haven't mastered jah'rakal yet im experamenting with diff builds.

replace a basher with desolator with rampage desolator will beat the shit out of ur enemies and will stiil bash

very good itms 9/10. but do you think that a very very very good item for troll is SATANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!with so much aspd your life wold be vary dificult to fall!!!so change hyperstone with that and buriza with MKB becase you want aspd as i understand....but generally i like your built!!

I include MoM in my build, once had a team clash midgame and after my ulti ended, just activated MoM and just continued slaughtering. Also lifesteal keeps you going forever and works ranged as wel. I dont understand why people find it hard to farm?

Here's what I think. Swap threads with BoT. Rid the hyperstone for either a HoT or another butterfly. Sell 1 basher for a satanic. There's a huge importance in getting lifesteal for troll warlord. And together with rampage, the chance to bash will come often. so 2 bashers isn't exactly needed

ya u guyz can replace 1 basher with a hot, cuz in all the items he has no hp items to boost his hp, n as many ppl r saying they wont buy s&y,u might as well go for hot or satanic,by removing 1 basher as with ur fervor aura n ur ulti, getting bashes wont be a problem at all, then y waste 3.2k for another basher???

Get Butterfly before Buriza 60% atk speed, 60 dmg and 30% evasion>20% crit and 75 dmg for troll. Also, get Vlads offering or Helm of the Dom. If they manage to hit you you will steal it back in 1 second

manta is for joking enemy heroes..
lothars is for backstabbing with his skill RAMPAGE. if the hero is busy attacking the illusion. use wind walk and get behind the hero, activate the rampage skill and attack the enemy target hero. that's it. the target hero cannot escape. ^^..

i disagree with not includin ANY lifesteal but i totally agree tih twin bashers and critical.

problem with this build is getting owned cause of your HP status

get bfly before getting a basher.. the bash in melee form will be a perma bash if there is fast atk spd

May sound strange, but to take out those stunners replacing that hyperstone with a blink dagger is always an option. Haven't tested but it works in theory :D Good guide

lol, satanic is very impt to survive ganks. then basher, pt, twin butterfly and probably buriza. permabash only.

i rather get satanic and the other stuff.....because his hp is too low he needs to lifesteal......he can take out three heroes alone and move out the scene full hp !!! trust me
