Vengeful The Swapper Killer

You can add Butterfly, its a very effective item for venge. Increased attack speed + desolator + terror + command aura + teammates especially Sven = FTW!!!! I really like playing with Sven when i'm playing Venge. He is really my best friend.

i tink u shud gt power treads 1st... n u actually cn kill heroes at lvl 6... as long as u hve an ally, jus wait till dey gt near ur bunker, then swap n let ur hero do most dmg... finally use M.canon?

trust me aura is not that useless in early game. i really cant understand ppl who does that. one more SUGGESTION about ur skill build is that dont get terror until lvl 21.

yeah i know that the butterfly is a nice item,.. if i can farm well i will buy butterfly too... but for me this items are enough to win...
@ shanethekiller - whats the purpose of buying desolator if i'm gonna put my terror skill in lvl 21 and terror is also nice for escaping hero's while running you can use terror then stun your enemy...and i think command aura is much useful than stats..

I reckon you've thought out the team guide pretty well, but the items MIGHT use some work. I never like buying pure damage until I'm already winning, I usually get S&Y with this. MoM is sweet too, regardless of the orbs.
Skills are kinda wrong, Terror is not too useful for most players, Missile is best maxed early... Command Aura is OK to be maxed immediately after unless you can't play well, in which case get stats on lvl2/4 and then start it at lvl8.
I insist that you can do hero killing on very low levels, particularly with no hp guys - stun, whack whack whack, flee, stun, whack, dead. Its not fun, for them anyway.

u nid more hp like sny and eye. after that one butterfly... buriza and mkb if have time...
perserverence is a noob build... try harder and think about it... if u are good.. u dun have to worry bout any hero being ur 'worst enemy'... and if u are good... anione can b good allies and a good team...

@ blazer - so why dont you made your own guide if you think my guide sucks... well i've try my guide with terror and desolator and it's really helpful even if i have low life i just used my terror then stun my enemy then hit him...
and if you nid hp items why buy perseverance to regen fast,, in buying EOS it will take you a long time to complete that and you can also upgrade perseverance to linken it also adds hp...

Although 1 thing,u can kill hero at lvl 6.Remain behind our tower,enem comes swap.Tower hits hard at those levels.Whack whack.As soon as he comes back Stun and kill!!

This is great strategy. But skill build needs a little change. I don't prefer getting command aura early cuz not very much damage will be add to ya or ur mates. Good job item build. How about adding MoM??? Keep up good work.

good item build but i don't like the skil build much, if you want a swapper killer you may want to save command aura last since, damage aint to high early game, about 50-60? try to use a similar build with sven , magic missile then stats or magic missile terror reasons are command aura doesnt give to much bonus early, taking stat bonuses really boost you up since +hp+mana and +damage early game is what venge needs, take command aura mid game lvl 10+ and terror after command,

terror is a useless skill...u pump stats is more useful pls...

This char's good if you can harnest its truest potential. It's an ezy killer if you have a blinker (or some sorta teleporter ie. leap) on ur team. In the left and right lane, there's craters when only blinkers can enter. Get the blinker to enter it, swap with the blinker n then w8 until an enemy comes (one that wont b able 2 exit the well) n swap wif em. Since ur long range atk atk n more atk.

all ur skills r commented nice.. btw i dont think Terror and the desolators corruption stack... i dunno

nyc....but i prefer skadi than linkens...after terror + magic missle attack attack(w/ skadi alredy)...if ur enemy runs skadi will make him slower then use ur swap....booom!!! ur enemy find himself back to square 1

Actually, this is a hero that can kill using only hits... It may be good when your final items will be Power Treads, Stygian Desolator, The Butterfly, Aegis of the Immortal, Divine Rapier and the last one may be a Teleport scroll or another Aegis if there is no more charges on your first aegis, or the Buriza... It depends on the situation of the game, actually... Nice tips on killing though... I'm also a noob... hehe

a ohter nice hero to go with is rhasta, he puts his wards around you and then you swap. IMBA.

we play vengeful differently, you might want to try...
1.mm 2.stat 3.mm. 4.stat 5.mm. 6.swap 7.mm 8-10. stat 11. swap and so forth next is command aura
you see, 36% additional damage of nothing is nothing so you might as well increase your life and mana, you get more magic missile and you get harder to kill. especially for pro enemies, i get up to 3 bracers even.
on 5v5 matches, you might want to add lothar's edge so after swap stun then lothar's, because tendency is you'll die after swap. i try to build it as early as i can.

part carry part support. I have to try this some time new one:D

i think you can replace bracer with wraith band. it gives agi. but bracer helps with hp. wraith band will give you some damage.

The item is good, it really have a good attack and attack speed, but notice your life im sure if enemies are out for a kill you will be the priority because of your life.(only my opinion anyway)

decent build, but i'd go with 3 mana pot, 4 tango, and a couple of branch for starter...just spam magic misile level 3, refill with mana pot, and u can kill at early level..around level 5-7..when u get level 4 misile, hunt for heroes..

i play this guy with all the auras i can get my hands on: ring of basilius, vladimir's offering and then hyperstone to assault cuirass. note that none of these items are pure dmg items... it's all about being a team player. then just group up with your teammates and go ganking... your 4 auras and swap will be a big benefit. play this hero like it's meant to be played - a support hero :)

command aura in early game? uhmm...?? imagine if you will prioritize stats then command aura later.. what would be more favorable?? utilize that 36% damage by adding stats first..

IMO, command aura is better than stats and i get SNY rather than stygian, for fast and furious attacks and i also get butterfly coz command aura only increases base damage and bonus damage from stat boosting items.

stygan is good, like the idea with crixalis, dont like treads, travels are better late game

U missed out one very important thing!!!!
The vs swap trick. theres a montain on the top lane. get a blinker to blink there n u swap with him. And.... Just wait for your opponent! swap him n he's a goner! He'll be stuck there forever. (if no town portal scroll, dagger or boots of travel) Try it... if it works than ull be getting rid of one hero! =)

A running rhasta from the scougre runs back his tower i was stunned by roshan then swapped him then ran back to the fountain laughing cuz he died

terror+command aura is only useful for 3v3, to create a VS for pushing. spam terror = army of creeps. More players, and you usually cant build up an army so i go for swapper killer build.

just one thing to drop. generally i dont like command aura early because it imbalances your creep waves and you push further away from the safety of your own tower. i, instead choose stats early as the hp and mana bonuses help you spam that oh so important nuke, as well as give you some survivability early game.

It's a 3 vs. 3 game. In my team(Sentinel), were Vengeful Spirit, Abaddon, Sven, Omniknight and Silencer and on the other hand(Scourge), they were Ezalor, Lion, Kardel, Traxex and Zeus. They were outmatched when Vengeful and Sven went the same lane(Mid Lane) and our heroes we encountered were Ezalor and Zeus. I got the first blood against Ezalor. After Sven & I(Vengeful) stunned him(Ezalor), I swapped him near our tower and we attacked him and luckily I got the First Blood.

I bought your items you recommended(P. Treads, Linken, Deso, Buriza) and I added it with Lothar's Edge and Butterfly.

We won the game over the Scourge.

y get stats first instead of command aura and terror? stats increases ur hp and mana whch u need it badly esp in early game.

pretty good strat. Just to all those people who say that terror is useless, none of you even recognize the signifance of -6 armor and 20% dmg reduction. noobs. 20% reduction is on the total accumulated dmg, meaning if you had a dmg of say, 150, you're reduced to 120. you just lost 30 dmg and now you're getting hit alot harder due to -6 armor. Reduction of armor is huge, why do you think Slardar's ult is armor reduction and even cuirass aura is -armor. Nubs, you dont know what you're talking about.

i just tested ur item build on an insane bot in 6.43b AI+1.4. . was fighting demon witch and tried assault cuirass . . the armor reduction stacked to a -16 . . quite nice dmg ^O^

ive been playing vs a few weeks now - she is pretty good no matter item build u do... personally my fav item build is to rush the butterfly... 1/4staff early game with BoS is pretty heavy imo.. once i got tha butterfly (usually mid-game phase) like to tank her up a bit with the hart if im farming well also BoT makes her awsum for sneak attacks for low-hp enemies...
i love the p-serve idea - lol didnt think of that - but yeah ty for tips

i think a guinsoo would work on vengeful. ^_^ seriously... i think replace the buriza with guinsoo. you can be a better killer/support hero that way.

Blood Seeker is an awesome ally too. Rupture + nether swap = 720 dmg

Yo Ricky! nice guide man considering it's your first, heres a couple of things to add in my opiuon. First get treds first, and also make sure you get more agility instead of damage. Vs is a good damage dealer but she needs fast attack speed and since shes agility every agility point adds on point to her damage.

USING 2 ULTI?? for just one enemy? maybe swap stun and burrow strike, but with EPCINTER? a waste of skill and mana..

this guide is just ok. you fail to tell about ESCAPING by using netherswap, if they chase u behind towers, or anywhere, swap to confuse them and run the opposite direction. Also, have magina blink to the spot wher eno one can get out of, then swap him, then swap enemy hero. As long as they dont have blink (or like 100 tangoes) they will be stuck there and leave the game within 30 seconds. (DONT KILL THEM WHEN THEY ARE STUCK)

hm i like the straat but i prefer getting a bracer and 2 tangoes + a mana potion first.. also dont get command aura so fast.. like you said vengy is fragile in the begin so get some stats or 2 for hp

oh and yes swap is great for escaping or getting enemy heroes out of trouble.. i was low health and chased by rikimaru i swapped him in time and run thought the forests survived cause the swap confused him

The only item here that is good for venge is deso, linkin, threads, and buriza are stupid for venge. The point of venge is to ult and escape. Getting a lothars, deso, butterfly, mkb, heart would make more sense. TRAVELS ARE A MUST FOR VENGE SINCE SHE HAS TO BE FAST WITH HER SWAPS AND ESCAPES

That's the dumbest build for venge I've ever heard. The build in this stategy is great, but i would add Butterfly (actually I think this is a must). If you have many gold left, u can buy monkey king bar. So my "dream build" would be like this:

Power Treads, Stygian, Buriza, Butterfly, Linkens, Monkey King Bar

Juz great, no consumable, no regen.

Perseverence early game it quite useless for vs. You will only get the hp regen, and mana regen and little damage for 1775. I prefer some bracers, or some wraiths for vs to boost the hp, damage, and importantly, max mana pool to spam
magic missiles and swaps.

And for the linken, it's almost the same description as perseverence. The mana regen is useless! While at higher level, the mana pool won't be drained that easily, and I'd prefer HoT than Linken.

Also, when facing harasser early game, it'd be better to take attribute +, and take command aura @ lv 12-15. Moreover, the aura early game won't do much, since Vs' damage is soo small, and the aura increase the damage by %.

err.....not bad, but not ownage, if you wanna own, just get 3 wraiths, treads, deso and a hyperstoen, its gg, you dont have to worry about health cause you have stun and you can kill anyone before they can kill you. also if thegame drags, battle cuirass is awesome, that + terror + deso = no armor, its also a aoe item so it effects all heroes around you.

you forgot strygwyr like her good ally ; swaping ruptured hero(who is usually not moving unit) will make him move and take good amount of damage. the strategy is good though ;D

I think this hero is great at hero killing early in the game, just go with another hero who can stun and the double stun will get a first blood really early in the game.

I don't like buriza for venge! I'll just save my money for butterfly

hmm... Stygian hsa it's uses. But well... Terror isn't exactly very useful... I prefer to go for a butterfly earlier since it has more benefits. And I like stats earlier. Not terror. Butterfly = Damage, attack speed and armour. Stygian= silly damage and - armour. It's not a very useful orb ability for silkwood. Try a skadi. But I'll go for Buriza right after butterfly and a skadi if I can make it. MoM works good too. But kinda useless after you get butterfly

I dont use terror nor stygian desolator. hehe. waste of mana or gold. if my enemy is a str hero, i usually go for 2 vanguards or an assault cuirass. Together with Butterfly, MKB and Linken, this hero is UNBEATABLE! Man she's GODLIKE! Str and melee heroes run from her. Chrixalis, beastmaster, axe and other strong str heroes pawned!

i think its better going for skady. gets life for swap, frost for no escape(no need for swap to kill, if planned) and stats. for me in d early game i prioritize mana so talismans are better than bracers and about HP don't think its a problem becus i've thought of number of ways not to lose half of the damage u inflincted on the enemy esp 1on1 in a lane. anyway its an ok guide

good work for me it is necessary to make butterfly first cause of the miss to avoid the damage and take damage which will be much with the skill cammand aura .Second item must be orb either skadi if playing good and having money or desolator .Then MkB and Kanyon and heart for hp.

i think enigma is one good partner with venge because of black hole enignma is will use his last skill then infront on him is venge in theddle of black hole then swap

The way I usually play Vengeful Spirit is with Drow Ranger. Really, the combined auras allow for really fast double, triple and, later on, quadruple damage. With just simple attacking from both Heroes, any foe would die withing seconds. Along comes Magic Missile and Nether Swap... voila!

I also like to keep Magic Missile at level 1 since leveling it will raise the mana cost.

Anyways, nice simple guide.

Aura early makes you push too fast... and the tower just pwns your creeps... and your enemy will get a lot of exp.

its easy to kill VS at early game..especially with heavy nukers like demon witch..?impale and finger of death on a 3/4 hp VS would finish her off i think.

azuredota, it's even easier to kill Lion (infact, any early game intel) simply by swapping with them when you're at ur own tower. as the tower starts hitting him, just stun and start whacking away. Use another stun if needed. This works very well even with lvl 3 magic missile
