Ulfsaar in my dream

Just a reminder, Sange and Yasha is an orb effect, as well as Fury Swipes. and fury swipes are overridden by Sange's maim. Criticals and bash effects from items also cancels fury swipes cumulative damage when they trigger. Monkey king bar also cancels it(if I remeber right, can anyone confirm?)

this is an ok strat but as fox said the orbs will overide each other etc. the idea of a blink dagger is a good one but it will lose its effect a bit later.

I like the strategy, though I haven't tried it out yet. Traditionally ulfsaar's item is lothar's edge, but I think the blink dagger will work better. Good item build.

What about kills early game? You talk about soloing another melee hero, but fail to talk about kills. Whenever I'm lucky enough to solo a melee hero with ulfsaar, I try to hide in the forest, then pin the enemy between myself and my tower for a kill at level 3 or level 5.

Umm.. Battlefury doesn't work on Ulfsaar.

Battle fury isn't an orb, but another weird thing about Ulfsaar is that he is actually ranged. Battle fury's cleave doesn't work with ranged units.doesn't work with ranged units.

Blink dagger for ursa is interesting. Overall I think this strat is not too bad. However I prefer your second set of final items as opposed to your first set. Having two sub-optimal items (bf and s&y) is not good at all. @ quickbrownfox - I don't think mkb cancels fury swipes' cumulative damage, I think it just stops the fury swipes for the attack when the bonus damage occurs.

Strategy Rank: MEGA KILL. Orb effect dosent stack, so I would take battle fury out of the item build. The attack would be much more useful if you can actually backstab the target instead of letting it see you first. One thing that I seriously disagree with is the fact that you get two Hearts.

Your computation for Fury Swipes' damage is incorrect. Enrage doesn't use mana. Battle Fury's cleave doesn't work on him, so you're better off with Linken's Sphere. When MKB's bonus damage triggers, it resets Fury Swipes' cumulative damage. Fury Swipes should be maxed out first, as it helps in last-hitting.

Yeah, Sange and Yasha will not be a good item bcoz of fury swipes... And also, this guide is really a dream, I mean, can you rally farm for those items? 2 HoT, then MKB then Linkens, that costs a lot of gold. 1 HoT is enough

overall the guide is great but on a 5 vs 5 game ursa users i ussualy see get only 1 HOT 1 MKb a thread and some extra items such as vanguard or such but an ideal 5 v 5 game usually ends with only 2 lvl 4 items and 2-3 lvl 1 items mostly threads basilus

I saw someone disagree of having 2x Heart here. Them foo's don't know UW! Give him Kelen's, Travel, Linken's and triple-heart! Only a great player can handle that kind of build. Only gold-gods like me and ld can gain that gold fast. Also, MKB will break the Fury Swipe's effects with it's mini-stun sh**! Same goes for bash and crits. Oh well, time to do a foreplay with my b**** here.. Tastes good..

i suggest you max out Fury Swipes before Overpower..

ursa is good...but ursa oways being targeted at start..what a mess...

yes correct... why not max out fury swipes first before overpower its useless in early game.. your are fast but look at the damage...

i don't prefer any of your items, MKB has a 0.1 stunning , sangeyasha has orb effect. then the fury swipes will not fully effective. i think you don't need to buy travel, i think you must buy power treads and hyperstone and why don't you buy aegis if the item like yours the ursa won't have any defense. your ursa is fast but no defense.(please think about it)

This is just weird... why get hyperstone when you can get 400% increase AS with Ursa's 2nd skill.. I think 3 HoT is the best option... BoT, Linken's Sphere and Blink Dagger.. This is so far the most suitable build for Ursa..

@ Garfield - I stand corrected. If mkb resets Fury Swipes cumulative damage it definitely isn't the way to go for Ursa.

mmm.... i think that two hearts is not so needed for Ulfsaar, because his hp is one of the biggest (1898 lvl 25 whitout a heart) so its enough with one. A radiance instead of a secnd heart would be better, more damage and 35 damage per second in an area. oh, and sange&yasha are orb effect, not needed.

he has 2278hp if u add stats at lv25, plus 2 heart, linken, 4113hp, n almost 36hp regen/sec, dmg, 75+15+20(stats)+90(lowest dmg)=200, +ulti, 200+(4113x8%)=529.04dmg

but him not being a ranged hero is reli reli reli weird...

when you play with ulsfarr you want to get the highest hp as possible so you can take the most effect of your ultimate as possible seeing as it goes off of your base health. THe higher the health the higher the damage bonus you.

you get blink so you can blink right next to the hero not givng them any time to escape when they see you. It can also be used to escape in an emergency.

my build for ulfsaar isn't much different of antipeter's I usually get 2 vanguards, lothar, n buriza if game goes long. Not bad strategy at all, just skill build need a bit changes

and the item build too needs couple of changes

I think you didn't know that fury swipes is an orb effect. Using S&Y will only waste that skill. Just reminding you. I prefer also getting another heart of tarasque rather than a battle fury. Cause a lot of life means a lot of damage from enraged.

Power trades lang dagger 2 HOT. no S&Y orb yan. got it?

I prefer my build, vanguard+power treads+butterfly+3 hiperstone. max out fury swipes first and overpower. max out enrage at level 13-16 because your better hp.

3 or 4 HoTs = ownage with the fuzzy bear...

umm this is tru ulsaar is ranged there for u cant get BF and u have SO AMNY ORB EFFECTs im not sure if u even go this hero well ne ways i get lothars coz u cant beat the extra dmg and ww u can get further and no1 noes where u are (u can see where peeps blink most the time) but other than than was btw U MUST MAX FURY ASAP and then get earthshock okay

Usually i go lothars first then BoT then heart linken blah blah blah......thoght thumbs up for the blink dagger 7/10!!!

Battlefury wont cleave unless ulti activated.
Fury Swipes essential for early game farming, Earthshock is to kill heroes and not good for farming.
You should update this with Assault Cuirass in the recipe too, -5 armour hurts with enrage and fury swipes

scratch blink dagger in favour of lothar's and ditch S&Y. get the new 30% spell reduction helm too it's very usefull

2 much money. u can get this items if you are playing for about 3 hours on 3v3 game, or u are playing vs. noobs

Fury Swipes won't stack with S & Y. Read the inscription that says "orb effects do not stack" on it! Anyway, nice strat!

yeah you can't get Sange and yasha. because their both orb. But it might be good to buy vlad offering. You might not see the good of it. but it is not an orb effect. and once you do overpower. 5x16 or something like that is around 80 percent lifesteal in one second. That is alot!.

lothar's edge is better for this guy. with vanguard, HoT, can do killing streaks fast..

A bitt weird that you dream about DotA... anyway, dont get the battle furry, because Ulfsaar is a hero killer and no farmer

I haven't seen anyone suggest Vlad's for Ursa yet... I get Vlad's every game and can solo Rosh by lvl 9. By thirteen or so you can get Lothar's and then it's gg for everyone. Pop your abilities, windwalk in, stomp, and they won't know what hit em. Vlad's also gives you an advantage for those that would rush you. With overpower, you hit them 5 or 6 times within a few seconds, and Vlad's lifesteal gives you back any health you may have lost when they charged. Vlad's is the way to go for Ursa IMO.

btw i usually go an entire game and pwn without using earthshock once. its an usful but not needed skill.I usually get it last and ursa is an agi hero lol.
I always get vlads so I can solo rosh at lvl 8.

wait, if ursa is ranged then does this mean that you could possibly get a EoS (eye of skadi) because for ranged units eye of skadi is passive?

this would be sweet cause ur enemys couldnt get away
and the +25 to all stats would help ursa too

vladmir's gives lifesteal without canceling fury swipes
and vanguard makes him near invulnerable
if a hero is chasing you
just turn back
turn on overpower
and hit him
u'll survive and he'll die due to your vladmir and vangurad

UMMMMM IM PRETTY SURE (100%) THAT BATTLEFURY DOES NOT WORK WITH HIM BECAUSE HIS ATTACK ISNT MELEE CONTRARY TO COMMON BELIEF!!!!!!!!!!!!
