This hero is a rather oddity, an item dependant INT hero that is weak HP wise and has the strongest AOE in the game.

Leshrac

Leshrac - Tormented Soul

Range: 600 | Move Speed: 300
Primary: INT
Str: 16 + 1.5 | Agi: 23 + 1.7 | Int: 26 + 3
Damage: 45 – 49 | HP: 454 | Mana: 338
HP Regen: 0.73 | Mana Regen: 1.05
Attack Speed: 0.72 | Armor: 3
Split Earth Split Earth (T)
Splits the earth under your enemies feet. Deals damage and stuns for a short duration.
Level 1 - Deals 70 damage and stuns.
Level 2 - Deals 140 damage and stuns.
Level 3 - Deals 210 damage and stuns.
Level 4 - Deals 280 damage and stuns.
• Damage type: magical
• Destroys trees within its AoE.
• There is a 0.35 seconds delay before the effect is applied.
• Casting range: 650
• Area of Effect: 150/175/200/225
• Duration: 1.25/1.50/1.75/2.00 seconds (heroes), 0.75/1.50/2.25/3 seconds (creeps)
Mana Cost: 100/125/140/165
Cooldown: 9
Comment: Difficult to use short ranged aoe aimed stun. Quite possibly the hardest stun to use in the game (seems to have a shorter range than Lina's stun). But used to catch up and keep up with enemy heroes

Diabolic Edict Diabolic Edict (C)
Saturates the area around Leshrac with magic, causing random explosions to enemies. Lasts 8 seconds.
Level 1 - 32 explosions of 12.5 damage each (total of 400 damage).
Level 2 - 32 explosions of 25 damage each (total of 800 damage).
Level 3 - 32 explosions of 37.5 damage each (total of 1200 damage).
Level 4 - 32 explosions of 50 damage each (total of 1600 damage).
• Damage type: mixed
• The explosions will continue even if Leshrac is disabled or killed.
• Can damage invisible heroes if they are within the AoE.
• Can damage structures.
• Area of Effect: 500
Mana Cost: 95/120/135/155
Cooldown: 30/28/26/24
Comment: Pure, quick, high damage that can net tower kills as it damages towers insanely well also.
Lightning Storm Lightning Storm (G)
Calls a lightning storm that hits nearby enemies.
Level 1 - Deals 80 damage. Jumps 4 times.
Level 2 - Deals 145 damage. Jumps 6 times.
Level 3 - Deals 205 damage. Jumps 7 times.
Level 4 - Deals 265 damage. Jumps 8 times.
• Damage type: magical
• Damage stays the same through all the bounces.
• Casting range: 700
• Area of Effect: 650
Mana Cost: 100/115/130/145
Cooldown: 6
Comment: Nice AOE Nuke that is overlooked to play this hero to his main strenth.
Pulse Nova Pulse Nova (V)
Summons a Pulse Nova every second to damage nearby enemies.
Level 1 - 66 damage per nova, 88 damage with Aghanim's Scepter.
Level 2 - 100 damage per nova, 133 damage with Aghanim's Scepter.
Level 3 - 144 damage per nova, 177 damage with Aghanim's Scepter.
• Damage type: magical
• Will not deal damage if Leshrac is invisible.
• Area of Effect: 300/350/400
Mana Cost: 110(20/40/60 mana/sec)
Cooldown: 0
Comment: Double, Triple Kill, TRIPLE KILL! This in my opinion improved by Scepter solidifies Tormented Soul as the strongest AOE hero in the game of Dota.

I disagree with getting Dagger and Aganim's right away. I would prefer Guinsoo's for this hero. It will give him some strength to make that glass not break that easy, it will cover his mana and mana regen need and it will give him a great disable (hex).

After guinsoo's get dagger, aganim's or tarrasque.

these items are good for Leshrac
1. BoT
2. Scepter
3. Guinsoo
4. HoT
5. Shiva's
6.you can choose between Radiance(AoE)Bloodstone(unlimited Ultimate if you want mana regen)
and Maelstroom(Lightings everywhere)
you can pwn everyone(except world champs ofc )

u didnt mention that his ulti drains mana per second and can be activated whenever required without a cool down as long as you have mana to burn.

I've seen phase boots used effectively for chasing on leshrac

no lothar's edge?

ok i lied one more thing, to play pro games you need adaptation, imagine ganking brood with lesh... your ganking with sven, he stuns you stun all spells goin she starts dieing! then she ulties and your spells do no damage cuz of her lifesteal! a rushed diffusal makes for an easy kill! she says "wtf i ulti!" you say "lulz", lure enemies by makeing them chase you or a friend, or get friend to scare them to retreat, then you lie in wait in the middle of the lane. an alone hero=dead hero! gl hf!

148 By stuart 2008-12-03

one more comment, lesh needs an initiator for hero killing ability, a stunning teammate will do nicely but they are not always reliable! i prefer the self reliant lesh, as i do with all other heroes, initiator items are anything allowing you to land stun easily. euls-cheap, hex-expensive, blink-moderate, lothars-moderate, difusal - moderate. these are situational items pick one that fits the situation. if after early game kills get an initiator fast, if after farming early get travels, use head!

147 By stuart 2008-12-03

ok, good guide. but you forget to stress that lesh is probably the best farmer/money maker in the game. a boots of travel first allows him to out farm everyone extremely fast. early tower kills gives you money to buy your boots of travel. after travels you buy acording to who you are up against. but whoever it is, you have way more money so buy your items wisely, a necro book for techies, heart for pudge, linkens for many char, bkb for aoe = pit enigma es, be smart and lesh can kill anyone!
