Nice guide newbie! You should know that Boots of travel will NOT stack with power treads. Eye of skadi WILL stack with SnY because whenever Sny does NOT proc(cast maim) EoS will be used.

Ah this finally got posted. Looks like you know what you're doing here. You aren't trying to rush a huge item for instance. The Mask shouldn't be for the Lifesteal though, (and THAT won't stack with EoS EITHER) it should be for the Berserk. But you know that, its in my SA guide. Good work anyways, 10/10

Pretty good for a noob guide. Careful of BS - most SAs stick around for EXP when they have low HP. BS will come and kill while you're invisible.

ive played around 20 hours of DotA now :D, i live in australia. i dont hav broadband at my house cos i live on an island and theres no cables for it, unless i pay like 10k for my entire suburb to get it, but im not doin that. i msged drew to finally review it and he did... btw my NightStalker strategy should come out now. i play AREM, APEM and even with SP on the end as well... hahaha the n00bz think im a n00b when they cant see i sell PT. and yes shimrra_3, the MoM is mainly for frenzy. i was goin to say get basher instead of the MoM but i like MoM for the frenzy more because u can use MoM to destroy towers and bashers r only for creeps and heroes.

Did I say I hate the Error 503? Maim DOES NOT STACK with frost attack on MELEE HEROES. It only works on RANGED HEROES. So leave one out.

DECENT PLAYERS KNOW THAT ORB EFFECTS DON'T STACK. Item priority takes place. If Eye of Skadi is prioritized, you'll have frost attack but no maim.

The 10% Maim is irrelevant if Eye of Skadi is your priority item. It will never trigger. As for S&Y being your priority item over Eye of Skadi... you need to play Tower Defense right now.

nice build! anyway there is a problem in orb effect in skadi if u have a sange and yasha! the best of this two isa SY! if i am you i will use a radiance!? radiance and SY are best combination!!!! radiance is a warning that you are coming!!

i usually dont get up to EoS anyway (cos it be super expensive) and im only assumin that EoS is the most elite item there is... u could probably replace SnY later with Manta Style so u can clone or rapier but if u get the rapier, u might need the aegis just to stay alive but thats much more expensive. why would i want radiance? it defeats the purpose of his ulti despite the fact that radiance is good. (btw, id rather BoT than PT cos this guy can still be easily be killed in later game so id think fleein is more important that attackn speed. plus the ability to teleport saves time. who cares about the Maim, the EoS passive ability is better anyway)

pretty good, but i would sometimes use blink strike to attack a dying enemy. even if it is past the tower. you can always run into the woods later on anyway cuz of perma invis

you can't stack three orb effects all at once dude. no need for lifesteal or cold. SnY all the way then go for buriza. by the time you get to buriza, the game is almost over. well if you're a greedy farmer and have a lot of money, buy an mkb instead to add more damage but sny plus buriza alone snyergized with backstab is = to 500+ damage. and dont change your 2 wraithbands to bracers. the + in your agility (12 for the double wraithbands) will add to your damage because riki is an agi type. you will need this added damage for your backstab. and when you get crysalis...voila, "i see dead people!"

btw, i played -arem yesterday(and got Rikimaru!) and managed to get all these items. i was playin in a pr0z server and they were stupid enough to let me farm to lvl 8. until they decided to be pricks at buy wards and gank me in groups. i got the crystalys and sny at lvl 12. buriza and MoM(mainly for frenzy) at lvl 20. by the time i got to lvl 22 i had butterfly too and it was GG cos i soloed like 2v1 as well. muhahaha. everyone else was at lvl like 20. again i repeat... if u do get EoS, sell ur SnY so u can afford it. if u want a sixth slot, get a SnY

that last word in my comment is supposed to be "basher"... a basher is mainly a hero slayer item, but its entirely up to u when u get it.

i guess if was a newbie this guide is 8/10. But i am not, so i'll give you a 4/10. because item build is expensive, and you should first know the meaning of "orb effect. Oh yeah, radiance is bad for riki, its like invisibility but not invisible at all. I mean thats what riki's ulti is for. If you have radiance people will just go back to thier tower. Or worse they will know that your actually there and put a ward and kill you. specialy if your opponent is a heavy nuker. riki woulnt stand a chance. so there, thought i just let you guys know. that radiance + riki - pro dota player = dead riki.

u dont need wards if rikis got radiance... u can spot him if he does

I agree with yukino. Maim does not stack with maim on MELEE heroes. That 10% chance wouldn't stack only works on RANGED heoes. You should check out the orb effects table at dotaportal.com

...MoM won't do you much good in end...your movement speed should already be fast enough...also, if you get an EoS, the MoM's life steal won't stack...

GUYS. EVERYONE. Maim sits around until it triggers, the 10% overrides the other effects, then its gone again. Lifesteal and SKADI do NOT stack, but Maim will work like how I said.

just a quick question does life steal get activated from the damage of radiance??? cause my final build would be vladmirs radiance butterfly mjolnir adn bloodstone/wahtever... with the first few items no one can beat u anyway.

Rikimaru is a 1v1 hero, Vlads aura isn't that helpful. Not to mention that build would be rather expensive.

the idea of getting 2 wraith band in early game is good, but, buriza considiring as one of your items hahahaha, are you crazy. in rikimaru's case, mkb is better than buriza, you know why? if you try to kill a hero, of course first you cast smoke screen (now the enemy is slowed by 25%, it is silenced, and misses 80%) then start inflicting damage on the it, base on your items, you have radiance and butterfly, you should kill the target about 7 backstabs. so, in 7 strikes there's a chance that there will be only 1 critical strike. on the other hand, mkb increases your attack speed, and base on my experience, when my items are radiance, butterfly and mkb, i can kill a strength type hero with tarrasque in just 3 seconds. see the difference. thats why buriza is just a waste of money.

for an extra 2k, you can go for a skadi which does a better job than an sny, sny is pointless, radiance is pointless. by the time you get all your items, the games finished... just go bfly, bot, manta

Yeah bashers is really good on rikimaru. You got this little rat with stealth whacking you and your getting stun. and you also have two orb effects which won't stack. The items in your build that i would keep is. S&Y,Butterlfy, and maybe crystalz. The other 3 is 2 bashers and power treads.

Not so sure about the radience. First of all it gives away that your in that area, but that dosent matter and its only plus 70 damage and immolation. nothing else. I'd rather get 2 butterflies, that means faster attacks and more evasion and plus 60 more damage.And a little more attack speed cause of the agility gain.

I think you have to survive level 1-6, then at level 11 your going imba, i had once stats with 13 killd and 2 death, i like this hero, you should make sure that you have full backstab at level 11, this hero is a real "laimer", only wait till the enemie is under 900 hp and the hit 2 times from the back, blink behind him, when he's running away, hit again on more time, run 5 sec. behind him till you have an other blink strikm and then kill him...

MKB is bst 4 dz hero for back stab and cancellation of skills goes for smoke screen too.. a nice combo... 3 butterfly 2 MKB nd treads? guess datz hard to beat ryt?? hehehe la lng...
