I don't believe getting 4K early game is possible however, when getting harrassed by nukers so getting last hit without get damage is not easy.

yes it is possible, maybe lvls 1-8 it will be very hard to farm, this is what I pointed out in this guide but once you reach lvl 9-11 this will be easy, and the difficulty in farming is already covered, i put in a technique on how to farm, and harass using fissure, this is based on how some of my friends tried it out, even noobs will have an easy time at lvl 9, enchant then hit covers your farming needs, and echo slam and fissure will possibly get you lots of kills.

satanic would be good, with enchant totem but the problem would be that you wouldnt hit most of the time unless pushing towers, necronomicon, blink dagger and guinsoo are your main priorities right now

I'm not agree with Necronomicon and Guinsoo. I prefer Arcane Ring for his mana and HP boost item is a must. Tarasque and Vanguard'll make him a solid initiater plus tanker for his team.

i still dun reli understand how echo slam works... i know it deals more damage when there are more enemies arnd, but how to ensure that the echos all hit the hero?

Raigor is one of my favorites! :D Didn't think Necro would do well with him.

I dont see anything wrong with your strategy =) Thats exactly how raigor should be played , tho u might wan to include some alternative items for raigor (like arcane ring etc) :)

echo slam's effect is like this
1.) when you cast echo slam there will be initial waves that will hit all units around you, don't know the exact aoe,
2.) when initial waves hit units around you each unit hit will produce echo waves which will deal damage to units close by.

u can use fissure to block enemy heroes only but not their creeps during early game to prevent them from getting last hits

it should be used for blocking a push, but not on early game, use it when your 3rd tower is getting pounded on this is what i recommend

y don't u get items that increase ur dmg instead of intellect items? Enchant Totem gives 300% dmg so increased melee dmg would stack well. end game u'd hav 300dmg and tripple that wen using Enchant Totem.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!Necrobook! Why everyone is such a fan of it now! Ofcourse it works but it is not made for Raigor imo. Hmph. Hmph, commenting on other items: RoB is ok, cheap item with fixed manaregen (which every non-int caster loves). But seriously. You need more max mana. You could atleast take eul before dagger... But my votes would go for a soul booster (or arcane ring + vita booster) simply because it's cheap and effective boost to mana and also gives a nice amount of HP, even thought you won't be upgrading it to aggy. Blink dagger itself is made for raigor... Mekasmn, well, it helps, but you're not exactly a farmer hero early so you can't get the money for it early enough, I think it's better to buy as some early game caster because they can easily get that for the midgame since they have no real farming problems... And the best ally you can ever have is tiny, he can toss you into the middle of the enemies, then you can do the enchant + fissure + echo (echo bounces of from corpses, so yes, two echos = dmg, but refresher isn't the most cost-effective item thought) . Also, I think your gold gain rates aren't so realistic, atleast for a normal game (not em). Maybe if you don't get harassed/denied at all, maybe then, but, that shouldn't be the case in a sensible game... Well it's your guide. Maybe it doesn't fit me.

farming like this is what my friends had when they tested this guide, (i made them test before i made this) 7/10 of my friends got 4k at end of lvl 12 at a normal 5 on5 game

This is great, but whyyy... all those activatable items... laggy players can't use this! In fact, my head already hurts... what about people who can micro the combos with HOTKEYS but not click-click-click etc? I reeeeally suck with a blink dagger. Nevermind my problems, this guide pawns. 10/10

ET on lvl 3 sucks, for the main reason that after shock as no major effect as a stun at that level, plus et on lvl 3 does feeble damage bonus, blink dagger is to be rushed so killing ability is uber, guinsoo does that but blink serves more purposes in a team gank,

necro is good for him, his chain of stuns help alot and blend with necro perfectly, yes microing is hard to do but if you select all of the units and press tab continuesly you will have an easier time.

for those who questioned of getting 4k early game: yes it is very possible. I even saw one having Radiance (different hero though) at level 8.

So basically if performed correctly and accurately what Donatboy said it wouldn't be a problem at all..

Probably Guinsoo would be enough for me. It's very imba to use all your disables at once = OVERKILL.. hahahaha

Very nice guide, well layed out. I don't really like stoner boy but meh. And also blocking creeps with fissure is illegal in TDA games on Battle.net and even in a pubby you maight banned for doing it, Just a heads up guys!

Radiance in 8 mins is apem or 1 v 1 match... or then someone has done some terrible feeding.

Fly guide man. I owe u one. Liability heroes (e.g. Bone Clingz, Sniper, Gondor) just can't last in front of him. Anyways, he needs 2 tank a bit so I guess I would save enough for a reaver n then go for the rest of the invi's. Should I go bling dag first or my reaver? 'Cuz Iam a slightly defensive player, but I love this hero n he is fully OFFENSIVE. And another thing, usually people don't gank Raigor with their creeps (only noobs would do that). They counter neutral him n then they gank him. And when 4-5 heroes come 2 gank 1 hero he really doesn't get a lot of time to do his moves. I cramped in a few bracers early game n it helped a LOT. If u want mana early game I'd say go for a null talisman n a robe o magi.So can u plz tell me what 2 do? I'm very confused Plz reply...

Perfect guide! It totally states the strength & weakness of Earthshaker. The item build and skill build are exactly like mine when i use this guy!

I would like to suggest an additional statement on Raigor's weakness - 'Slow attack speed'. Raigor is a STR Caster hero, for those who suggest on using Satanic and damage boosting items on Raigor, it's totally not worth it as his attack speed is just too slow to make full use of those items. His AGI gain is only 1.4 per lvl gain, how fast can his attack speed be?

4000gc by lvl11 is totally posibble on this guy. Just use his ulti to clear a big creep wave. His ulti cool down is just 60sec anyway.

Me, I give my Raigor some Threads, Vanguard, Vladymir's and Battle Fury. The rest depends on the situation. I like the Dagger idea, I might give it a shot. Anyways, nice strats

thank you for the nice comments, and again, attackspeed is not the factor for raigor, his spells are, a caster build is always strong, another thing is as sawsaw and tstiong said it is possible to achieve 4k and above at lvl 11, even on a 5 on5

Its a good guide but its hard to farm becuase its ASPD is very low and its Movespeed too.:)

midas is one of the good items that can be used on raigor because of the transmute ability but rushing on the neccessary items that your team can benefit on we may put midas on one of the Luxury Items that raigor gets once core items are gotten

Great guide, Maybe put death prophet as one of your favorite enemies since your slam bounces off the spirits, and maybe put a note beside the ult to tell them that it DOES bounce off corpses (hence why donat wants teh refresher).

Yeah, why didn't you put enhcant totem at early lvl? it can greatly harass melee heroes when they, get near you

no actually making the reason that it harrases melee heroes early game really sucks, don't you know how much damage and the length of aftershock when you have lvl 1 enchant totem and at the same time enchant? just feeble, damage bonus? 25 damage is that large? its just a big waste of precious mana, using fissure instead of the times you used enchant earlier could have given you a kill

guinsoo is great for raigor, even though he is a str hero, his skills are made for casting multiple chain of spells do disable opponents around, plus manaregen aint that bad

Well I am never very good w. Raigor, generally just -repick and/or -swaphero but I will try this out and give you my outcome.

necromicon is a good item but it has its advantages for some enimies because those summoned worth i think 100 gold so if the 2 is killed 200 which the enemy will always want to kill...and i think they can use diffusal to kill it easily

This is very nice, and I have tried it out several times. What I have noticed towards the end of the game is that ppl have alot "better" items. Like fast attack speed and heavy dps. Unlike they raigor doesn't. And if you are not used to the build like me it gets very hard to kill them. Still I have managed to kill 1-2. The second thing is that it is very many things to keep an eye on. Like hex spell, necromimon summons, fissure on the right time etc etc. For the new user to this build its not easy. From lvl 1-16 its VERY EASY to kill with this. I recomend it. Still, takes some skill to get the hand of all this.

This is a great guide. Agree with Dota Lover - this is not a noob strategy. I think any strat that properly advises Necro book automatically is placed at the advanced level. But, it's key to victory, as you pointed out. Great job!

Well the same way i play raigor but most people dont pick him cuz he is damn slow and easy to kill sometimes

yes i know at first raigor is a Huge very slow bull But if you play him for a while you would like him yes he isnt the most popular hero heck nobody plays him But i like playing him simply because i want to be diffrent raigor is challenging like tiny's toss or Pudge's Hook at first i hated echoslam cuz it was so weak i didnt realize its potential in level 6 i USED fissure twice to damage and block creeps and also an enemy lich and doom then i used my clarity and presto echoslam boom a half lich reduced to ashes and dOOMBRINGER becoming a running lackey 9 creeps so 200 + 9 times 35 so 200+315 =515 imagine if there were 20 creeps in late game RAIGOR GIVES ME GOOSE BUMPS

isn't one battle fury enough to solve raigor's mana problem? i hate a raigor with guinsoo(leaves u dependent on ur spells)!!! but anyway the gide is goood...

i usually go for arcane ring as a first item.. play defense get last hit and then u get enough mana to use fissure, echo slam and enchant totem. it works perfectly

i dun tink meka wil be a great help.and de Necronomicon.by the time u blink in enchant totem and slam and stun,by the time u summon de mage de hero is already gone.u mine as well do a DAGON.blink in enchant totem and dagon uti stun. windwalk hero will be death.better than de book.

There is a download that simulates holding down the alt key duting the game so you dont have to. After you download it, dont forget to turn it on (by default it doesnt show anything even when it is on) I downloaded it and did not get any viruses, although the site might look wierd, its very helpfull...

it need alot of mana to cast all the spell and i dun think it is enough mana to cast all.so i think so buying more int item to boost mana...

But i have some questions:
Why instead of buying ring of basilius going for an arcane ring?
If u have arcane ring u will never run out of mana and then you dont need guinsoo.I would replace it with a HoT for tanking or for a DPS item because late game heroes can easily survive ur spells cause of high life..

I overall thought it was very nice but instead of guinsoo i find a arcane ring early game and a battle fury is very usefull. Battle fury works well with farming becuase of the splash but the damage/mana regen is very nice for enchant totem/stun combo.

And also to clear things up, echo slam is like a warstomp with chain lightning, it'll bounce off enemies onto nearby enemy targets which means when there are more enemies the echo slam will bounce more times (more hits=more damage)

i like the strat but the pictures can use a little work... nice strat!

You now have enough mana to cast Echo slam Fissure Refresher Arcane.. Echo slam and Fissure again..

use refresher if there are more than 2 heroes.. right timeing is very important

Two fissures to completely trap your oppenent.

- First, polymorph
- Then, let two fissures cross eachother so that your opponnent is completely in the corner of the two fissures that crossed eachother.
- Aftershock, echo slame, couple of hits= OWNAGE!!!

have any of u ever tried to buy 2 bashers ? i stacks with aftershock. when basher bashes it makes aftershock work and it makes 1)bashers aoe 2) stun with more damage and even make it longer. 2bashers also give attack damage and hp.

Wow nice Ragior is always crap when hes on the other team cus of the fissure. But if you got a pro Ragior on you team he stuns in perfect spots blink perfect and ya ultimate killage. I agree unless you and a couple of buddies are ganking 5 guys the second echoslam from refresher only does something, but when against one guy with creeps the creeps die so the second slam does nothing but like 300 damage. I don't think you really need necromicon but it can also be good sometimes. Usually I get a dagon to for finishing off heroes. But the rest is what i usually get. 9.5/10

refresher is qyite a good item now for es...
echo acutually come out of dead creeps! yes! that means if you do it fast enough, you candouble echo the enemy will the same number of creeps, at least it works when i played 6.49
hex is good for es and all, but it is really then expensive, arcane will be able to cover the early game lack of mana and by late game your stats would have given you the mana needed.
necro, not my choice of an item for raigor, but maybe it is just that i dont micro well...
anyway good guide, still hopes you change your mind about the expensive hex though 10/10

oh yes 1 more thing i forgot to point out, i tend to think your build is more for solo killing or 1v1 type,your items is good for disabling and everything, but in team battles a 5 secs stun + 1 echo slam is more than enough to clear team,refresher might be a better item in team battle in this case, but its your choice

I always like Radiance and Refresher combo for this hero... but never play with necronominion. Looks like a good idea to irritate enemies to no ends.

Echo Slam on corpses? are you mad? if that were to work id put refresher on, but it doesn't, and what part in the guide did i mention aftershock working at the end of fissure? read the guide before you flame, no rather play raigor first before you flame

ahhhm,

Tried your early game items/skills, ended up getting the same late game items. AND, if anyone doubts these items, I never found myself low on mana, no arcane ring. Boots of travel are a great help when you happen to spot that perfect cluster of creeps+hero mwahaha...

yeh you know that raigor needs mana more than you think y do you not think of building aghanims scepter but still guinsoo is ok

Q: Why necronomicon?

A: necronomicon gives raigor a power boost, the bonuses in strength and int are great, but the two demon mages that come with it is plainly imba, plus your chain stuns perfectly combo with the demon mages.

he said they go well with the chain stun. while you're stunning them so much, the necros are attacing/mana burning. it's like bane using necro with grip.

i don't like getting arcane ring.. i find myself needing to heal more than needing mana, especially with the other int items. i'd just get clarities at the start.

Yeah, pretty nice guide. But i think it's better if you buy arcane ring first, so that you can farm a lot of easier early-mid game

I agree with guinsoo completely. It helps in escapes and of cos necromanicon summons could hit more.

i really like getting a lothars mid-late. it gives u an escape thats better than just stunning and u can sneak up with your enchant/echo slam combo with a fissure ready to use if they start escaping and with a 17 sec cooldown or windwalk with all those stuns u could use it twice in a fight (like for the chase). what do u guys think?

What kind of strategy is this!!! Where is arcane ring??? Even bots get arcane for shaker, AND how come all the items are Intelligent items!!! BOORING & SUCKING ITEM BUILT!!! MEKA for shaker WAT A FOOL...if u need armor then go for curiass...15 armor...

can I use refresher in 4v4 or 5v5?? so even if all the creeps are wiped out, you can still damage them a lot coz some maybe very hard to kill...nice strat 9/10

Good strat, I agree with your "Raigor-as-a-caster" aproach. He helps the team a lot more if you play him that way. Someone (sorry, I don't remember the nick) suggested playing him as dps. That'd prolly work, but you'd need more items/ you'd be way less effective on group battles. The itens are ok, most times I won't make necro cause somebody of the team will do it. As for mekansm, go of it if you want to play the full support role. 9/10

excellent strat, but i like using eul's instead of ginsu.. cuz I think eul's lasts longer than ginsu so i have more time to prepare my positions. and. when i versed pudge.. euls worked really great,, when he hooked me, i used euls on him and i go taway. xD other than that i like ur strat better than mine. xD Good Job!

all u need on earthshaker is BoT/Treads, Bracers, Battlefury, and Assualt Curiuss...very ownage

zzz i played with ur strat wit option b and fill it up wit a hyper stone and it was da best late game hero ever. lol
i frist got near a hero and fisurre them. then i used enchant totem which was like another 1 sec stun and echo slam. like another sb. but whould u get assult curritlas? its att speed increase at end game is good.

Im sorry but I'am used to use REFRESHER THEN SHIVAS try it and youll know it, if your asking for the second ECHO in 5V5 scenario w/ or w/out creeps and all of you have a build, then one echo is not enough.
