good stuff. but it would seem your early game would be vunerable. your spedning about 2150 + 7100 before you start killing.

I was in the middle of a panda guide but I think I will stop now. Panda is actually an easy hero to use. To own all you do is buy Boots of Travel Satanic then 4 hearts. Nuff Said.

Yo , extremely informative guide on how to fully utilise his ultimate which is -imo- the hardest thing to do with panda. I still have a few queries w.r.t to his ultimate however,

1) How should u micro the 3 pandas? Like which one first followed by which... etc

And also annother problem i feel i frequently face is

2) Inability to farm skadi, because skadi comes in big bulky items , are there any alternatives builds? like massing bracers?

Hi (--,) ahm its an very good guide on the panda men.. but the items i used for my panda is first S&Y,battle fury for good farming then the Hart, its realy easy to farm with the battle fury and skadi is so expensive

For everybody who says that I should check out the new items: I have, and none are quite worth buying for panda. These are all very nice items, but none of crucial value to panda. They would just delay getting the core items.

kAEm: The Aegis is out I suppose.... And the new spell resistance recipe isn't quite worth it for the panda.

ReSpEcT: Tyty, i'll be editing the guide to reflect this. Pretty much you would want to group all of the pandas, and order an attack on somebody. Then you would tab to either the earth panda for offense, and the air panda for escape. The chicken is intended to fix the ultimate orb problem, and, played right, panda hardly ever dies so you should have no problem farming them.

DaTruYugo: The mana problem is what skadi is intended to fix. Early game you can get a null or two so that you can clap blink clap, but skadi should give you enough mana for pretty much anything.

jake-the-mus: uhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmm no. Sorry, but this build will not be effective. By the end of the game you will have about 500 mana; this is not sufficient for anything. Massing hearts and a satanic would let you tank, and nothing else. If you would like to sit there, sponge up damage, and kill nobody, by all means have fun! [no attack speed, no means of chasing, hardly any damage, etc]

No damage? Lmao. 4 X 35 Damage = What +140 damage? Plus satanic witch is 25 = Hmmmm +165 damage? Then stats. Dude late game with 4 hearts, BoT and Satanic you don't need mana you only have to use 1 skill by that stage. And TC IS your slow..? You don't need a skadi its an incredible waste of money. Beleive me if you have tried a simple build like that then he is UNSTOPPABLE late game.

HONESTLY. Is this a joke? How on earth will you farm for 4 heats and a satanic? Are you mad? and for 5500x4=22,000 gold, 140 damage is absolute CRAP. Factor in the satanic, +6k, and you have a core item build that costs 28, 000. (not including consumables, travel, etc)

Please, Jake_the_mus, create your own panda guide and elaborate on this build. Kindly explain how you would farm that much in a standard -em time frame, with panda, a poor farmer. Please explain how you can down a 1700 hp hero (if you can farm 4 hearts, it would be at the stage of the game with everyone lvl 25, so 1700 hp is meager) with 240 damage hits and only a 4 second slow. Don't forget that the enemy probably has a stun or a slow of his own, or other means of escape. The 17% slow from drunken haze does not allow you to chase anything. Also explain how skadi is an incredible waste of money, why you would only be using one skill at that stage.

Please create your own guide explaining this, rather than clog my guide's comments with foolish suggestions such as your own.

Ok, I will elaborate but this is my last time commenting. I don't mean that you can farm 4 hearts im just saying that's what you should aim for. As my friend says just "buy BoT and Satanic and just fill up on hearts" If you DO manage to farm all that gold then good for you and you will have over 6k health, so I doubt anyone will be touching you.

Finally! A guide for Mangix! I've tried him out a few times before and found him quite fn to use but never used him to his full potential. Nice guide, really informative, especially on Split.

Panda is one of my favorite hero. Although his ulti is hassle to use and too short, it's a life saver and can be the best hero killing mechanism if used properly which needs practice.

We coincide in most item builds, especially Vlad, Thread and Skadi. I get Tarrasque last or as replacement for Vanguard, but I never tried Dagger and MKB yet. It's hard to get all your high end items during late game, even Skadi is hard to build on 5on5. But Skadi is way better than S&Y. Why take chances for S&Y maim when you can get 100% slow and nice stat boost from Skadi? Anyways, nice guide, especially the animated Primal pandas above

I think the items Panda is equipped are temporarily canceled or overridden by Primal Split. Look at Storm Panda above, no item equipped but just 2 columns of some sort of ancient writing whatchamacallit. The 3 Primal Pandas have awesome stats and skill equipped already so use it before time runs out.

Salzoris blink is for escaping and clap/blink/clap combo ... i think

I think treadz,s n y,mkb,radience(evasion),battle fury n heart is great for panda...

Excellent guide. The only "flaw" I can think of is that you´ll be a little exposed early game against hunters/disablers... though if you´re careful you shouldn´t have a problem. Thumbs up.

Hmmm, I am not very sure if you actually need a aegis unless you get it from roshan.

Not many people look at the Panda as a good hero. I tried this stategy out a couple times and it works great. Once the Panda has that Skadi, it nearly impossible to kill him 1v1. The only thing I would change would be Kelens because it seems a waste of money. I prefer going for that Skadi right away to make a sure victory.

I tested it and it works properly.Excellent! But i'll advise Perseverance. This will solve mana problems.

how about using radiance?? 40 dmg/sec it can help u farm and also hurts ur enemy(s) wen ur chasing them when they are escaping

that BoT, satanic, and hearts build won't cut it. you can't catch up to anyone, you've got low attack speed, you're just meat in the frontline soaking up the damage. nice guide, especially on how to use the three pandas

I like the build very much. Just pwned a game with it substituting 2 bracers for vanguard which I prefer to do for the +stats for mana, hp, and dmg.

I was under he impression that burzia/bfly stack with his drunken brawler skill, if this is true, why not get them every time, perhaps not bfly always, but definately burzia?

neat guide! pandaren is my best hero so trust me, this is an even freakingly monster build. early game, i usually bring clarities/ basilius because of mana need for lvl 1-2 kill (with another hero of course) but on mid to end games, those items are well worth every penny. Great suggestion on the Vladimirs. I always end a game without lifesteal and I'd like to try it on Mangix

Very effective builds (item and skill) overall... as if I know how to use all the Primal Pandas, but you seem to know, and you've detailed it nicely. Good comebacks on nasty comments I SHOULDA TRIED THAT ON MY TECHIES GUIDE YES? Well. I looked at all your guides for a last-minute grudge and your Viper and Mortred are about 40-50% lame (I commented, go look if you dare), but this one makes up for them because I'll be damned if anyone else has made a Panda guide this good. I don't even like Panda and I still know this is good because I see all the details, AND, FINALLY, I saw Panda get a Quad in a 4v1 after the other side had killed all his allies, with simply Skadi - your build emphasises this. So. 10/10 from me, despite all the horribly incorrect things you said on my Techies guide some months ago. Make sure you actually READ this; you weren't paying much attention before, but most of these comments and responses suggest you've come a long way from that. Not saying anything else.

No Bracers early game? Or any +damage items early game? Plenty of times I've come acrossed situations where my enemy is left with that tiny red bar and I'm too slow to deal that final blow. I really contemplate getting chrysalis>>buriza. Although your guide really strikes a chord with me. Thnx!

Very nice panda guide. I have to admit I'm a basher fan when it comes to using panda, and the build that I usually come up with is an HoT, 2 cranium bashers, and an assault cuirass. Pretty expensive, and it doesn't necessarily work out well.

buriza's dmg stacks but crits do not

also if u have a chicken constantly buying items u will have no buildup of gold so whats there to loose when u die

also considering buying both skadi and sny
sny overrides skadi when maim activates and the two slows stack so for 6 seconds ur opponent will b slowed to less than half of normal ms not counting haze and clap

basically if u have both sny and skadi once u get in one hit the enemy cannot escape (without blink and invs) so there will b no need for dagger unless they have mass stun/slow

Well i use a different build, however it works out for me personally much better. This guy is a tank thats right, and he doesnt need that many life items for that matter. He needs damage and speed, because after you t-clap, enemies r really slow for 4 seconds, and if u have good speed and damage they wont even be able to start running. + you should always use t-clap, from behind, so that when the enemies r running, they have to pass u, and thats when u get them. I had these items: buriza, satanic, assault cuirass, power thread, mekansm(that game finished 2 early 4 me to get something better) and another hyperstone for super speed. Thats it. With that armor + life hes unkillable, and if he can easly get double and tripple kills. U shouldnt forget he already has 20% critical, + more from buriza, it can actually combine. With that attack speed i almost every attack saw him do >450 damage, and every 3-4 attacks he did over 900 - added up critical from buriza and his own. This way no one will be able to run from u since with power threads you are pretty fast, and after t-slap, they r very slow. During this time - 4 seconds u will kill anybody. I mean 900 damage.. with that huge attack speed... i almost never even had to use the ulti - its too short. However when i did - "shudder" the fire panda did 245-270 base damage or something like that. My own damage at lvl 23 was 125-130(about that) +110(about that too ^_^) from items. I pwnd that game 30/0 =D

i'll be making a new panda guide different frm this cos in my opinion panda nid more mana regen compared 2 stats and if u go wif this build u will require late game in order 2 kill and wads more if heroes have their hp getting higher,those frost effects r nothin,dey jus turn back and fight u. panda require aspd and movements speed in order to kill as the slow from clap and drunken haze is already sufficient to kill.cheers. 7/10

I agree to some and not to some. Panda is my number 1 out of my top 5 Dota heroes. As a panda fan, my strategy is quite different from urs. But dagger is really isnt useful for panda. U need mana regen and damage dats wer Battle fury comes in. 5 on 5 battle u start wit chicken and then charge into battle Empty handed. If ur pro at last hit then getting 875 and buying ROH from ur chicken and bringing it to you is nothing but simple clicks wit no stress. So then mana void = preseverance. dis is enough for staying in the lane and no need to return to ur base.after presevernce get Boot of speed and only 1 bracer, this is da part wer u shine in early games cuz dying for u is hard. Complete ur fury then powerthreads. Eye of skadi then HOT as the strat said so. Well finally dis is wer i stop, bcuz im unstoppable and Own b4 i can complete my other items. U can complete ur other item for MKB(recommended just as the strat said)and replacing Bracer for assault(anything u want). Trust me, i know panda better. As for other items, VLADEMER is useless for such a low life steal for panda and skiping vladmer for preseverence is better. BUTTERFLY doesnt stack wit evasion. BURIZO is not needed when u have a free critical already and burizo crit does not stack. SNY is not worth it unlike EOS just as the strat said so.BOT is expensive and just like Dagger so power threads can do tha job. Well im all said and done.

i think it would be better if you'll just put lvl2 thunder clap. 35%ms is huge cause this will help save mana at start.

damn! a very nice guide. i was thinking if the MKB and vlads was a little too deviant for panda. you think a rapier and aegis will synergise better? or maybe an assault cuirass in place of vlad.

oh well, i also think item priority is sort of wrong because it is indeed hard to initiate skadi so early. any way to circumvent?
