i just think Knight Davion doesn't need mekansm anymore.. anyways, he have a great HP regen.. what you lack is some mana regen.. why not have Battle Fury instead of Mekansm, and Satanic instead of HoT.. and if you are going for Hyperstone, why not go for Power Treads or BoT istead of Hand of Midas alone.. besides, he farms fast with breath of fire and a battle fury alone..

nidoking so tru about dragon blood instead of mekanism and satanic instead of HoT...also how could you not get dragon tail..stunning is so useful for killing and this provides you with 3.25 second stun to hack them!!!

ok, all i have to say is i made this strat when i was an ultra noob
and im far from happy about it. its so full of mistakes, and well, i know beter now. if theres any way of deleting this strat, then i'll be hapy to do that.

nidokings ryt u lack mana regen dude!!! so i suggest u buy battle fury and linken!!! so one of the mages cant cast spell on you!!!

i totally agree with big_langsta there, how can you get rid of dragon tail, & not to mention that you've built davion as an intel? you're suppose to have a lot of mana to spare.

i rekon get persverance, and the radiance strait off, heart and then bfury, so u have splash dmg both melee and dragon form.
ur breathe + radiance = good farming

FOR ME I LIKE DRAGON KNIGHT AS A TANK

AT FIRST GET DRAGON TAIL AND DRAGON BLOOD
LEVEL 6 u can kill a tower with no problem with these items. 2 ROR 1 ROH BOOTS OF SPEED SPELL SPAMS will suck cuz ur there to farm no to kill yet.
Dont get skadi...... ur melee man dragon form is good enough medium cooldown additional movespeed
For me get Vanguard and Blade Mail x2 even if ur enemies is int. (Teamplayer)
u get armor and damage in blade mail.
DEN REPLACE D ROR W HEART AND MAYBE AEGIS if u want ==))

as my personal opinian, i will not up the dragon form first, i only max the first 3 skilland i wan the frost breath only to chaise hero.

The reason you want dragon blood is that you don't have to buy regen items after that... or atleast that's the way how i see it. Also going for defensive items straight on is not a good idea, imho, if you're going to "farm and push" that long. And when you start pushing hard and creating such a trouble for your enemies, you can be sure that they're coming after you -> Boots Of Travel or Lothar's Edge would be a nice add. I would leave a base with a ring of basilus, it's simply just so good item for it's price (unless you're partner in the lane you're at has it). Rank 1 for dragon's tail could be taken earlier. Just my thoughts, i'm not an expert player with davion.

kind of short... in ur guide ur makin his armour like invunerable, but the items do give him some stats... i dont think he is strong enough to slay heroes though, but with the stun i think it would take quite some time to kill a hero who has high health and high damage. why not powertreads? they r better, but i understand that u want the midas ability to convert creeps into gold but powertreads give movement speed as well.

woah i like tu use it for melee heroes if they get close to you use dragon tail then attack then the enemy will run away from you keep doing this until the opponent gets annoyed with you because his hits will be useless because you keep on regenerating
my builds are b.fury,s&y,treads and the remaining slots for mkb

i reckon skip out the health regen skill for a ring and instead get stats increase early on so that he can be a better early game hero than he is in ur guide. thats what i would do.

anyt tips on which hero would be good against this Knight Davion??? is the Nerubian Assassin a good hero to killl this knight dude?

i think we should upgrade his armor more and more in 5 v 5 matches. so he can withstand in battle more time. we should try to make him tank buy giving more armor may be two plait mails. with this he can stun enemys easily and fight with them with help of other teammates!

i've juz learned to play..and ive fallen in love wit knight davion..its very powerful once its levelling up..but i dunnot know wat item is useful..but i'll try ur tips..hpe it works..thnx..u r cool man..keep cool..

nice strat. i only prefer dragon tail first than breath of fire if davion has a ally which is can stun and damge a hero it dragon tail is good. the enemy hero can't run from both stunners. breath of fire is good for mid game for farming and last hit hero's. but i also think that davion doesn't need anymore mekanism battle fury would be great for this hero because of its cleaving attack plus the fire nad frost dragons splash damage. when mana regen is same with its hp regen farming would be piece a cake.

hmm..nice strat if u are beginner and just want to experiment some thingz ...i tried yo strat man ...and i try to improve it .
at item build maybe is better try this :
when u land ..just keep yo money ..and first skill u learn to be dragon blood ..invest in this skill +2 in the beginning as fast as u can . Why ? because first thing i am going to build is perseverance (regen hp+4)and what is more important ..mana regen ...which will supply u with mana for using breathe fire ..More..perseverance will b needed later..for building battle fury .Anyway ...first thing u must buy is ring of health and then void stone..u must b very carefull..coz u are naked ..u are moving slow ..and u must not feed...just stay in the back ...and from time to time breathe some flames on the sukas for gold ..^^ of course if u are on a lane with another melee hero u can b more agressive ..but not too much .. be always alert .
In the beginning u will invest in breathe fire for farming and in dragon blood for regen . Stun is useless until mid-late phase game.

ok ..u have yo perseverance ..u have lvl 6 ..u know what skill u need bro right ?( hint : beggins with elder and end with dragon form ) :) Is time for the dragon to rise :) learn this skill and more important ..use it :P Use to farm and use it to ruuun ... in the beginning dragon will bring u safe home ..strategy : if u are low hp and u have no boots, ( of course u have not ..coz u spend all money on women ..pardon ..perseverance ) and the bad guys are sending infantry to knock down yo first tower ... hmm..i think u must run :) but first call reinforcements ...of course they will not come ...so is better run and then ask for help while u are running ^^

what next ? here is a dilemma...some will say buy boots ..others keep money ..other buy some alien artifact..
i definitely go for the boots .. davion is slow in human form ...and dragon will not give u a ride every 2 minutes if u know what i mean ...so dragon is sleeping ..omg ..laviathan is coming ..earth is shaking ...ruun...but wait ..why i am so slow ? :) I say boots of speed will definitely worth 500 gold..maybe will save your life..and u can upgraded later if u want in late game phase to boots of travel for real tactical movemements.
Next thing u must buy is a claymore and a mithril hammer..build your battle fury.fury+flames = money ^^
i do not agree with Davion does not need HoT..Hot makes u strong ..gives u dmg and health..so u must make this ...absolutely ...after the fury..
Dont b scared about u have only fury and boots on you...flames and dragon will give u a lot of money .. anyway Davion is very smart build ..first green dragon eats the first tower...red dragon eats the second tower ...blue dragon ..eats all ^^ hope u like my riddle :) towers will give u money for HoT .
hyperstone...yes it will nice..i think is a good investment ..but is not a must have item ..others may have suggestions ..maybe u want invest those 2300 in another item ..don`t know what...anyway ..as i said ...is not a bad investment..maybe is the last investment...cause many of the games will end by now ...

100+ hp regen's prety exagerated, that's like a portable fountain. max is like maybe 35 hp / second.

Probably a little more than 35hp per sec. Two hearts, dragon blood, and a battle fury by themselves is already 32hp not including strength.

i would recommend skip the ring of health/regen at the start and invest in a sobi mask, then a void stone next. you will really be able to spam fire breath... which is on a 12 second cooldown and is perfect for farming and big fights.

Hey not a bad strategy at all. But too short and not enough explaination. I love your hp regeneration so much. 8/10. Keep it coming....

By the way y not dragon tail early game. It good 4 ganking

I'm just amazed that no one ever mentioned arcane ring. It's the most important item for Davion. +300 mana, active: 135 mana. With this item at level 1-10 your mana pool is from 500-800. You virtually become a great spammer, firebreath, dragontail, hit, hit, hit, if enemy is stupid enough to not run, continue hitting then dragontail, hit, hit, firebreath. This can kill almost all heroes including str ones. Also, farming would be easier with firebreath.

drop the mekansm. i recommend: sobi mask, boots, void stone, vital booster, heart of tarasque, boots of travel, hyperstone. he's really well balanced.

I dont think he needs 2 HoT man! He has a lot of regen already. also no need for bottle . da tree ding is enough cuz it would waste space.

its pretty unusual to see a build with hand of midas these days... and dragonknight is pretty slow so I'd suggest power treds over hand of midas

Power threads over minas?i think bot is better; sure you don't have attack speed , but you've got a hell of a movement speed for quick escapes and quick returns .
I have a question , my friend is bugging me saying that rilay crestfall(crystal maiden) is better than davion and honestly...(even though i 've played a lot with davion) i'm not sure what arguments to say and prove my case: "davion > cristal maiden" (p.s. : i'm right aren't i ?)

manta style is for nukers, and dont rush into manta style, u can still use the diffusal blade for killing purposes...

try it.... if ur good enough in farming like me

but ur strat is good for teamplays...
(ps: put radiance if u can farm easily, no need for the bottle
bottle = waste of gold.. try putting boots first or ull get feeded by nukers and frosters..in early games.. and with this my set, u can harass anyone(except abbadon) in early games)
