This is the ultimate Balanar. The fastest character in the game for me and this is his ultimate guide
Balanar

Balanar - The Night Stalker

Range: | Move Speed: 295
Primary: STR
Str: 23 + 2.8 | Agi: 18 + 2.25 | Int: 16 + 1.6
Damage: 57 61 | HP: 587 | Mana: 208
HP Regen: 0.94 | Mana Regen: 0.65
Attack Speed: 0.69 | Armor: 6
Void
Void (V)
Creates a damaging void. If cast at night, slows the target for 4 seconds. If cast at day, slows the target for 2 seconds.
Level 1 - Deals 90 damage.
Level 2 - Deals 160 damage.
Level 3 - Deals 255 damage.
Level 4 - Deals 335 damage.
Void contains a ministun which procs at the beginning of its cast cancelling the target's channeling spell.
Mana Cost: 80/ 90/ 100/ 110
Cooldown: 8
Comment: Does the most damage and slows at night. Use it twice when attacking you should have enough time.

Crippling Fear
Crippling Fear (F)
In the night, the Night Stalker can cause intense fear in enemy units, causing them to miss attacks and be unable to cast spells. This has reduced effect during the day.
Level 1 - Miss on 40% of attacks, slow by 4%. Lasts 5 seconds.
Level 2 - Miss on 40% of attacks, slow by 8%. Lasts 6 seconds.
Level 3 - Miss on 40% of attacks, slow by 12%. Lasts 7 seconds.
Level 4 - Miss on 40% of attacks, slow by 16%. Lasts 8 seconds.
Causes 10% miss and silences for 3 seconds at all levels during daytime.
Mana Cost: 90
Cooldown: 12
Comment: no use for me.
Hunter in the Night
Hunter in the Night (G)
The Night Stalker is at home at night. He attacks and moves more swiftly.
Level 1 - 20% movement speed, 30% attack speed.
Level 2 - 25% movement speed, 45% attack speed.
Level 3 - 30% movement speed, 60% attack speed.
Level 4 - 35% movement speed, 75% attack speed.
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: N/A
Comment: will become permanently when level 4.
Darkness
Darkness (R)
Creates a period of darkness for the Night Stalker to thrive in.
Level 1 - Turns day into night for 25 seconds.
Level 2 - Turns day into night for 50 seconds.
Level 3 - Turns day into night for 80 seconds.
This skill pauses the current time, so if it's cast at night it prolongs it.
With Aghanim's Scepter the Night Stalker will get unobstructed vision at night, meaning that trees and terrain will not block his vision.
In contrast to how Aghanim's Scepter works with other heroes, this improvement does not have anything to do with his ultimate (Darkness), but instead is active all the time.
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: 180/150/120
Comment: Keep the night for a longer period of time to slow opponents and be very fast.

Early Game:

Acquire first boots of speed to move fast early in the game since it starts in the day. Get giants belt for increase health and regeneration. Stay close to towers Balanars is slow first. Press alt to hit the dying creeps and get the gold. Get gloves of haste to increase speed during the day. Build up your Void and Hunter to wait for the night. Get your ring of health to regenerate health while farming or incase of an attack early when you are most vulnerable, early in the day. Remember to get darkness as soon as available. Get the Ogre Axe to have enough hp for first hunt when the night has arrive. Build your hunter to 3 or 4. Go kill the hero with lowest hp. Remember use your void, run and hit, finally void. Get a kill or 2 and we move to midgame. Dont forget your void stone.

SNY, BATTLE FURY PWD NA YAN

63 By abamjmjmj 2007-12-25

about the guide.. i think it is nearly impossible for balanar to buy all of the items included in your list. A sooper-dooper pro may be able to acquire your items but not me... Thanks for the guide though

62 By abamjmjmj 2007-12-25

DOuBLE BASHER is the best for balanar because of the increased attack speed during the night.. BKB is also a must on him for him to be able to kill his way even if there is so many impalers around... CRIPPLING FEAR is also important to avoid impales like stun, euls and guinsoo it is also good on clashes because you can silence the heavy nukers like lina and lion and the impalers like rhasta and lion.....you must also boost your str. because you have to tank in clashes... heart is the best str. booster and threads of str. will also help... lastly you must have an item that will help balanar boost his farming ability because he is really slow in this... battle fury or radiance is good...

this is just my suggestion... hope u liked it

60 By SlperyWenWet 2007-12-25

59 By Kogaru 2007-12-25

BKB = Black King Bar
To rugalx: if u dont use crippling fear, u are noob. Miss, slow and silence... 9 secs
WTF??? 9 secs silent????? Thats amazing cause 9 secs can be frikin long. Thats the time ur team needs to take down a tower, a barrack etc.. So, pls tell me why its a useless skill?

58 By SlperyWenWet 2007-12-25

Errrr....I;m just a beginner...What's BKB?

57 By boredmonkii 2007-12-24

where r the bashers man??

56 By vins 2007-11-10

IT SUCKS man! i think you need void for cripling and you must max up first hunter

55 By Axy Acer 2007-11-10

Crippling Fear is useful. Silences enemy so enemy cannot escape so easily, or heal with spells.

54 By XHellspawNX 2007-11-04

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
ok but balanar is a whole game hunter not a day sissy some times u must hunt even the day i also recommend alt 2 bashers bot satanic buriza and mkb or radiance or whatever u want

53 By Walren 2007-11-04

nice strat.. i agree in your itm build!! keep it up...

52 By den452001 2007-11-02

I try but sucked nah just kidding.

51 By oblivion59 2007-10-25

using crippling fear at early game helps a little.. try leveling void and hunter up to it's maximum. after that level darkness

50 By WAR_WICK 2007-09-29

crippling fear is an 8second silence why not level it??? + it's also 40% miss? it rocks...and boots shouldn't be first item get tangoes or something useful at that level...

49 By RaikaLuvsMe1 2007-09-21

WTF!! Can a hero really afford those items? Balanar is not a good farmer remember? No offense but your guide is just b***s**t! Your item build is just kinda suck. Darkness by level 6, your sick, you should think it for a while you know!! Too bad, but I'll rate this as 2! Sorry but it does suck you know, I hope you understand!

46 By gbmack 2007-08-24
