A poisonous magic is placed on an enemy unit causing it to move slowly becoming paralyzed. The longer the poison takes to set in, the slower the unit will become. After the poison sets in, it takes physical damage per second for 7 seconds. Target moves slower per level.
Level 1 - 8 damage. Takes 1 second to set in.
Level 2 - 16 damage. Takes 2 seconds to set in.
Level 3 - 24 damage. Takes 3 seconds to set in.
Level 4 - 32 damage. Takes 3 seconds to set in.
• Damage type: physical
• This damage is not reduced by damage block abilities (such as Vanguard, Kraken Shell, etc.)
• At level 1 slows target by 33% for 1 second.
• At level 2 slows target by 33% for 1 second and then 66% for another second.
• At levels 3 and 4 slows target by 33% for 1 second, 66% for another second and then completly disables target for 1 second.
• This skill has a ministun that interrupts channeling skills.
• Casting range: 600
Mana Cost: 100/115/130/145
Cooldown: 15/13/11/9 seconds
Comment: Your disabling skill. Use it on heroes that are running away or are about to. It also has a minor stun when it sets in, you can use this to counter channeling spells.
Shallow Grave prevents any damage from killing the targeted hero for 5 seconds.
Level 1 - 400 Casting range.
Level 2 - 600 Casting range.
Level 3 - 800 Casting range.
Level 4 - 1000 Casting range.
• Targeted hero's hp won't go lower than 1 for spell duration.
• Shallow Grave will not prevent Axe's Culling Blade ability from killing a hero.
• If the Goblin Techies use Suicide Squad, Attack! while under the effect of Shallow Grave, they will still die.
Mana Cost: 140/130/120/110
Comment: A good/evil spell. It has quite long range but takes time to work, so cast it on an enemy from a distance before you close into combat. Or use it on your tank to buff him.
Sends forth a Shadow Wave to heal a few units. Healed units also damage a small area around them for the same amount.
Level 1 - Dissipates 80 damage, 3 targets.
Level 2 - Dissipates 100 damage, 3 targets.
Level 3 - Dissipates 120 damage, 4 targets.
Level 4 - Dissipates 140 damage, 5 targets.
• Damage type: physical
• Will heal you without counting against the targets limit before bouncing to the target.
• If targeted on self, you will not count against the targets limit, then the spell continues bouncing normally.
• Allied heroes are primary target for heal.
• 500 Bounce AoE between units
• 170 Damage AoE around the healed unit
Mana Cost: 80/90/100/110
Cooldown: 12/10/8/6 seconds
Comment: Not a powerful heal spell, but spammable at high levels. Don't use it to farm with until you have plenty of mana.
A powerful shadow magic used to increase or decrease defenses over time. Changes armor by 1 every second. Affects allied and enemy heroes in a 600 AOE.
Level 1 - Lasts 12 (18*) seconds.
Level 2 - Lasts 18 (24*) seconds.
Level 3 - Lasts 24 (30*) seconds.
• Places buffs on heroes, so entering or leaving the initial area after the cast won't have any effect.
• Unobstructed sight (800 range day and night) is provided for a short time.
• Casting range: 2000
• Area of Effect: 600 (800*)
• Can be improved by Aghanim's Scepter (* shows the improved values).
Mana Cost: 100
Comment: A really nice spell that keeps your team in the field constantly. At low levels, use it on yourself or teammates about to die. At higher levels, keep it on your team at all times.

Notes On Dazzle's Abilities
Skill Build: The skill build is set up to increase all 3 abilities at an even rate. I recommend this because Dazzle needs them all, no one skill of his is good enough for any situation, but with all his skills he is excellent for any situation. Feel free to get the three skills in any order you like, my given build is simply the recommended one.
Poison Touch: This is an excellent harassing skill early game, I recommend spamming it as low as level 1. Against a melee hero, start with Poison Touch and then get in a few extra hits. Against a ranged hero, feel free to trade hits. If they start to run, use Poison Touch and chase for another hit or two (however, if they stay put, retreat and heal yourself). Mid to late game it starts to lose effectiveness as a slower/disabler, so use it on enemies during ganks rather than trying to finesse things.
Weave: An unusual buff/debuff, I get this last not because it is weak, but because I think it is not as immediately useful as his other two. Cast this on yourself if you are alone, on your tank if you are pushing, or on an enemy before you start combat (Poison Touch as a follow up is nice). Remember that it takes time to work but has no visible animation so careless targets may not realize they have -16 armor.
Shadow Wave: Imagine Chain Healing, but it damages in an AoE around everywhere it heals. This is your farming skill but I do not recommend using it to farm until you have plenty of mana to burn. When you are with your teammates make sure to target them with this so they get the effect of the healing, I find that the bounce doesn't hit needy targets. You may think the healing effect is low, but it stacks up when you use it every 6 seconds.
Shallow Grave: This ult was buffed in v6.44, made permanent (barring purging or death obviously). Before, you had to keep it up on yourself or an ally, but now you can theoretically have it on your entire team. This means that if you all get nailed during a push, you're back in time to defend your base from the counterattack. This ability could mean the difference between victory and defeat. As for application, start by using it on yourself in the early-game (you're pretty weak). If by the time it's cooled down you still have the buff, proceed to use it on your teammate, and so on.
I've gone over the general and specific applications of Dazzle's abilities, but how do you play him, really? How do you play support? Well it's fairly simple--stay with your team at all times. Unless you need to go defend a tower or something, make sure to be with at least 1 teammate, preferably a tank. If your whole team is doing something, make sure to be there. When battle is joined, try to stay at the rear of the group. Use your abilities liberally to keep your team alive and the enemy dead. Poison Touch your target, Weave your tank/yourself/your target, Shadow Wave your tank/yourself, and keep Grave on everyone. Do this constantly and well, and you will succeed.
Overall, play things smart and as usual, but the cardinal rule is to never go it alone.
Early game time!
Lane And Partner: Okay, so how to pick your lane and parter? First off, have a partner. This is very important as a support hero. Go for a strength-based melee one if you can. Middle lane is also an excellent choice because you can move to assist other lanes more easily. (And that's what you should focus on, assisting.)
Items: Assuming you're in Easy Mode, I would go for a Ring of Regeneration and Sobi Mask with Tangos (you can get 4 and make it to your lane in time not to lose any XP). When you go back to base, turn Sobi Mask into Ring of Basilus and Ring of Regeneration into Headdress of Rejuv (in that order of priority). Your next target is Void Stone, so save for that. Depending on the situation, you should pick up Boots of Speed no sooner than Ring of Basilus, and no later than right after Void Stone. If you are playing support correctly, you shouldn't really need Boots badly.
Tactics: Last-hit (striking enemy creeps the final blow so you get the gold) and deny (kill your friendly creeps, which prevents enemy heroes from gaining XP from them) as you usually would, but more importantly harass with Poison Touch as discussed. You shouldn't use Shadow Weave very often until you get Void Stone (use your Tangos for initial healing, and don't be afraid to lend Tangos to your ally). I wouldn't use Weave at all unless you're going for a hero kill.
If your team goes for a gank make sure to be present, because you can weave+poison the target.
