Lord of Avernus is a really powerfull heroe, after a while people will hate you but you`ll be loved by all your teammates. (based on my friend`s tato strategy "caballo d soporte", modified by me :D )

	Abaddon - The Lord of Avernus Range: 100 \| Move Speed: 295 Primary: STR Str: 23 + 2.7 \| Agi: 13 + 1.5 \| Int: 17 + 2 Damage: 55 – 65 \| HP: 587 \| Mana: 221 HP Regen: 0.94 \| Mana Regen: 0.69 Attack Speed: 1.48 \| Armor: 3
	Death Coil () A coil of death that can damage an enemy unit or heal a friendly unit at the cost of his own life. Manacost decreases per level. Level 1 - Heals or Damages for 100 HP. Deals 50 HP to himself. Level 2 - Heals or Damages for 150 HP. Deals 75 HP to himself. Level 3 - Heals or Damages for 200 HP. Deals 100 HP to himself. Level 4 - Heals or Damages for 250 HP. Deals 125 HP to himself. Mana Cost: 75 Cooldown: 7 Comment: Looks cool but its not very useful, you really need all your HPs.
	Aphotic Shield (T) Summons dark energies around an ally unit, creating a shield that absorbs a set amount of damage before expiring. When the shield is destroyed it will deal damage equal to the amount it absorbed to an area around it. If cast on self while using borrowed time, the damage you take will heal you. Removes certain types of negative buffs on cast. Lasts 20 seconds. Level 1 - 125 damage. Level 2 - 175 damage. Level 3 - 225 damage. Level 4 - 275 damage. Mana Cost: 100 Cooldown: 25 Comment: Your best skills, a perfect armor/weapon, you`ll be near invulnerable and the dmg is great, use it every time. Can be used to protect friends as well.
	Frostmourne () Abaddon strickens an enemy with Frostmourne's chilling power on each attack, causing all units who attack the slowed enemy to gain 10% increased movement speed, along with faster attack speed, for a limited time. Level 1 - 10% increased attack speed, slows enemy by 5%. Level 2 - 20% increased attack speed, slows enemy by 10%. Level 3 - 30% increased attack speed, slows enemy by 15%. Level 4 - 40% increased attack speed, slows enemy by 20%. Mana Cost: N/A Cooldown: N/A Comment: Your 2nd best skill, a perfect weapon/armor. Use it to chase your enemies the attack speed is very useful and the slow effect is great. If you´re chased, hit them and escape.
	Borrowed Time (B) When activated, most negative buffs will be removed and you will no longer take damage for the duration of the ability. If the ability is not in cooldown, it will passively activate when your hitpoints drop below 400. Level 1 - Lasts 3 seconds. Level 2 - Lasts 4 seconds. Level 3 - Lasts 5 seconds. Mana Cost: N/A Cooldown: 45 seconds at all levels Comment: A very powerful skill, can be used to escape and can be used to regain health (once activated use apothic shield)

I think to have an early kill, u have to use death coil. Just combine it with apotic shield and you won't get any damage. besides that, when you get at least lv 7, you can get instant 125 HP healed by combining death coil, apothic shield, and borrow time. So may be that's better to take Death Coil in the beginning.

Death coil is good when you have aphotic shield and a good hero finisher, esp when the hero is running away.

FF_Dr@gon i agree with u becuz if u want ur aphotic shield to explode early & damage your enemy try at least having lvl 2 death coil from the start .. :)

The idea is to have a "late" aphotic shield explosion, just before cooldown, so you can use it again inmediatly, and while youre chasing your enemy.

Not a good idea to use on creeps.I tried it but the fact is that you have greater armour and thus u recieve 275 later.Although if u want it for instant damage,you can do this.

if possible, use the aphotic shield to a creep when there is a enemy on your lane! add a radiance to maximize your combo w/ the aphotic shield! and Abaddon is almost impossible to kill dude, try getting damage weapons rather than focusing on your health! cuz abaddon has a lot of strength and the ability Borrowed Time w/c makes him invulnerable!

Best way to get of him is w/ a hero w/ basher, or buying 2 of them. Big weakness for avernus. His only one, if used right. Throw in lothars edge along w/ bashers, and you can do pretty well against him.

death coil is not that great of a skill but that doesn't mean it's useless. use it to heal allies (heros not creeps) for health because you are invincible from the early part of mid game to early or later part of the end. heal them (espescially if stunners) and harass people 2v1. death coil can be used on creeps, i would only do that if you had mega creeps. rather than deny make it stronger to go onto the next wave.

also i find that you can do well with most str hero builds. all you really need is a few items (power treads or boots of travel and the gold gaulnlet thing, something for health (doesn't matter what) and something to get mana back faster).

Best Abaddon guide so far. A few faults though, RoR will be a bit useless. With Borrowed Time, try not to let it auto-activate, but shield, borrowed time, shield. Borrowed time is spammable, no mana cost, and a pretty good cooldown, many people forget this.

Use borrowed time and aphotic shield then use death coil on a friend. You will heal him by 250 and yourself by 125

Well, If you're solo, go Death Coil instead of Frostmourne if you're with an ally in your lane go Frostmourne instead of Death Coil. I think BoT has more use than Treads on Abaddon, as SnY gives good attack speed already. Heart is a very good choice. And I think you should go RoR earlier, as 2 hp regen isn't that great around level 6-10(Usually when you get to your RoR on this item build.)

This strat only works for noobs....
You can't harrass during lvl1 cause you lack mana and the damage is negligible...
People only use potions when they are really hurt dumb@$$!

ZZZZZZZZZZ . . . The item build is a noob's toolbox . . . The only interesting items you mentioned are Treads and S & Y . . . Why don't cha give him a Vanguard, 2 Bashers, Skadi/S & Y, MKB and Radiance/MoM? Good start anyway!

Boots of travel owns. Just teleport the instant your borrowed time activates and if they don't bash, you're set to go. When I play really play for long, I go for a refresher too cause if you are being ambushed even though you have low mana, an extra borrowed time and an apothic shield right after it breaks is very useful. Well, this is if the game gets VERY long like 1:30.

coz if it does,
avenus is not that imba.
but he is still 1 of the best hero.
its kinda easy 2 farm or harrass wit
this hero or even get first blood.

This hero is one of the best defensive heroes... he is hard to die, but hard to kill without farming, once you outfarm him, you can beat him. Anyway, quite detailed guide, pictures would be nice, 7/10

Not a big avernus user but item wise: Armlet covers ur AS to make sure frostmourn pwns and damage also...excellent item and after u can use ur ring to make vlads. Depending on the game u can either go radiance or heart after but armlet is cheap and covers ur damage quite well...with the shield and borrow time ability...u will be fine with armlet also with 30 hp regen per sec.

try using mjolnir with this guy instead of sny. It makes this hero easier to cast chain lightning due to the frostmourne's extra 40% atk spd.

although ur item build is alrite, but i strongly disagree with ur skill build. DEATH COIL IS IMPORTANT (its ur only nuke, u can heal ur teamates AND yourself). Burrowed time is a must be taken ASAP (it can save ur ass)

I think it's a horrible idea to turn abaddon into such a weak late game hero. No HoT or a buriza? You can neither tank nor deal sufficient damage. Abaddon is one of the most flexible heroes in the game as he can make a hero practically invulnerable, and he can heal them as well. So... You are also denying yourself an early game kill since death coil is meant as a finishing nuke. Anyway, at least you mentioned how good abaddon is at harrassing late game. He can do excellent damage with his shield
