The Beast Within.

A few good ideas, but Call of the Wild should definately be in THIS build. You have no slowing items so you really should get the quillboar slow. Matter of opinion, but this is my only suggestion.

since rexxar has a quite hi speed and a slowing skill (quilbeast) a think call of the wild is important since his skill indicates that he is a chaser hero. and fot aspd, butterfly is too extreme! go for hyperstone. nice strat though...

Call of the wild is very important. The Greater quillbeast has a 35% slow: same as maim. Beast rage is USELESS early game. Why? You don't have that much aspd yet. It's better to pump beast rage when your have decent base aspd already. Other than that, this is a good guide.

call of the wild isn't really that good dudes, Primal roar exists to kill. Its either i suck at microing the boar or he just sucks. Hyper maybe better than butterfly. Primal rage saved my skin multiple times against early game melee harrassers. I know this strategy isn't perfect, i didn't really concentrate on doing it. sorry.

Yeah. Some players aren't that good in micromanaging units other than their heroes. *shrug*

Is Cranium Basher and Helm of the Dominator a crucial item for Rexxar?

Mask of Madness is really recomended for this kind hero PARA TULOY-TULOY ANG BAKBAKAN

That's pretty much the same way i build rexxar. However, i strongly recommend that you use call of the wild for two reasons. First of all, melee/agility (tank heroes in general) heroes would be really annoyed by your quillbeast's poison attack,as they wont me able to hit you as much as they want(it can also give you a chance to escape). Furthermore, once you've got satanic you can sacrifice your hawk to get many hp (almost 750 for around 100 mana!! ). Anyway... linkens is a good idea too(although i ussually get it earlier).. but if the other team has got many intellegence heroes, you might wanna go for bkb(combo: wild axes + roar + avatar= intellegnce heroe dead)

yeah, i like to get call of the wild definitely before stats. The boar helps to farm and has the important slow, and the hawk has truesight. It really helps you from being ganked. Other than that, great strat and ideas. Went 11-2 on this build W/o call of the wild, and I found that I could have used CotW a few times.

Well , why isnt a Quillbear that good cuz it slows perfectly so ull slay enemy's real fast even without the Primal Roar so what should i do?

yea seroiusly call of the wild is really useful for hero-killing...especially the quilbeast...his poison attack is cheap

There's one time where my Centaur got beaten up by a Quilbeast, can't get out... man it's wild! I got 3 HoT and 1 Satanic, but still, I lose coz' i was slowed... Damn it's good! Better get it... or else!

Good guide...almost same as mine, but I do not get the helm of dominator, I get vanguard instead. This is to avoid the magic spell like shadow strike. I'm agreed with you that the call of the wild is a bit useless especially after getting your basher.

you definatly need call of the wild for the scoutin with the bird but mainly you need the hog to slow the enemies down for your attacks...i dont really think that butterfly is something you would need for him thought, too expensive when all you need for attack speed is 2300 for hyperstone...

yeah man.. dun add beast rage early on since u do not have a high enuf dps... plus i tink e boar of CoTW is gr8t 4 harassing early on and 4 klling at all times...

i just love his pet especially when it annoys enemies... hehe

Good strat. When Rex is played properly CotW is useless and you do need the Beast Rage because that's an extra hit on the opponent when you harass him. Items are not great; you need a S&Y over linken because it's just a waste on Rex. Tarasque > Satanic also

I've always loved the Beast Master from my first game. My friend chose it but he never played warcraft 3. Then i decided to take over and i just love him! Your guide is excellent and well presented.

Might i add, a heart would look good on him, just for kicks =D LOOOL

i would like to suggest that you add guinsoo to rexxar because it makes rexxar unlimited mana for his skillz and the hex will help alot on the game. and when you have euls in the first you can chase your opponents easily and when your trying to escape. yeah!!!!!

I WOULD LIKE TO SUGGEST THAT YOU ADD GUINSOO TO REXXAR BECAUSE IT MAKES REXXAR UNLIMITED MANA FOR HIS SKILLZ AND THE HEX WILL HELP ALOT ON THE GAME. AND WHEN YOU HAVE EULS IN THE FIRST YOU CAN CHASE YOUR OPPONENTS EASILY AND WHEN YOU’RE TRYING TO ESCAPE. YEAH!!!!!

I think getting Butterfly is stupid, you should save money for something like rapier if the game goes that long because butterfly is 6000! If you want atk speed, i insist in getting mask of madness.

Also, i think i would build my item like this: Power Thread, S and Y, Madness, Buriza, and basher and maybe 1 hyperstone or one more basher because with madness, it would increase your atk speed a lot including your third skill too, madness helps activate the third skill faster and you will get the kill after your ulti

U should not say his Pig/Boar is useless!!
His pig is good for slowing him by 35%!

Guide. They're completely right about the Quillbeast - YOU NEED IT! I agree with Yukinos first comment - Beast Rage early game is worthless due to a total lack of attack speed as you are low level and near-itemless.
And then the guide is also short how all these first generation guides are. Very short.
Its not bad though.

linkens + bfly? unnecessary. basher? not necessary either. there are way more effective builds out there. call of the wild last? umm...its not the pig poison that you want, its the slow. the eagle? huge sight, good for ganking/checking rosh.

Good strat, but i dont agree with the basher because for a good basherstun you need atleast 2-3, so it would be a waste. Like the linkin sphere idea though

But the butterfly suks though. HE IS NO AGI and he has already life steal + stun so no need for avasion.

well the item build n strat are gud....but the skill build.......well i guess call of the wild should not be taken at the last.......it should be taken sm 4,8,10 n 12 or 13......coz the boar gives a lot of help to escape a killing hero...or kill n escaping hero......n the hawk is also a gr8 scout for invisible units........

i really dont agree with this, the pig has unbelievable range plus he has slow making rexxar a better killer, and also in some cases this pig can help you escape certain death =)

Battle fury remeber a thing........!!!

i suggest you use battlefury for easy farming this way you can make your items faster plus, battlefury has regen + mana regen also it has damage for a killing machine!. but you can also use linken for anti spell and stats + it has better regeneration but has lesser damage. its up to you what you will choose

This guide is awesome, you should add a tip for chicken + bottle. The price of the bottle is cheap, for free 300 mana and 600 health. This gives you concentration on PT b4 Persenevarance. The 600 loss isnt bad for such an item

just like others said before, call of the wild, isnt that useless... i take it level 16 up, the slow of the pig saved my life severall times... think about it, then i wouldnt go for butterfly rather than a hyperstone... anyway good guide

This strat is pretty similar to how i play i usually get couple bracers early treads also early i think they are a must i get preservance after that vlads 2 bashers then Bfury. I agree with you though i dont rly like CotW it doesnt rly make the hero i like hawk but hardly use pig. if you have 2 bashers+100% -as from ur move after ulty perma bash is all you rly need. Great strat 9/10

I prefer getting Call of the Wild on level 10, 12 and 13 so it's level 3, which gives the invisible hawk. It's very handy to prevent upcoming ganks because of it's range. After that, get stats, since you don't really need the 4th level of this skill.
