Nice strat I should say. I'm also a Goblin techies (favorite especially in -ar mode) user but I don't put Suicide squad early on. I focus on landmines and stats for mana increase, 1 stasis trap early. I'm a defensive-pusher type. Oh I forgot. LAND MINES can be used for PUSHING!!! When your creeps are piling up near enemy towers, put the mine near or beside the tower. Use 4-6 mines and poof the tower is pushed!! Try to add up SKADI for stats increase plus the frost attack. (i'll post my techies strat as soon as i'm done with). Cheers!!

i just used techies last night and it turned out to be a very loOoOoong game... we won... techies is a very good defense hero... taking advantage of no creeps no attack policy... hehe...

i didnt really like this strat coz it relies on the enemy being stupid. What happens if theyre smart and they no not to follow u? or be led by u and ur allies

you should plant some mines at secret shops especially REMOTE MINES
that has AoE damage
also place some Observer wards that can detect any incoming heros,
AND triger THE REMOTE MINES and be GODLIKE

u keep on planting mines but if ur opponent buys wards or gem then wont u be useless? i mean, the creeps would destroy ur mines! esp remote mines! i suggest u plant mines to barricade all entrances of the secret shop. that would be a better option as u do not allow ur opponent to buy stuff and kills them at the same time (who would put wards at secret shop!?!?!?)

Yeah this hero can be pretty annoying. He can be your best friend and worst enemy. I think this strategy rocks, but it needs a little more polishing and including screenshots of map locations to where to place remote mines would be very helpful.

Nice strat.Though u might want to add eye of skudi increases your low health and a frost attack.For me i usually i pump 1 or 2 times sucide squid then land mines stats as sucide squid is only for early game(can easily get double kills).But overall Nice stratergy.

yah i agree with keane23...what f the enemy buys true sight....u will just end up wasting time...if u plant on secret shops and the player has true sight...i dont think the player is stupid enough to rush and buy w/o destroying your mines....

goblin NOOB if enermy buy geam. he straight away lost.i will try to buy eye of skadi first just to awoid hero buy geam.

how if my enemy has gem of true site and he is ranged,,he can attack my mines ang will not be damaged..tnx

ya ive been using my build for a while and the only thing i have changed is instead of suicide i go mines n stats first and as for the gem ting, ya if they get a gem on range hero u r pretty mch useless excepts for SS but thatws why u have allies who can kill the dude and take gem :D

It doesn't matter if they buy true sight. Anyways no one is stupid enough to another one when they got killed. Considering they have plenty of money or buy wards instead. The mines will only annoy them not to go to your lane. And that would make ganking easier for your team.

the best place to put mines is in your opponent's secret shop creeps don't go there only heroes

because lvl 1 suicide isn't enough to take down a hero at that point. they'be be at full health. at lvl2/3 you can deal around 200 more damage than thier hp, and most heros are weakened to around 75% health or less

Planting mines at the secret shop is good

I just posted my Techies Guide, look for it... umm I can get plenty of kills with lvl1 suicide. You just have to know when to use it. As for wards.. blow up two mines when creeps attack and let the rest sit there and deter the heroes :D

you should also stay away from queen of pain and ESPECIALLY DWARVEN SNIPER

Stay away from HARASSING sniper, but otherwise hes generally an easy target for Suicide. Take it from me. Umm, a final item should definitely be Skadi. More hp and mana etc. And you can finally help your allies in ganking with more than 1550 AOE damage. One hero to AVOID with Techies is Broodmother. Heck, if I plan on picking Techies and just, y'know, wait a second first, and they get BM, I go 'heeeell no' and pick Vengeful or someone else who isn't incredibly weakened by WEBS. Because any smart BM against Techies will Web the whole lane when pushing. And shes pretty hard to Suicide too.

Now u lose gold. 6.43b map makes u lose gold if u suicide witout a kill, but much lesser den being slaughtered by ppl.

hi,nice strat there, I have a question though, when I use Suicide squad lvl 2 to ezalor(keeper of light),i saw that the hero only has 750ish hit point at max,but when i suicide on the hero,it didn't die,it has a little hp left and he doesn't even bother to retreat...may know why this could be happening? i'm thinking that the damage wasn't ignoring enemy's defense so that's why ezalor didn't die that time,but i forgot to watch ezalor's defense so,could you help me up a bit with my question?

Boots of speed right away I disagree wtih. I get clarities and Mantles for mana for mines, but i just check runes for haste/invis/ill (BTW, much funner to go in as a guided missle or as a invis. explotion than waltz in with Boots).

i get remotes at 10 and 11.

Try placing land mine in commonly used paths or where they often gather for a gangbang. They should be more surprised more than you with the Double+ Kill or at least a pawn.
That happens without an effort of keeping track of those mines.
So quickly learn land mines to lvl4

I played usin techies and bought 5 oblivion staffs and a BOT,lol
But surprisingly, HOLY SHIT came pretty fast...

And about the gem thing... um, ain't that what ur suicide is for?? if all else fails, u can still use eul's (while u still have it) and then plant mines under, and when it gets down u go suicide! for the better good!

yeah. i play techies when im lanning cause u can pull off some nasty (and hilarious) combos when u have good communication. bloodstone is techies main item, get it asap.

me am i complete suciudal techie lol ...but i saw my friend with battle techies and it owns WAY more than suicde score 9kills-3deaths omfg hella pro..someone make a walkthrought for battle techies (ps it means no suicide, just lvl and bombs)

hes my fav but he doesn't exactly have true sight and would be focusing one trying to kill heroes in mid-late game. I don't exactly think hes a risk..... can any1 explain? thnx in advance

Cool guide. I just had a few suggestions. If you wanted to get lothars late game, it would be cheaper to get blink dagger, but early on invis is fun with suicide. Also, if the enemy buys wards, buy your own and kill their's. If they get a gem, try placing mines on the crests of the hills on ur side. By the time they see the mines it will be too late for them! Oh, and arcane ring for mines!

HOwever Goblin Techies rocks and his Proximity Mines can probably get first blood if set up properly.

u can also lure an enemy hero in to a crop of mines in the mid forest for a quick kill but only if your fast and there stupid tehcies are best hero ever

Heh. Just used tech. 18-8 stats. One time enemy killed me, other 7 came from suicide. Remote mines, 4 kills same time!

Just use your suicide all the time, and attack enemy with more hp. Then you can have double kills.

Use statis trap middle of remote mines! First enemy will stop, and other from back run close... BOOOM! TRIPLE KILLL...

Sandking is not that scary early game, the trick is place as much land mines as u can in a concentrate area if u know that Sandking is going to for the kill. Then place urself RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of those land mines ===> if he is stupid enough to burrow then that's a kill for u
