cool strat....but how come u still have to max out Retern at lvl 25...since double edge is dangerous to use w/o tarrasque why not alternately max out hoof stomp and return then double edge. Then after buying tarrasque go on with blade mail for easier counter attack....then i suggest buying lothar's edge for easier kill

Hi , not badd a strategy , but certain things i've liked to point out. Return isnt really useful throughout the game, if you wan to ignore double edge , at least get stats. stomp/stats or stomp/edge would be better. Item build wise, blademail only works for meelee heroes, and it doesnt make centaur a TANK, thats what he is. I wouldnt aim a 4k centaur with 5 blademails when thers a 1k bone with a buriza. But say, a centaur with radiance hearts , would be dangerous. I like your HOD , but why no santanic? your item build is way too expensive anyway, and getting blink last is a bad choice.An ideal build would be getting blink at mid game and some survivability. Do not forget, centaur is a TANK. some posters mentioned MKB, imo, radiance is alot better because MKB requires IAS to pull off and centaurs AGI isnt that awesome. Radiance is a direct +40 damage(immolation) to ALL whereas MKB is a 30% 100 damage. In team battles, radiance ALWAYS > MKB .

I max Double Edge ASAP, I just don't USE it without Ult. This way you can combo them ASAP. Strat needs more detail, most decent guides have as much in one area as your early/mid/late/conclusion combined, really.

Isugg3est you got the Hoof stomp + Double edge build. It'll help you get early kills and Return is only useful when you start tanking which what you shouldn't do early game.

What happens if your playing 1 vs 1 with a ranged? Get rid of the blade mails and get what?

IMO, i think you should explain more and add more detail and it wudn't be that boring to read if it was in bullets...

dis guy is the bomb and you definitely own with him.forget hero killing.
get two blade mails and a heart of tarasque and the games over in 30 minute.dont attack the hero.just keep on damaging towers and run back to heal yourself.come back destroy tower and so forth....

but if you into hero killing, this is the speciality.
get dagger of escape first thing.
upgrade double blade and stomp to the max.
teleport to low hp heroes even those who are standing near towers.
teleport stomp one or two hits and then double blade.

this build is average to me..i wouldn't suggest blade mails..what more 2.. unless ur up against a field of melee heros. this hero should get 2 hearts..and maybe the divine-burizza combo..crits over a thousand.. anyways... centaur owns..

You should probably mention that you should only by a blade mail or 2 if the enemy heroes are reliant on their melee attackers.. By not mentioning it, you're saying: "In a 5v5 -apem when the other team is 5 ranged heroes, buy 2 blade mails."

Other than that, not to bad.

return is bad.. dont get it. early game, double edge- hoofstomp allows you to kill. mid game onwards, return is quite useless since the return damage is physical, which means it is reduced by armor. midgame onwards, str heroes have tons of hp coupled with decent armor so return will do nothing. agi heroes have high armor so return will be reduced to about 50% or more. int heroes dont actually hit you with physical atacks throughout the game.
hence, DE + HS is better early game, and stats are beter than return midgame onwards.
about item build, the only thing i agree with is dagger. centaur's spells tells you he's a tank yet you turned him into a "dps" hero. sigh... maybe i should make my own guide to centaur...

The general item build is correct, but dagger early game + 2xbracers is a must have. Skills should max hoof stomp and edge. The blink dagger kills early game will help you fund yourself to become the tank he should be late game and play the support role. Overall, not bad.

ok so i wanted to play centaur in a dota game recently and wanted to try this build the oposing team only had one melee and it was magi so the feedback and chain maisl were a bit useuless so heres the build i went for

i started out with geting bracers and boots of speed i then upgraded to BoT i then went for MoM while geting 2 gaunlets of str before i got bashers i got a blink dagger it was geting near mid game and i was dooing fairly good with only a few kils but no deaths afer the blink dagger i got 2 bashers i was then owning up all the squishys and to finish the game i got a black king bar to render them useless with there spells and pew pewz all over there face

this build worked perfectly agaisnt all casters and even with only one or 2 melle in a a game 2 chainmails is a litle bit too much

More effective:
Bracer
Vanguard
Blade mail
messerschmidt's reaver
(split the vanguard, make tarresque)
use the RoH and make a battle fury

and then whatever you like. With the innate str bonus he gets from his l6 skill, its a waste not to spread it around with a bfury. that, combined with the return/BM kickback means any creep that touches him will die.

i'm just telling you,,blade mail isn't the priority item,it only works for the melees.why don't u change helm of dom with M.O.Madness?it will make him a powerful killing machine.just use his 1st skill than use M.O.M and BAM!!BAM!!Double EdgE and it dies..Coz this hero deals a MAMMOTH damage..or mybe u need Quirass..bwehw just kidding.

Not too bad, but i'd say Helm of Dom/Santanic before HoT though, in battles between you and enemies, if you have that 40% lifesteal, you can probably own your enemy. Also, very importantly, Blade Mail is only useful when going against Melee damage, meaning, you don't get blade mail all the time, its no use for nuker + ranged, so in that case, you should add a few things on what to buy and do for these ranged + nukers... chances are though, most games have ranged, which = no return damage for u... nice guide though but not enough detail 7/10

I read your strats and i'd say they're good ones. talking abt helm of dominator,i'd prefer Mask of Madness.u can kill any enemy hero one-on-one even if it's 2 lvls ahead of you early in the game : hoofstomp + click MoM. the next thing u see after u do this is that your enemy tries to run to recover.

i agree madness not dominator and lots od tarasque(if clinkz is your enemy, no matter his damge is great he'll get killed by your return)

i did to this hero is farming at lvl 1 my items are 4 ancient and strout shield but it nids help after lvl 4-5 because your tango will be used after lvl 3. the help will be provided of my co-hero/teammates like omni/necro/warlock or hero that have a heal skill etc...or using of bottle that they bought so tipid db hehehe. lvl 10 is reaver or whatever the help provided of your teammates. the more heal/help given the fast of farming will you did. then if you have tarasque next is dagger and the next thing you do is stop farming.and gangbang to the opponent with your teammates bec, you have already increased hp and a dagger.
its up to you what others item will you buy.
the problem is...
having farming of lvl 1 your opponent will be given an idea to gangbang you asap to stop earning your gold. because farming is the fastest earning gold by early/late games. so be careful while you farming always check your map to avoid to be ghost hahahaha. i tryed this many times with my brothers sometimes success. theres a time not bad performance. sometimes is failed. bec. your opponent are always in your farming area to gangbang you. why? because you are not seen in the map ever since nyahahahaha. if your opponent not to gangbang you asap you will be successed. like jacu........nyahahahaha

i tried this build on several 5v5 games. this item build is not effective. it's only good because it has satanic. the following week we played in a local tournament, i randomed brad and i got boots, 2 bracers, crystalis and MoM on level 9. level 13, i had radiance. i'll give you 6/10 for your strat.

i feel double edge should be maxed as soon as possible. So we can do kills easily. first fight and when his life is low and he is about to run or kill us so use stomp and as soon as stun is over use double edge and we will do a kill. Still i give 6/10

and why return lvl4 on 25? hehe it helps alot in your farming... together with radiance its like you get all the creep money! and stick to a build since you plan to max out Stats then focus on it.. dont put anything to retutn unless lvl21-25... much better i think...

kelen radiance HoT and BoT is all you need... satanic if game drags on... BF good too and Assault Cuirass but too pricey to build so focus on your staying power! and dont forget to escape when you need to..

if you want a cheap build/staying power in early games just buy as many helm of ironwill as posibble... just upgrade one to dominator... hehe this is a pesky build by itself already... pretty cheap too... watch youre enemy drool!

2 heart of tarrasque on lvl 16 makes his hp 8500.

IRYO90: I've been completley owned by Huskar in 1vs1 with centaur and I've also completely owned centaur with Huskar after having been owned. The thorns become useless after Huskar is regenerating more than 50hp/sec with vitality and his IAS and damage combined with life steal, centaur doesn't have much of a chance, even with hoof stomp or double edge.

your guide a lil wrong... as a tanker, it's better to ma return... helping your teammates to deal extra dmg is extremely important. the only time when u dont max return is when against nukers, int heros like crystal maiden or etc... maxing stomp, return first is better... i would give 4/10 for this guide...

worst enemy of brad would be heavy nukers since your return dont work on them... but even so, can be dealt easily with just a HoD...

i suggest return for lvl 1... cause if the heroes are most likely to hit you...you have return and you can tank while in lvl 1 with return

you should upgrade the helm of dominator to satanic and replace bracer w/ radiance

I think its best for bradwarden the 6 plate mails build.it gives you armour.then sell 1 for a voidstone!

OMG. My whole team got totally pwned by a centaur with SnY and an extra Yasha. There was no escape. His aspd was surprisingly fast too.

helm of dominator is not good with centaur, one HoT and Assault cuirass is enough, you can count blademail too

You know, if you really are bored with the usual satanic and blademail bulids, make a MANTA STYLE one. It would be only for fun and that would be really scary... three tanks comin' to get you (if you're bored)

Get MoM instead of helm. During the stun period of hoof stomp, you're gonna want to cram in as many hits as possible before using double edge. Another thing, swap bracers for nulls. I find it alot more useful early game since you'll be able to harrass more with hoof stomp.

The new Amulet thing is ownage for brad and I would on;y suggest 1 point in Double Edge earlygame because u won't have the health or mana to spam it and lvl 1 is enough to finish off fleeing heroes (with its 200 range)

Double edge should be learnt early. U said u have too less hp to cast it but the enemy will have less hp early too.

BoT, cuirass, battle fury, double heart and s and y are teh ultimate items for him

i think it needs improvement, i dont like it so much the guide is too short...

i believe this guide needs to be updated, because it may not be able to comply to ever changing maps of DotA

Hmm, I would boost stomp, stats and fortitude first followed by double edge when i have more than enough HP to spare.

Brad's weakness? He lacks speed.

the best centaur are aghanims and refresher and a lots of null talisman and 3 boots of travel, ultimate idiot hero!!

Any permabasher with lifesteal can kill Bradwarden easily, even when brad has blademail. So i wouldn't say he's unkillable.

on 1on1(all melee) game the only hero can stop him is urza but still centaur will win because of push.. try leoric or other hero that has high hp & armor but my bet will always centaur.. Arubarak has advantage against it but centaur is the best 1on1(melee only)

first ov all u dont always blade mail it all depends on the heroes ur facing..
get S&Y instead of the helm and another heart instead of the blade mail and b/F.
blink dagger is always a handy item especially if u dont hav boots

WHEN I PLAY A 5V5 GAME,I GOT HIM AND LUCKY I FACE 2 MELEE HEROES,I MAX UP MY RETURN AND GET A BLADE MAIL,
THEY HATE ME SO MUCH.

man fortitude and hoofstomp is the most helpful skills of this hero...just get two vanguard + 2 blademails that's all you need man you can add dagger so that you can still kill heroes if they are on the run just add radiance for your damage..

just give him 4 Helm of dominator, boots>>travel , radiance, HoT, = owning!
