I am the First yeah its a very very very goood strat!!!!!
Keep on writing strategies
other than the thing i just told you about (work it out for yourselves people) its very good.
giving it a 10.
wow.. i like this build more than mine. i usually get 2 battle fury's but seing the butterfly and mkb, it makes it a much tougher spider. 10/10. awsome strat!
Nice Job ! I have nothing to say
!
10/10 !
Finally a Good Broodmother guide. No offense to the people who made one.
I loved it!
Dun ever under estimate the power of the spiderlings!
They can be considered one the best pushers!
10/10
After just becoming a broodmother player, i found your guide which was quite nicely made. The only things i would like to add:
You keep saying that Insatiable Hunger is your ultimate source of survivalbility but if so, you don't go pump your attack as much as one would. It looks like you wanted DPS more than DP20S so i belive a buriza and a eaglehorn is better than two. Becuase as you stated, Spider is a dps hero but i don't think any more IAS is neccessary, eaglehorn+buriza is usually enough but for more go for MKB also and maybe even a Radiance.
Also, i find that your spider would have a little troubles with spamming mana. So i would put a Linkin's Orb in.
Finally i know naturally this guide is nearly perfect (better pictures makes it 10/10. Oh and yes, i'm a critic, the guy who says everything that's bad and brings it to the highest attention and barely mentions what's good
) Kelen's Dagger is still a dagger; it's one of the best items in the game and though an escape isn't neccesary. It can still be a huge boost for an extra slot for attack an opponent. Oh and don't forget, with the invisibility, slow, AND a blink, you could pull of huge mind games.
-Kakisho, Broodmother User #1973869492
great strat its better than the other broodmom strats...keep up the gj!
Great strat, 10/10. Just one question though: If you calculate the damage of buriza vs. butterfly with your item build (minus one butterfly)+stats/lv25 base damage which is better?
@Kakisho
butterfly gives better DPS because of the IAS
Kakisho. Make up your mind your cant buy everysingle thing in the game. this is a good strat. keep it up
nice image..
Well...great guide 4 broodmother...de reasoning of u getting butterfly 1st cmpared 2 buriza is de 1 tat attracts my attention...i usually gt MKB 1st...bout dagger of escape...i agree tat in most cases..its necessary 4 escape or even initiate a gank..but of course tis item is only situational...core item comes 1st
nice guide...
but i notice sth missing....u failed to mention bout neutral creep farm v ur spiderlings nad spiderites..
u also missed a tiny detail of spiderites can be used as a scout too...de spiderlings n spiderites role r nt complete..so i hope u don mind...im giving 9/10
it doesnt mean its a lousy guide, don gt me wrong...ders stil room 4 improvement
Good Job, this is almost exactly how I play Broodmama.
Can not ignore this any longer...
@ drew = that was less than two weeks. Cheers.
@ kakisho = interesting points. Vlads is enough to spam for me usually. Blink Dagger... mind games aren't really cost effective - 2150 to make them pissed off at not finding you, well, they're already pissed off I say. 'Not pumping my attack but my DPS', well... the lifesteal is based off but DPS as well. You do 1000 in ten seconds, you get 60% of that, thats 600. Whether you did that damage because you attacked 30 times in there or because you do 500 a hit, doesn't matter.
@ chimp_magi = the ratio is the same as you grow larger and more powerful. I just picked out the logical status you would have upon getting one of the items. Compare the differences between Hunger and no Hunger, then you can tell how much difference there'll be.
@ rogol-a-nator = sigh. I didn't mention this due to it being largely irrelevant to the guide, but the middle game section deleted itself twice. I lost the whole thing. When I retyped it, I forgot those bits because I was still under the assumption there were there. Or it was more like, OK, I need this this this and this, done. Patchy, throw back all the important bits, forget details. I promise to put those back properly once I update this, which is soon due to the calculation error Ghost has informed me of.
@ muffcateer = You. Scum. Weren't you that idiot who hosted a game trying to join the clan and I left because it was so laggy that I couldn't do anything? And decided not to 1v1 you for my SHAMAN STATUS (like someone who just joined can take over a Shaman spot, idiot) because you were unworthy and nobody liked you, and 1v1 is STUPID?? And you held me in total disregard from then on? And left before we could kick you out?
Do you have a valid point to make here or do I call the mods on your ass? And... 'a life'? You play as well retard... just because you don't give anything to the DotA community makes you so much better than hard-working people? Get outta here.
@ everyone else = thanks for commenting. Glad someone likes this. Proves sanity in humans.
Lol... has responded to a post that is no longer there... cheers Orochi? Touch fire get burned?
lol, nice guide, different item build 2 me, but roughly the same playing style. One more thing u might want 2 add to her 'heroes to watch out for list', pudge, u might think u hav him on the run, but his combo is all about wat u fear, lots of dmg in a small time frame. Not 2 mention he is generally a hero that can go 4 a gem, and will go 4 wards to counter u. Anyway nice guide, well organized. 10/10.
Nice guide shimrra_3, i like your guides, they're useful. I usually pump web and bite first cause i dont need spawn spiderling skills to kill. But after reading your guide, I realise theres another skill build. Cheers, Shimrra_3
damm i never got to read that comment. but yes i know that guy...
BURNNNN
Its a very good strat, but i prefer Buriza before Vladmirs..
Buriza helps loads with kills, and i think Radiance isnt that bad.
Butterfly ftw.
Truely, an awesome strat.U've basically contained everything i would wanna kno about this hero and u've inspired me to pick Brood for the first time EVER. =p.
And ur replay... spiderlings... !ROFL!
Hey, good job in getting your guide posted. The skill build is good I won't argue with that so I'm gonna comment on your items.
You underrated buriza on brood mother, she benefits from criticals more than an MKB late game. Buriza > MKB late game and by that time you won't really need the ministun since a few crits can easily kill a hero before he can finish channeling TP. BTW Buriza is better than a second butterfly IMO.
Headdress is a bit unnecessary, it barely improves your spiderling's survival rate and delays
you butterfly.
Radiance isn't that horrible, sure it reveals your location but competent players would already ward your webs in the first place and Radiance can also help you push faster.
BKB to me should be a core item, the only thing that can stop brood mother from right clicking a hero to death is a simple storm bolt. BKB can more or less ensure a kill making it worth it's cost, and from my experience I rarely have a game without disablers.
Finally Boots of travel on brood isn't that bad, brood is the fastest solo pusher so a boots of travel can help her push multiple lanes easily.
aah an excellent brood mummy guide..... lol... you made me wanna play her so bad.... haha....
perfect guide?
A lot of effort has gone into this strategy, for that I'd say 10/10. I'm sorry to say this, but web and nuke isn't broodmother's best skill combination. Try stats and bite. If you have good timing and micro skills combined with as many wraiths as possible, you don't need mana regen and you can get kills without your ulti.
finally someone who respects earthshaker
i use es a lot, and technichelly speaking, you wouldnt even be able to see him coming if he is smart enough to buy blink, so run if he is not on the minimap
oh yeah great guide 10/10
@ mangoman = yes I should add Pudge. I was summarizing disables though.
@ 27Luna = I suppose Vlads doesn't need to come right after Butterfly. In fact, I often get something else first (depends on how much gold I have when I next look after the Butterfly). The thing is I find Vlads to be neat for the finishing touch to your ownage - Butterfly is ownage enough, finish the game! But yes, if its not ending that soon, get a Buriza/MKB/Heart first.
@ fwii~ = good points, fair enough. I will remind you though that the MKBs are my personal build beyond the initial core build I specify; thats not everyone's choice, so be it, as long as they get the initial items.
But yes, Buriza probably is better than what I put in there. The perma-ministun is quite amusing though. Reminder again, I did mention Buriza as 'probably a good item to get' and 'I consider Buriza a luxury item'.
Headdress, not overly necessary; its just one of my quirky items I always get - that it helps the minions (not much, no) is bonus.
Radiance, I stand my my opinion that Radiance on windwalkers is really just asking for it, but again you're right if they're smarter than a rock they will get some wards and mow you regardless, so the Radiance doesn't screw you over. I think having crits or ministun is more helpful than the immolation though.
Black King Bar - possibly deserves a mention in the initial core build, but the problem is so many people just skim that section and scream at you without acknowledging what you're saying about the item. I did put a note of that in the end of the mid game section, the one labeled 'Alternate Build'. The thing is, its like getting Blademails - you don't always need it.
What else did you put in there... ah, Boots of Travel. Again thats just another of my personal choices. If you want BoT, so be it. I just find I need the attack speed more so than the move speed, as the enemies can't really move much anyway. And I like how it is rushable (BoT takes some skilled farming).
@ Grace_of_God = the thing with that is that you don't need to do things without Hunger very much, considering its miniature cooldown and mana cost. And not getting Web leaves you very open to ranged harassing. And then you can't farm because you have no minions.
@ everyone else = again, thanks for commenting.
Reminder, I will update this soon so tell me what I've missed etc, quick. Multiple updates makes me annoyed.
Effing huge comment... fingers hurt...
@ darksun = god damn you for posting while I posted. Lol. Yes, ES is your very worst enemy.
real nice strat shimra loved it!!!
Hey Shim u need 2 change a few things
a. since treads needs one of the 450 gold items you can now get a robe of magi early to help with that lack of mana.
b. Vlads now needs a RoR sigh u gotta add that in to.
ohh yeah and whenever u kill somone with "Spawn Spiderlings" you need to shout out HAVE MY BABBIES
cya on bnet Shim
ohhh btw nice guide lol
Can you post screen shots of some suitable places to place the webs for the 3 lanes
I love you :D 10/10!
looks like im your 1st critic.....
i like the style of guide and the pictures and all that but your item build made me sick........ if you buy a vlads with bm it really doesnt help her at all it does give lifesteal to your spiders but spiders dont neeed lifesteal there little damage makes them gain about nothing per attack.... radiance is probaly the most important item for bm you say she doesnt need things for creeping becuase of spiders but earlier in your buide you say you can buy a battlefury which is a creeping item.... i agree with butterfly and treads and heart... consider buying a mkb bar with her with radiance and bit you do insaine damage and gain insaine life back you already attack fast with bm already fast attack speed and treads... try it out and you will see how it works....... it might just be that we difer in style of play.... good guide overall like i said before i like the outline and the stat build..
Excellent guide,congrulations dude.
There is only one thing I can suggest:Buy a Vanguard or Black King Bar since Broodmother's biggest weakness would be her poor HP and being stunned/disabled when you use your ulti.
how i can kill the sentry wards that arent in my web? i cant see them every time :(
someone knows what he is talking about so this has to be 10/10
that took me hours to read jackass
how i can kill the sentry wards that arent in my web? i cant see them every time :(
You've covered absolutely everything!!
That's all I can say!
Ow,and mah rating >_>.
10/10 ofc!
Nice one... You know, I owe you a game today...
There I was at the cafe, waiting for a match and decide to check ds... This comes up... I read... I think, I should play spider... I won...and owned.. xD
So, from experience, it works, nice item build, especially nice skill build, and...the spiderling kills...no comment... it's just too much
Although, I forgot (totally) the Headress, and IMO, you don't need it at all... As you said, your main survivability tactic is lifestealing, not regen, so... (oh and... I particularly like how every neutral camp becomes a fountain late game...)
Very good strategy, with some nice overall tips on how to use the skills and all... And yeah..spider rocks... (she's the closest thing to the old N'aix we have now...)
Nice job ;)
10/10
nice job, good to know theres still ppl with common sense using bm,i see so many noobs putting lil spideyzilla down the drain again
o yea 4got to ask something..when im broodmother i ussually go with some wraiths cuz str gain is pretty nice AND webs are cool..next i ussually get powertreads, bkb (guarnteed hk with ult)butterfly and buriza can some1 give me some input plz?
I saw the replay, your enemies were kinda noobish and you didn't farm well till midgame.
But those spiderling kills were awesome! They were locked! Why didn't thejust killed one and got out I wonder . . .
My build is treads, vlads, double basher, butter and buriza. Very similar. Oh, I think maxing out IB earlier than SS is a bad idea, I eman it gets situational kills for you, but %40 movespeed is deadlier than 300 damage imo.
BTW, in the replay, the webs were WAAAAY too close. But still awesome! 2 minion kills :D:D
(L) your guide!
10/10
one of the best in DS
congrats man
10
Hmmm neat guide again Lol i havent posted guides for almost 3 months maybe i should continue my work anyways good guide again
Ursa is one of the heroes u should REALY fear.U activate ur ulti and he jus activates overpower and guess who will kill who.And why is everyone so amazed by the brood's nuke it's good(300dmg) and stuff but it isnt essential
What a guide!!
Nice Screenshot you got there man!!
keep creating strategy!!
@irondacha
nope. Think of it, Broodmother has big str gain each lvl, so its hp would be big enough to take 5 consecutive attacks of ursa, and when the broodmother is being attacked, it also regain hp from lifestealing.
Heh, converted Life to DS... muwhaha. I think I'm going to acknowledge you for the name - I-Win Button was just too good to pass up.
@ TheJuggernaut = seems odd that my itembuild 'makes you sick' - you vilify Vlads and agree with the rest of the build lol... Vlads now has 15% damage buff not +16, that makes it a bit more useful (not that I've gotten to a stage where it gives me more than 16, business as usual).
@ Millenium = optional BKB build is there. Its a tad hard to see. I find it slows the Butterfly a load.
@ lapuch = get your own wards. The only people to put wards inside your Webs are idiots.
@ looneytunes = that build is fine. I just think that Wraiths slow the main build, as does BKB (which you get only when you really need it).
@ SlwaBluPhnx = I wasn't paying much attention to the Webs in that game lol. And yes, they were idiots, but it was the only replay I'd saved of Spider (amusing how many Techies replays I had) at the time. And 17-0 and good pushing and optimal minion use is worth showing, even if its against people you could kill with standard WC3 heroes with max level 10.
And that was three minion kills if you count that last-hit on PotM.
@ irondacha = as already said, Spider is just tank enough to survive the amazing 5-hit kill move: then Hunger kicks in and Ursa gets wiped off the face of the earth - and this is assuming that Ursa manages to attack before Spider does!
And Spawn Spiderlings... I've said already that its more than a nuke. Nuke and pushing/farming tool - the sooner you have this the better.
Update checklist: Butterfly calculation, further minion use (neutral farming and scouting), Life into credits, Ghost into credits. Reminders please if I have missed anything.
Thanks for commenting.
Damn it, another gigantic comment that made my fingers hurt.
please create a strategy for phantom lancer...I don't know how to use this guy in the game...
Great guide.
I have to disagree with some of the things you said though. First i don't think spawn spiderlings should be gotten so early. Spider does not have the mana to waste on anything else but his ult and webs. Also using this spell to farm is just great in fact too great. You can wipe out waves and knock over towers to fast. THAT IS NOT FARMING THAT IS PUSHING AND IS COUNTER PORDUCTIVE. There is a big difference, when you push you will not be getting the money you will if you "farming" after the towers are knocked over like in your screen shots you can't go back to that lane to farm for along time (do to ganking from being so up in the lane) loosening money and xp. The best way to farm is to stay in one spot and kill all the creeps and deny so the wave doesn't move. Using the spiders for natural creeping while you stay in the lane is a much better idea for the reason above and also, you will not be giving your opponent any more xp or gold, but you will get loads more gold.
The other thing i disagree with is not getting Radiance. I do like butterfly and often get it after radiance. You said "The Immolation reveals where you are in your Webs." You do have a aura item with Headdress of Rejuvenation so your location will be given away. It is a better item for chasing as you will be able to damage them while they are running and you are slowing them, if you get stunned you will still be giving damage. You can’t always keep attacking them in you get blocked or stunned, or they simply out run you, you can still deal a good amount of damage with this item. It is something I pick up; both items are good it’s up to you.
I really like this strategy. Just one comment, against non-nukers and stunners it may be desirable to max out the bite before spiderlings, just to get some early kills. Usually works well for me. lvl 6 you got a 30% slow and that lovely extra dmg that will destroy any agil heros no problem. What is your opinion?
Anyway nice guide, ive been a fan of your other 2 strats, nice to have a third. 10/10
No questions about Skill build, that's the usual way and almost everybody (brood users) does that sequence of skill build. You know what, we have exactly the same order of skill build.. Item build is what attracts me, 2 butterfly??
Aren't you satisfied with one butterfly? Instead of building a second butterfly, Why not use the money for toughing item like assault cuirass or radiance for easy triples. You marked a comment about assault cuirass that it will reveal your aura while hiding in the web as well as radiance.. Why do you need to worry about dying that you still need to hide in your web?? C'mon you already have big items plus you have allies to help you why hide?? I believe they couldn't take you down with your current item build
Okay, you say just for defensive purpose hiding in the web, what if someone bought a gem and 2-3 people ganked you, sprayed all their skills on you. You can take down atleast one or two of them even triple kills if you have radiance or assault coz your lifesteal is crazy plus toughness and ias from assault.. or if radiance, emolition hurts them all.
No offense bro..... Just a comment on the 2nd butterfly.. Well, it's your personal build and I respect it
Evidence is 17-0
that compliments it, no other words to say. Be proud of it..
Overall 5 stars and 10/10 for your guide and tremendous effort
Nice replay there. Have you tried the jungling skill of brood?? She's better than bristleback when it comes to jungling. in 10 mins you can have radiance
Good guide...BUT
You are so concerned about getting items that reveal your location (if you're in the web) but you have a Headdress of Rejuv. in your build?
Other than that, excellent. Very informative. I would've liked to see an alternative strat to holding a top or bot lane.
Not flaming but criticizing, therefore you deserve my response...
Radiance and Cuirass: I just like being able to sneak up on people. If I have the Radiance, they'll know where I am instantly and either run or call in allies. Cuirass I simply think is more suited to tanking heroes or ones who desperately need more armor. Spider has a fairly good agility gain and therefore armor gain, plus one or two Butterflies' (getting to that) armor bonus, plus Vlads armor bonus. Hell I got a new reason, the Cuirass bonus doesn't totally stack with Vlads does it... anyway the armor isn't needed for Spider, and the attack speed is basically that of a Butterfly, except a Butterfly also adds damage.
Headdress also reveals me, thats correct. I get Headdress on a unbelievable amount of heroes - the ones I leave out are typically windwalkers. Spider? Well yes... whats the main tactic I use for my ambushes? Is it not coming from behind, where there are reeeally not likely to be allied creeps?
Pushing vs farming: I say, if you make your lane larger, it gives you more space to ambush people from. Its to THEIR disadvantage: because you've covered the place with Webs, you can't be ganked without Truesight items (at least you can put up a fight then) but THEY can be ganked ANYWHERE and be reeeally far away from a tower. It also means you can neutral creep until their creeps form a massive wave, then rush back, Spawn in a massive wave of creeps, get a huuuge amount of minions, and proceed to mow everything in the next three to five waves - thats a LOT of gold. And the towers give your entire team gold. If everyone pushes their lane's tower quickly, the whole side just gained 600 each. Thats worth opening yourself up a bit.
@ Primne07 = http://www.dotastrategy.com/view_strategy.php?ident=1629&action=add
Copy that and paste it into the browser window. In future please search guides?
Yes, pushing is good with her... The only problem is when you get an enemy Earthshaker... Good bye push, good bye you...
I dunno, everytime I decide to play spider, somebody thinks it would be funny and picks ES... I hate it, I've never been able to actually push hard early lol
"You don't need farming items. You can get 60 damage off a Butterfly. And the Immolation reveals where you are in your Webs."
Just quoting that from the radience, erm, ur getting RoB neways, so they know ur there.
-.-
Hello, I would like to mention you have highlighted the importance of lane control. However, although you say it is important you do not suggest any consumables. A ring of regeneration does not provide such efficiency as a Tango. Also the expense is not as much. You have also not mentioned anything on survivability, if you are up against high leveled players in a scrim would you not focus on your survivability before your dps?
If you have not seen the MYM prime Nations, in a match between Singapore and Korea, iceiceice, a professional SG player got a Mekanms and Eul Sceptre. The mekanms provided the essential survivability aspect for both spiderlings, creeps and heroes. He also used the cyclone to advance on the cyclone hero with his mass spiderlings to surround the hero, therefore they could not escape.
Just some thoughts I wanted to discuss.
A good read btw, and thanks.
Referring to comment 17. Why afraid of a 1 v 1? Shamen Status proves nothing in DotA. If you are dominant in lane control and last hitting, you shouldn't fear 1 v 1. Some upper clans require an insight in a 1 v 1 to examine their lane control etc... ... A 1 v 1 isn't stupid unless its an 'em' game.
fwii thanks i realised something.
"Headdress is a bit unnecessary, it barely improves your spiderling's survival rate and delays
you butterfly.
Radiance isn't that horrible, sure it reveals your location but competent players would already ward your webs in the first place and Radiance can also help you push faster. "
Shimrra_3 Headress also reveals your location, and doesn't provide a stronger lane control if you do not purchase survivability items.
Cyclone along with purge also cancels your ultimate. ^^
hemlock.: confine your comments to one post please. And I'm not in league games and neither are most other people.
vendetta003: make a better guide if you think you're so good. Reasons for lack of Radiance have been explained. And I for one have NEVER SEEN SPIDER GET IT. So GET OUT.
Hmmm a somewhat interesting guide, but I find that you also neglect some key weaknesses of BM. She has a very low initial health pool and it seems you totally disregard this by saying that webs will protect you. Some initial str items would most definately serve BM well in surviving against nukes. Also you state somewhere in your guide that you can farm a WHOLE butterfly in 10 mins? I would appreciate watching a replay in which you do this. A 5/10 for the effort
Rhialto
nice strat, should try em..
Great comment!!!
thanx for the response, and as far as radience goes, i realy dont see to many spiders get...with the roughly the same gold you can get a diffrent dmg item (immolation wont amount to shit after 30-40 mins cept on creeps you can kill in..what.3 hits?
I love this strategy :)
I used it today and was godlike in both games
Using the I-Win Button i got a triple kill even though i got sundered by blade.
Recommend that this is the way to play :)
@Rhialto = and yet you gave him a 1. lol.
@everyone: No flaming plz, constructive criticism and suggestions are always welcome.
Only when I read this guide did I realize that Broodmother is imba. Good STR and AGI gain, nuke, summons, super buff, passive orb. I got to try her. Love the guide, hate the critics. Guides today have lost the spark which this guide has.
@those who say she does not have early survivability:
You have INVISIBILITY, unless your enemy bought sentry wards/gem early game, this keeps you safe, not a lot of heroes can go almost perma-invis early, and they have to use clarities. Not to mention the health regen.
@those who says she needs radiance:
Spiderlings and spiderites make an already effective pushing machine.
@those who have trouble with ES:
While your minions push, stay back around 600 range.
@Shimrra_3:
Put screenies of webbing top and bottom lanes. How about more of spiderling micro/tricks?
Do you agree with early push with spiders?
How about spawning spiders in one lane, going to another lane and push it with spiders, TPing to another and doing the same.
10/10, I see room for improvement.
shimra I can't confine all my points when I find egregious errors as I examine your guide more, sorry for the inconvenience. But, I do have the liberty to know the variables and circumstances I should consider when playing Brood at a higher play. If your not going to discuss merely because you do not play league games nor because I did not confine my comments, how can I understand the aspects of this hero in higher level of play? 8/10
Scary spiders! I'll gonna use this in the future! I like your guide. Its explains well. At least I have an idea too how to counter broodmother! AXE!
Thanx Shimrra_3 for making a guide on spider babe! This is the one I've been expecting!
@ rambol: Come now, "Hate the critics"? Thats hardly fair, without us critics the author would see no reason to improve their guide, you should be thanking us for contributing to the guide. I also disagree with your justification for not getting early game survivability. "You have INVISIBILITY" are the words you use. Am I to assume that your just going to sit in your web while the enemy has their control over your lane? Also, the cloaking period is somewhat substantial and you could be hit by any number of bad things.
Matter-of-factly, Rhialto
@Rhialto: Am I not allowed to have emotions like hate? Try reading the early game section on what to do while laning. And what is your definition of lane control? Besides, don't double post.
@ rambol: I think your views are misguided, I never said I had trouble early game as BM, I was was merely pointing out the fact the early game survivability is important, and being the helpful individual I am, even suggested how to fix this problem.
Indifferently, Rhialto
Wow
@Rhialto:
Like I said, you have invis for early game survivability. Also, it wouldn't hurt to have a lane partner.
The guide clearly tells you to undertake mid solo. Judging and giving constructive criticism has nothing to do you with emotions. If emotions were to measure how good a guide is, I might as well befriend every admin in this website to get my guide a 10/10.
Rhialto is taking about lane control. If your in a non em game are you to stay in your web whilst your enemy farm and denys your creeps? I believe at least two bracers are necessary for survivability.
Without critics, there would be no suggestion of amelioration to inherent flaws of human.
as per usual
excellent guide
There is multiple definition of lane control. Go watch some MyM pride. Lane control wouldn't matter in em games lol.
error in my above comment. There is NO multiple definition of lane control. Go watch some MyM pride. Lane control wouldn't matter in em games lol.
forgot the word 'no'
Wow. Ridiculous strat! 10/10. Love your writing style. Everything was very informative, esp. the item build. I used to go sny or mom, but no longer
You might wanna consider redoing those screenshots if you're really bored.
Very comprehensive, cannot rate this highly enough, 5 stars.
But he does have a point. 2x Butterflys is worthless. Flawed, the evasions don't stack.
nice start
Vladmir's Offering ? why?
my build is pretty different except for the items... I max bite first than spawn spiderling....
I'm not sure how you plan to succeed in killing without any HP items at all in your build... You only begin to make HoT after butterfly..
Every game I play where there is an enemy spider hes quickly destroyed because he gets nuked to hell. Instatiable hunger is great but for 3k you can completely counter this hero (Purge OR eul's). If you don't get bracers chances are your going to get nuked early game for easy kill.
Web's arent lane control, they are just a way of saying "Hey, buy a ward so you can unsuspectedly own me". Sure you can use your webs to try and find the ward but they are cheap enough, they'll get a kill off you which buys back the 2 wards.
I'd say BKB is a core item for spider because without it hes just going to be nuked, purged, eul'd, etc.
Screenshots of you killing Mirana further reduce the credibility of your guide. You say killing blinkers is really hard yet include screenshots of you killing one of the best escapists in the game many times over?
Buriza > butterfly with the bonus damage. Your math equations are incorrect.
At level 16, you'll have 80'sh base damage, 20 from vlads, 90 from bite, with 88% IAS (35% treads and 53% agility).
Bfly: 250 damage 148% IAS
Buriza: 265 damage, 88% IAS, Crit
At those levels bfly is only 31% faster (2.48/1.88) than buriza so you'll have bfly's 31% compared to buriza's 24% from crit. 250*1.31 = 327, 265*1.24 = 328. Buriza is better and cheaper. Buriza also gets better as you get more items/levels, bfly does not, it gets relatively weaker! Evasion? You already have orb miss why do you need double? You said yourself non-nukers and dps heroes are cake so why do you need MORE evasion?
Vlad's for more lifesteal is kind of lame, you have 60% lifesteal with ult whats another 15%? The mana regen is less than that of a sobi mask in mid/late game.
Getting 2 bfly is just noob, better to get HP and better dmg items like buriza.
Sorry, mostly flame there, I'll sort out the bits that are worth listening to...
BKB isn't in the core build because there are plenty of games where it is totally useless. It is the Alternate build - only if necessary.
Wards > Webs. Wowee we know that. But hardly anyone gets Wards? You can change lanes? You can just be cautious? You can murder them first? This isn't a LEAGUE-BULLSH!T-oriented guide, this is for the majority of players - pub games. If you played any, which I doubt, you would agree with me here.
I was going to put Euls in the update, I neglected to mention it because nobody else requested it. I know about it.
Mirana screenshots in this guide are of very difficult kills - the last one is totally impossible. If you watched the replay, which you didn't because you think the entire guide is dumb, you might see how many times she escapes from me or how hard it is to kill her when and if I do.
YOUR calculations, if they are correct, give you an extra ONE on Buriza. BIG EFFING WHOOP. The Evasion stacks with the miss chance for Bite - against single targets, they have a 47.5% chance to miss - rigged as hell.
Vlads counters Purge and Cyclone because you have Lifesteal still even if Hunger is gone.
If you have ever tried getting two Butterflies, I would be very surprised. Give me another set of items for equal price and space that gives the same effect in bonuses.
And you think the GUIDE is inconsistent?? You follow one bit only to discredit another bit? What the hell is with you?
If I've missed anything, feel free to come back so I can own you again.
Hi, thanks for mentioning the Euls. My knowledge on this hero is very vast, but I would still like to seem some survivability aspects. It won't hurt to survive longer in a 5v5 team battle. Could you mention some survivability items for the sake of higher level players?
Survivability items. For higher level players. A thought occurs - higher level players should know?
If you insist... Blink Dagger/Lothars Edge to escape, early Bracers to tank, BKB for spell immunity. Do I really need to put that sort of thing in a guide...
honest question, did some people really not know that broodmother was so good BEFORE reading this guide?
Nice guild dude....
We have the very same item build, except that I don't get 2x Butterfly... I replace it with MKB/Buriza...
...
hmmm.... your skill build is interesting... I might try it sometimes... i max out web and bite first heheh...
Anyways good guide... 9/10!!!
dude!!
ur guide reali awesome!!
But, you haven't considered the factors of other people in public. What if a person can not maintain survivability long enough in battle in public games, you still have to suggest some survivability for these people who have no idea. Are you saying in public games people shouldn't consider survivability items if it's a requisite according to the situation? I'm not advocating supremacy in my knowledge, nor am I fulminating your guide, but rather suggesting you mention his very important aspect people may need in public games.
Excellent Guide, it is getting flamed far more than it deserves.
Buriza > A second Butterfly
It's dps is greater in all stages of the game (if you already have a butterfly) and it's cheaper.
I am a big fan of BKB since your weaknesses are nukers, diasablers and purge. Then all you need to fear are late game permabashers.
I would also skip the headdress but still get the ring early (for vlad's later)
My final build is also totally different to yours, which is odd because my normal playstyle, skill order and items till late game are very similar.
Treads or BoT, Vladmir's, Eaglehorn, Buriza, BKB, Aegis
Re comment 92 rain9441
You do have some good feedback which sadly will probabaly be missed due to your tone.
In regards to the maths power treads are 30ias not 35. Which gives 2.43/1.83=1.327
Butterfly = 250*1.327 = 331.97
Buriza = 265*1.24 = 328.6
So Butterfly wins (by 3.4ish).
With the new agility treads (40ias)
2.53/1.93= 1.310881
Butterfly = 260*1.327 = 340.8
Buriza = 275*1.24 = 341
So Buriza wins (by 0.2ish)
Note I tried to use your maths structure when calculating it. Personally I wouldn't have included vladmir's like you did. It's a flat 15% dps increase so shouldn't affect the outcome.
We could go on calculating it for multiple situations, but they are roughly the same. Personally I feel the 30% dodge is better than easier to assemble components 50 gold and slightly better scaling into late game. The dodge is excellent since it stacks with incapacitating bite, it also helps against permabashers which are your one main counter after getting a BKB.
In regards to the lack of health items that can be partly fixed by strength treads.
Butterfly + Buriza > Butterfly + MKB
Crit > Ministun
Woah, a lot of MathCraft going around here. You should consider that Butterfly has Evasion and that's what counts if you're going head to head against enemy DPS.
I still hate critics...
Yes critics suck. Thanks to those who are supporting me here. When alls said and done, what does .4 (or whatever the hell the tiny difference is, not that I could care less) MATTER if they miss half their attacks and will get mowed regardless?
only 1 flaw,
the calculations of biriza chance to trigger is NOT that bad.
BM can usually trigger crits 2x in 5.
agreed with fwii~ rad owns, you focuses to much on sneak attacks when BM can be totally be made food early game with usage of wards. happens 3 times in each 7 games, wards usage are at 4th minute , it sucks to be food.
I watched replay and you were up against complete noobs.
And btw when you said you got 2 kills with unattending spiderlings...BS lols you were chasing them I saw the control you had on em hahah.
Good Guide though. I agree all you need on BM is Vlads Treads and Butterfly lols
maybe a wraith band or 2
I have 2 problems with the broodmother, I find her at a huge disadvantage out of her lane, and also it's really hard to deal with wards and gems.Any advice about this? Good guide though :)
@ Counter_Force[X] = Buriza has a 20% chance to trigger, I don't see why it'd be 2 in 5.
I would only get Radiance IF they were already killing my invisibility, which doesn't happen to me nearly as much as is logical. I totally agree people would get wards, I just don't see it a lot. My other points still stand though - the immolation just isn't as valuable to me as attack speed or crits or ministun, and you certainly don't need it for farming.
@ choijinhyeok = yes they were noobs. Again I've said, it was the only replay I had of decent Spider ownage (typical pushing and Hunger use, etc) at the time. I don't see how you reach the conclusion I was controlling them. If you watch it again, you would notice I only have Broodmother selected. And you can't ignore my responses to the kills (such as "WTF???"). No offense taken.
@ Nipe = playing Spider out of her lane. Either get more points into Web ASAP so you can place more Webs faster, or endeavor to stay in your lane and have things happen there, such as allied pushes. If you are forced to play out of your lane (correction, that Web-infested hellhole) then just be more careful - play her as someone without invisibility. If you have to gank someone, refer to the guide: come from behind or in fog, etc.
Gems or Wards - if theres a Gem, the obvious solution is to gank them and take or destroy the Gem. Considering that in team battles you won't be invisible anyway, it shouldn't affect the battle that they have a Gem. If they have Wards, you can counter-ward, switch lanes, play farther up the lane, or place Webs in the hope of revealing the Ward (no, don't do that last one, its slow and unreliable).
Further update material - move Radiance out of 'Not to get ever'... also add something about Wraiths/Bracers.
this is the best strategy i've seen on this site good job. please keep writing on other heroes too
good stratergy
but if i fight with stunner and slower at the same time
what should i do...
i'm sorry but with regards of my still sane brain, 20 is chance not precision, speed affects it so you should not make quite calculations ever by saying for sure in 5 hits, only 1 crit will trigger. theory sucks, practical experience is better , i'm sure you'll agree if i say brood has quite aspd to make buriza a better item than butter in certain cases , not to say that buriza is always better , but sometimes it is . out ----
forgot to mention from 1st post, good guide the reason im saying that u underestimated buriza is bcause i had a quarrel wif my friend once about my theory, i supported buriza as you do but when it came to 1 on 1 practise with her , i lost good guide btw.
thousands of sorry for 3x post, but my post above me , i actually supported butterfly.out---
Hmm, I agree that a Butterfly(on BM) is indeed superior to a Buriza. But I prefer getting a Buriza over a SECOND Bfly. I believe that BM already has an insane aspd with her agi gain and the first Bfly, a Buriza would be a more logical DPS item.
But the author is NOT forcing you to get 2 butterflies, that is his personal preference. That's why an alternate build was provided. Items are always situational after all.
Oops, It seems that I haven't rated this guide yet. 10/10 lol.
"I was going to put Euls in the update, I neglected to mention it because nobody else requested it. I know about it."
I'm not sure if you are regarding to using Eul's to surround heroes with spiders or how Eul's dispels insatiable hunger. I would encourage mentioning how it dispels because its just as annoying as diffusal blade.
Orochi is correct: that is the build I enjoy using and I am only demanding the use of the initial core itembuild. I will probably confirm for myself that Buriza works better than a second Butterfly the next time possible. I just have this knack for never getting that far. The game in the replay is rather typical despite being against people who couldn't play very well. Thus I generally only reach one 4th tier item, the first Butterfly.
@ TenthGear = Euls to dispel. Its just as bad as Diffusal Blade. I would have never thought of it except I used it against my friend's Spider, it was kind of overkill.
Extremely nice dude Keep working hard!
if his bite wasnt an orb effect with satanic thats a 100 percent life steal when activated. too bad
woww shimmra_3..u're very good with maths
@Shimrra_3
Yep, it's better to get buriza than a 2nd butterfly as attack speed calculation tells you that you can't get much more faster but you can get more offensive with the damage.
@ Nelstar = read my last comment please!
Awesome strat, gave me some new thoughts about this spider
NIce guide dude
10/10
@Shimrra - Sorry for the earlier comment as I did not even put up a little information to back up my statement, double apologies for that.
Anyway, based on how IAS was calculated. An additional butterfly would have given an additional attack every 2.83 second.
Taking consideration that BM has acquired pwr treads AGI he would gain a +40 (note the item gives +30% attack spd and +10 agi, not Shimrra's fault that it was not updated correctly)
2 (1+0.6 bfly+0.4 treads) x 235 x [0.8+(0.2x2.2)] = 582
vs
2.6 (1+2x0.6 bfly+0.4treads) x 220 = 572
So buriza for second item is slightly better than butterfly. (mathematically speaking)
Wonderful job for this guide, an 10/10 for it too.
I find that sudden influx hard to believe. Whoever the real SINGLE person behind that is, you're pathetic. 'Guide is far too long' I ask you...
should i make multiple accounts like that retard and get the ratings back up?
10/10
WOW i agree
10/10
PFFT NOOBS WHO MAKE MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS ARE RETARDS
10/10
man shim you are the best
10/10
this works really well
10/10
i didn't read it BUT
10/10
anyway just because i hate Geten AKA Chet AKA aRya85 AKA zxcvqw AKA shimrra_4
how does one know this?
the fact that there was a 3 minute interval between each post would definitely suggest that, also they all came from the same ip
sorry but you fail at life
10/10 for being a noob.
also i see you don't have a guide posted, maybe thats because yours was to short?
~VINDICTIVE ME~
It is just lame to flame the guide creator who spent time capturing his screens, take effort to put in details and make the guide. It is even more lame and selfish to create multiple accounts to flame and insult the creator just because he did not create it for your liking.
If you cannot appreciate their work, create your own guide and see for yourself, how much effort was being put in. If you cannot understand that he can keep to himself and not share his knowledge, you are really detestable.
I'm with Ghost to support Shimrra_3
After reading the guide again and trying it out, I gotta say the guide was detailed and covered almost all grounds including the shady "where do I spin web" question.
Spinning web is a class act. Spidey is a ward killer. Warding the map to "spy" opponents is rendered useless.
If you are up against teams that loved to ward the map, this guide and this hero is your answer.
snap drew removed the posts from that idiot, now you can't see who I am flaming...
Excellent guide Shim..... Really like the way you have explained the guide and nice replay.... found a new way to use Spider mama.... very nice strat, give you full credit for it.....
one thing i wanted to know is how would you counter Swen with Satanic and battle fury on him and on God's Strength....found it real tough, got owned actualy..... maybe i'm a noob for DoTA....would benefit from your comments.....
phoenixvenom...
personally i would go for a few blade mail immediately, let him have a taste of his own medicine
anyway when any hero can buy items like those it usually means you can get good items too,and if you are dying, you can always hide in your web
Ahhhh!!! That reminds me! I found a hero who can stand up to Insatiable Hunger! Huskar with Inner Vitality on and a Satanic or something comes about THIS CLOSE to dying but manages to kill Spider.
nice strat! ownage!!
@131
It's not easy if sven uses hammer, blink, ult, mom rage with cleaver(battlefury) on you and your spiderlings/spiderites, but if you managed to survive that, please go inside the web and laugh at his miserable failure to kill you.
Then when that Sven thinks he got the best of you, return with full life and return your best with the Insatiable Hunger. You should win now that he goes 'missing' + low lifeleech, lower speed, lower dps hero with a weak stun.
Sven vs Spider would be a fairly close match. As I've said on such issues, it depends on player skill and items.
hmmm??? i think its to easy to counter this hero
wards would do the trick..
200 gold? its worth it..
just don't place the ward on the web or within the web... bec it can be seen by brood..
shimrra.. great guide!!!!!!!
can u make a strat for nerubian assasin.. tnx!! keep up d good work!!! come visit here in the philippines,palawan!.. hehehehe..
Question: Does diffusal blade's "purge" debuff Insatiable Hunger?? I mean does it cancel it??
@ jayquiling = http://www.dotastrategy.com/strategy-320-OrochisAnubarak.html
@ mv20vm = Purge debuffs Hunger, as does Cyclone.
One word: NICE!
Hey
Let's play 1 on 1 at GG Client. mid only. Use your brood and I'll use razor
Funny how you didn't even want to play brood at the start of the match :P
Very nice guide man, you made me want to play brood for the first time and it was a great experience, however my first game was against sladar, barathun, mirana(with skadi) and tauren... i was very mad the whole game :P
Second game I had no anti's and got a nice 19-2 with 2 butterflys, 2 bashers, vlads and powertreads. it was a great game!!
Thankyou for this guide and i hope you put as much effort into any others you plan to make in future because it really is worth your time :)!!
Wow! What a great guide! Very thorough. I like all you ideas except for one thing that is just in my opinion. I sometimes get radiance with broodmother. The times I do this is when it doesnt matter if they know you are in your web. She can own with radiance oftentimes. Otherwise, I thought you guide was the best I have ever read. I hope you write more!
Hey. Great guide! I was wondering if you stacked 2 webs on top of each other, could you get bonus move speed or regen? I haven't found the time to try it yet.
excellent work dude! now thats really something! i'm a personal fan of broodmother! nice strategy! must've been very tiresome to make a strategy that good... i'm godsmacked, man!

super 4x posts , i would love to try that
thanks for the reply Shim and Darksun...... actually i found it pretty easy to win around with spider from the day i started playing DotA..... this guide just amplifies my score...
well done Shim and all those who worked on this guide.....keep coming up with such good ones
Shim, can u post a good guide for Witch Doctor on the way we can play on his strenghts and keep a check on the weaknesses?
http://www.dotastrategy.com/strategy-534-SteveOsFavoriteDoctor.html
^---- Guide.
earthshaker must be stun and kill first when having a group battle
GO SOLOMONNNNNNNNNNNN!!!! LOL
This might be my 1st comment and im doing it b'cuz your really gud at broodmother
but juz a comment i think you should lvl incapicating bite earlier
LOL I am discovered! Oh noes!
tNx!!!
really great guide. helps me know a lot about how to play this hero. 10/10
this is one of the best guide that i have ever read thnx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10/10
hey i'm pretty good with magina but now u introduced an anti str?!sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!
LOL
this strat is so AWESOME
keep up the good work
you are awesome!
hmmm.. Honestly, we have the same kind of build, but your strategy are very good!! your the best! i giving it a 10/10
Hmm... i don't like the Spawn Spiderlings skill. I tried this build in a priv game with my clan and sadly I got owned. So from now on I'm always leaving that skill out. It's overestimated. Otherwise a good strat maybe just a little long:P Took some time reading it through. Maybe it works good in public. Don't play that much though.
Great Guide!
10/10
how can i watch the replay
how can i watch the replay
they say the evasion in butterflies do not stack
@167 - They don't and in fact the author knows about it. The increased atk speed and damage is the main aim.
pls send the replay here or at my email
jpaulus_10@yahoo.com
The replay is right there. That link. The one conspicuously highlighted as 'Spider Replay'. Then click the button labeled 'download'.
@ Nelstar = that is indeed the aim.
wow the enemies you are playing with are total retards.
NOTED. GET OVER IT. DOES NOT DETRACT FROM GUIDE. ANY QUESTIONS?
Dude, 10/10, love this strat.. Your build and strat is same as mine, except I tend to own so much, from the beginning, that never manage to farm enough for heart+mkb, only once, i managed to have an AC.. with basic build..(PT,butterfly,vlads,butterfly,hyperstone)
Anyways, real good strat man, keep em coming.. Spawn spiderlings FTW!
wo000sh!! at last!! ano0b like me knew the best for my best!
Baa. I hardly get beyond Treads-Butterfly...
iv'e never play broodmother before now that iv'e read your guild ill try to play it
i have always wanted to like Broodmother as a hero. now that u have given a good strat, surely it will help on winning games.
Easily one of the best guides I've seen. 10/10. The only thing I need to comment on is that Headress really isn't needed. No criticism for anything else.
*yawn*...like Techies, I rarely play the spider. Still I recognize a good guide when I see one, and this is one of the best. *yawn* 10/10
nothing to say but 10/10
Excellent guide i went 3v1 against 3 of my buds they had rexxar luna nd yurnero...add rexxar as an emeny 4 secs is a long time to wait... I got all the mentioned items nd owned them thanx for the help 10/10
kinda funny cus i normally give negative feedbacks to guides but theres nothing to say your guide is well made 10/10
Dude ur strategy is godlike might i suggest however to add blademail if u are against other dps heroes because that really helped me
Blademail would be situational only. Ie, no good for CM ES QoP or similar.
ipit
What.
Does.
That.
Mean??
I wish this site was devoid of spammers.
plaid spider for the first time last night. remembered a bit from the first read of your review. my team lost but i did alright. Great guide!!
web positioning is crucial, but once u got that youve already got the kill. Bfly ftw btw
well done
As a spider player I'm sure you have seen the "destroy target lane in five minutes build" correct? This build is great, but until that one fails me I will still use it. And spider doesn't beat dazzle, at least not my dazzle.
shimrra how can you counter sven or slardar on 1v1?
slardar with amplify damage on BM deals more damage than your lifesteal and he has a stun too same with sven with god's strength and storm bolt
sorry for double post and slardar s amplify damage can track BM so she can't escape how can ı counter it
Black King Bar. Personally I think all of those heroes would still have a hard time overcoming Hunger. Depends as I always say on the items and skill of the players.
1nSaN1tY
i have to say they are not that good mid game when you maxed out Incapacitating Bite(which you really should) due to the 25% miss(haha)
so you should really lifesteal more mid game, try to advoid them mid game i guess(with butterfly they are nothing lol)
anyway when i get spider i tend to get ganged like hell, wherether it is ais or real players...(but more on the ais+ >
A very very good guide
Spider was one of my favorite heroes. Completely agree on getting butterfly over buriza due to the fact that buriza is pure damage while butterfly gives damage and increased survivability. A 10/10 guide
I tried dis stat and it rocks... By the way what does IMBA means?
First of all : VERY nice strat ..
Second .. i dont think that twin butterflys are g00d ... i would get a MoM ..
But it is Still the best guide ive seen.. (for Arachnia :) ) Thumbs Up !!
u must try armlet of mordiggan on this hero
Insatiable Hunger + armlet of mordiggan like 195 damage :D
@ eugene242 = 'imba' = unbalanced (IMbalanced).
@ sl4p = MoM is an Orb Effect therefore you lose Bite (Nooooo!).
@ Zahaquielx = So far I've only gotten Armlet for Huskar but it has merit so I'll try eventually. Seems more suited to Strength heroes.
Are You NuTS....
You NeeD to BuiLd Arcane Ring oN bRoodMotHer....
BeaCAuse She hAs Low Mana....
And If You WanT her To Be a Fast Pusher...
YOu NeeD it.....
^_^
Lol idiot.
made up few pubs experiment these days and suited much. heres some
orchid on her is quite good against blinkers and you may actually neglect bkb by getting this
vanguard/2 stouts provide decent survivability over rushing vlads in term of harassment.
i find out by your style of play, maxing stats abit over bite is quite effective in neutral, lane control and allows you to use spawn more often.
bottle is great-no joke.
Someone suggested Orchid, I forget when or where, but BKB would be better vs a team of casters than Orchid. Stats over Bite I would disagree: people have already expressed the opinion of getting stats over SPIDERLINGS, ie Bite-Stats. Put simply, you need everything Spider has - if you need stats, spend 920 on a pair of Wraiths because you can't buy Bite! Bottle I can see working.
well, those are just my opinions and early test, couldn't disagree wif ya.
i simply dont like bkb on melee heroes-i-dont-know-why
my opinion on some early stats over bite will not change, simply personal preferences ,and rarely i find a team of casters in pub,all because pubs love lategame heroes, unaware of the risk and hard time farming.i couldn't disagree more on other things, exspecially when bkb is more farm friendly and convenient ill only stick to my 6stats over bite.
I have situations here in playing, well, whenever I gho hero killing, they say I'm always backstabbing them because I'm always invisible w/ the net, and they are telling me that I'm backstabbing them and now, they've become angry to me, but it wasn't my fault, its just with the hero, how could I convice them that its just a game? I feel alone back then!
Wow that is really sad. Its like people who scream 'NO GANKING'... I mean come on, what do you expect in DotA? Icecream? There will be ganking, that is all.
About BKB... I just played a game with Lycan (an even better BKB hero) and they had the absolute worst disabling team: Bane, Bloodseeker (ignore), Pudge, Spiritbreaker, and Meepo. That means Fiends Grip, Dismember, Greater Bash, and Earthbind: BKB blocks NONE of those! Somehow we still won... but Spider would have been murdered. That I had 4k hp was immensely helpful though.
Lol Shimmra, i was wondering if u haf the same prob as me for getting headress for a waste of cash. Usually b4 game begins i would grab a RoR , some branches and etc... Then on my return trip bak to fountain i wouldn't bear to sell my RoR, so i'd use my branches to make a headress and then keep it nearly for the whole game wasting that slot. Btw in bnet r u frm Loraderon (U.S) or....?
I'm on Lordaeron yes. My RoB + Headdress issue came from my mainline caster build, which is to start off with RoB and RoR and rush Aghanim's Sceptre (when appropriate) with Boots somewhere along the line. This meant that there was little or no room for items such as Null Talismans, so I took whatever I could get without selling, so the Headdress was overly convenient in this regard.
I also purchase Headdress with one of my other builds, where I start with RoR 2 Circlets and 2 Branches - the first time I heal, I try to get Boots, then if I want anything besides whatever the Circlets will be, I either have no room, sell a Branch, or make Headdress (which sometimes negates the purchase of another item as I have just blown the cash on the Headdress).
I am so odd about my Headdress... who ever said only support heroes got it lol.
Arghhkk not a double post (ah shit). Lordaeron Australia. :/ Not US.
@comment 204
oh yeah cheap team of caster, cheap but deadly.sure bkb would look much better.
BKB would be for a team such as, ES CM Lina Rhasta. Commonly acknowledged disablers such as Bane and Enigma have spells that go through (Fiend's Grip and Black Hole).
oh yeah, thats sucks,i still remember my old nai'x days, pawning those guys are simply useless, retards.Anyway how long does it takes to get a guide approved(if it does).I recently posted a puck guide made in 1 hour with the help of my brother.too bad no screenies.
Guides may take a week or two. But guides that are short and don't cover everything are likely to be left untouched; make sure your guide is up to scratch. I think a one-hour wonder is liable to be pretty hopeless in terms of getting posted.
oh i assure you,its not scrap.it might be an 1 hour work, but my brother puts loads of efforts into itt
again, page refresh w/o me having any knowledge, good thing it didn't spam.but, the guide is pretty detailed,as 1 of my most used hero lately, ive been finding soo many ways of making puck a safe played as well as an aggressive hero.
I'll take your word for it, I was checking. Another factor is if its very similar to an existing guide (even if its unintentional).
Nice strategy guide!
I've just recently discovered how powerful broodmomma can be and playing her in the GG client arena trully has an edge over the others. I've usually ignored her in most games but now I do find her abilities one of the best I have ever handled so far in DOtA. Now, there isn't a game where I have not used her as one of my "ACES" and I still can't believe how menacing this hero could be. ROCK ON!
@shimrra_3
yes,ive been reading strategy comments lately, some critics are very good so i put it into account and add it up into my guide.kudos to five people, whose comments made the most part that influenced it

Yo! im a relatively experienced player and i reconginse a good guide when i see one. ANd anyway, i like 2 butterflies better then buriza. Those which didnt bought it wud have nver realised how effective it was. Also, on the strong emphais on the headress revelaing u away, an invis hero cant emit any auras if i remeber correctly. SO there wud be no fear of revealing urself if u are in a web as there wud be no aura as long as u remain invis.Nice guide 10/10 And still some just kip tinking WE get 2 butterflies for the evasion. Idiots ^^
I'm touched by the word "experienced player","two butterflies" and "idiot".seem to me,,youre talking to yourself
AMAZING
nicely done my friend!!! well done...
i really like your strategy and the way you used broodmother, very nice...
I like this strategy, GJ man! I think that after vlads you should get buriza, and then maybe BKB,linkens or heart.I also think that headdress is unnecessary, ring of reg. is enough, and you should get a chicken in the beginning.
