It's an okay strategy for me. But smart players that realize you activate mask of madness won't just run, they can even go toe-to-toe with you, knowing that you do not have any HP-boosting items at all.

Here is my personnel build for DR.. start with ROR no doubt and flask with ironwood branches.. your aim is to get a BOT and HOM for mega cash and niffty aspd.also purchase 2 bracers early game as in increases all stats and gives a nice boost in hp which is needed by DR and most agil heroes. the big items u wuld want to get are butterfly cristalys and later a BDK for nice damge and if push comes to shove get a heart ..let me know what u think of it

i recommend you guys 2 buy for her a butterfly,MKB,hyperstone,trends,lothar + any item you like

hmmm....not so good, but at least u have share some of ur ideas, i usualy farm MKB for drow then go for lothars and finaly Buriza for late game. and if its so late game go for HoT for higher HP and Rapier i guest..

yah i think buriza and linkens sphere are better items for the drow ranger.....

1st item i will go for lothar's, or boots of travel. y lothar's? easier to backstab since you can ww and then silent and start firing, and ur enemy will be lost in the middle of nowhere. y BoT? it helps you to farm your major items to make yourself a real fighter late game. When you see a big bunch of enemy creeps approaching yours in any lanes, teleport there, farm as much as you can and windwalk away if you feel unsafe. That's how i farm almost everything i want. ;)

why TREADS and BOT??? The move speed don't stack!!!! its a complete waste!!!
other than that all your build needs is lothars then you got it nailed....BUT NO BOOTS OF TRAVEL!!!

You have way too many IAS items. Power treads, Butterfly and a MoM should suffice you.

I just randomed her and had Boots, Stygian, Lothars, MKB, and Butterfly, and i was 8-2. Really high damage and aspd, maybe add Buriza for crit. I know stygian doesnt stack with Frost but that's why you always manual cast unless hero killing. Be smart and escape with Lothars, she is a fragile Drow!

Bad Strategy. Sorry man you just dont have the right items.

i don't think power threads + butterfly + 2 hyperstone is a good combination. it will increase attack speed but not that much

i suggest powerthreads then butterfly then MKB since the two latter items got quarterstaff 10% attack speed plus your power threads so why not just invest on sange nd yasha instead of hyperstone... not only will u have the attack speed, you would have the damage to go along with it too...

then of course if uve got the cash u can get BoT in place of the power threads... so with these list you already have 3 big time items in your inventory.

then why not add some more damage to it by getting buriza? will not work, you think??? give it a try... or if you're worried abt your HP - get HoT during the midgame -- so what u have in ur list would be a combination of BoT, Buttrfly, MKB, BdK, SaY, HoT...

and what i usually do during near end games - i sell my Sange and Yasha and then get another butterfly.

not only will it increase your attack speed, damage or even ur stats... what we dont see in our stats doesn't mean it's not in effect!!! check out your evasion rate! more chance to evade/dodge damage right? that's 60%!!! what do u think???

Not arguing that it is by all means an "easy to use drow" but

A. if you are up against nukers.... silence is by far the better skill to get in my opinion!

B. 1 level of frost and trueshot and stats until level 6.... why because that early on either they have boots and you dont or you slow and they cant get away anyways....

I have to disagree with the skill build... aura doesn't increase much when her dmg is so little in the beginning. I would get silence earlier on instead for harassing enemy heroes more effectively, and wait till mid game or at least until the bfly before getting the aura. 6/10

wow a scary build, pure agi and damage 10/10

the attack speed increase has good synergy with marksmanship... it's a percent per hit, no matter how much dmg you do on that hit. so more hits = greater chance of creep kills. farm lots early game, and then in late game choose to either get even more speed or go for dmg and life (late game dmg and life are good for you)

mask of madness doesnt work when ur using frost arrows so its kinda useless if ur gonna get a butterfly and hyperstone later...

idk with this new version i try and get guinsoo and get frost arrows around the same time cuz as soon as u obtain guinsoo ur able to just leave frost arrows on auto cast without fearing the not enuff mana to cast silence if need to situation...but i usually go now treads,guinsoo,buriza,butterfly,and a wraith band...usually cuz its game by the time u get guinsoo....but if it isnt just get a hyperstone

I'm not to sure about getting the Mask of Madness and also I think threads are better for Drow then the boots of travel other then that i believe this guide is awesome >< GJ

Also one more thing i forgot to mention I think a S&Y would really help drow so she can chase heros even faster >< because i use S&Y on Drow and my movement speed was 423 and i could even catch Night Stalker (At Night)after i froze him

Try Manta Style. Butterfly is a new one for me-i don't pay much attention to that shop. My friends make me use S&Y, Hyperstone and Manta Style. I will try the Butterfly.

why do you even need to leave frost arrow on auto cast? it's a waste using it on creep lmfao and you're not going to be shooting heros all the time

mega kill with this build with Traxex my friends got frustrated and quit.

can anybody tell me which is the best hero to counter drow?

There are some flaws in this guide:
-Backstabbers will get a sure hit while you are chasing the enemies(w/ mom activated.)
-drow is the worst candidate for skadi.
-buying mask of death early is a waste of cash.
-kill as much as mid game. stick w/ at least 2 allies.
-drow is one of the best candidate for s&y. You should have it.
-you might want to upgrade hyperstone to assault.
-lothar's is an effective item for this.
in this way she can be part time chaser and part time backstabber.
