A wave of fire that ripples out from Lina Inverse, causing damage to land units in a line.
Level 1 - 100 damage.
Level 2 - 170 damage.
Level 3 - 230 damage.
Level 4 - 280 damage.
Mana Cost: 90/ 105/ 125/ 140
Cooldown: 8.5 seconds
Comment: Your bread and butter, one of your 2 nukes in the game. You will be using this skill most of the time in farming as well as hero-killing. The mana cost and cooldown is rather reasonable. Max this skill out asap after Light Strike Array (LSA).

Summons a column of flames that damages and stuns enemies for 1.6 seconds.
Level 1 - Deals 90 damage.
Level 2 - Deals 150 damage.
Level 3 - Deals 210 damage.
Level 4 - Deals 280 damage.
• Effect is delayed 0.5 seconds.
Mana Cost: 90/ 100/ 110/ 125
Cooldown: 7 seconds
Comment: This is your second skill/nuke and escape tool in the game. Once again, you will depend alot on Light Strike Array (LSA) in both farming and hero-killing. The mana cost and cooldown is also rather low and reasonable. Max this skill out asap.

Grants you bonus attack and movement speed each time you cast a spell. Stacks with itself. Lasts 7 seconds.
Level 1 - 30% IAS, 3% MS
Level 2 - 40% IAS, 4% MS
Level 3 - 50% IAS, 5% MS
Level 4 - 60% IAS, 6% MS
• Duration refreshes each time a spell is cast.
• Stacks at most 3 times.
• Using items does not trigger Fiery Soul.
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: N/A
Comment: A rather useless skill during early and mid game. However, once you accquired all the core items which i will mention later, this skill is pretty effective and useful for pushing and hero-killing. At Level 4, you can permanently use this skill provided you have sufficient mana. Never learn this during the start.

Fires of bolt of lightning at a single target, dealing critical damage.
Level 1 - Deals 450 (600*) damage.
Level 2 - Deals 675 (925*) damage.
Level 3 - Deals 950 (1250*) damage.
• Damage type: magical
• Casting Range: 600 (900*)
• Can be improved by Aghanim's Scepter (* shows the improved values).
Mana Cost: 280/420/680
Cooldown: 120/90/55 seconds
Comment: Your ultimate as well as a finishing move. A signature skill for Lina as well as a cheap ultimate. Most heroes will lose to Lina during early and mid-game because of Laguna Blade. However, it loses effect as the game goes on against strength heroes or heroes with pretty high HP even with Aghanim Scepter. Be sure to learn this once you have the opportunity.

Early Game:
Firstly, my purpose of this guide is only for solo games and not team games. DO NOT attempt to follow my guide in team games. It found out that it doesnt really work out well after some tests.
Core Items : BoT, Guinsoo's Scythe of Vyse, Aghanim's Scepter, Nulls Talisman, Refresher Orb. If the game carries on, get EoS and with disablers, get BKB of Linken's Sphere.
Starting Items : 1 Boots of Speed, 1 Nulls Talisman, 1 Point Booster, 1 Void Stone, Clarity Potions and Sapphire Water.
Strategy for Early Game
Take the middle lane. Usually for solo games, people will start with the mid lane as it is the most vital lane. Try to push down the mid towers asap and defend your towers too. Remember to block your creeps when they come out as this will help you in farming and also more tower advantage. Early game is extremely important for early-mid heroes like Lina. Without proper farming and items, Lina is almost useless during late-game. Always try to get "last-hits" and deny your creeps when farming. Be sure to harrass your enemy especially if he is a melee hero. Always try to stay behind your creeps and avoid getting hit. Try to spam LSA and Dragon Slave when your enemy is together with the creeps. Mana management is important especially when you are about to reach Level 6. Save up enough mana so that you can use the combo ( LSA+2hits+Laguna Blade+Dragon Slave.. ) to get your first blood. That is why getting a Void Stone is important to solve your mana problems. Nulls Talisman and a Point Booster is to boost up your stats a little and to prepare for other better items later on. You can kill any heroes with less than 495HP. Most heroes will fear Lina during early game if played correctly. As i mentioned in my suggested skill build, max out LSA then Dragon Slave and of course Laguna Blade whenever you can. DO NOT learn Ultimate until late-game. A good Lina can push down the first mid tower by around Level 7.
