Bear with me people, this is my first every strategy that im posting. IMO, Sven is one of the greatest creep killers AND the greatest hero killers (One Vs. One) that DOTA has to offer. He is also one of the greatest tanks in the game, with a MINIMUM armour bonus of 8. His damage is extraordinary, and can reach 500+ within late game, no divine rapier. Read on and please comment, because it will help me with further strategies. Thanks Everyone...

	Sven - The Rogueknight Range: 125 \| Move Speed: 295 Primary: STR Str: 23 + 2.7 \| Agi: 21 + 2.0 \| Int: 14 + 1.3 Damage: 54 – 56 \| HP: 587 \| Mana: 182 HP Regen: 0.94 \| Mana Regen: 0.57 Attack Speed: 1.47 \| Armor: 1
	Storm Bolt (T) Targets an area around an enemy unit and releases a magical hammer dealing damage and stunning enemy units. Level 1 - Deals 100 damage and stuns Level 2 - Deals 175 damage and stuns Level 3 - Deals 250 damage and stuns Level 4 - Deals 325 damage and stuns Sven strikes with such force that all nearby enemies take damage. Mana Cost: 140 Cooldown: 16 Comment: This is a very useful and crazy skill when coming to killing and stopping runaway heroes. Two seconds is all you need, when one on one with another. On the plus side, it also has a cool 250 damage which is useful anyhwere between midgame to early.
	Great Cleave (C) Sven strikes with such force that all nearby enemies take damage. Level 1 - 20% damage is splash. Level 2 - 30% damage is splash. Level 3 - 40% damage is splash. Level 4 - 50% damage is splash. Mana Cost: N/A Cooldown: N/A Comment: IMO, not such a useful skill. ALTHOUGH if added with Battelfury (Which is optional) it can become quite deadly to each and every wave of creep that hits you but not heroes. Why? Because Sven is only a one on one hero killer.
	Warcry (W) With the righteous anger of one wielding Justice, Sven lets loose a mighty Warcry, heartening his allies for battle. Sven and nearby allies gain movespeed and increased armor. Level 1 - Gives +3 armor and 12% movespeed for 6 seconds in a 350 AoE. Level 2 - Gives +6 armor and 12% movespeed for 6 seconds in a 350 AoE. Level 3 - Gives +9 armor and 12% movespeed for 6 seconds in a 350 AoE. Level 4 - Gives +12 armor and 12% movespeed for 6 seconds in a 350 AoE. Mana Cost: 25 Cooldown: 36/30/24/18 Comment: Nice. Simply nice. This skill and one or two other items help Sven tank the nukings from other heroes and take a lot of damage from towers in early game. It also helps your creeps and your team-mates
	God`s Strength (R) Sven gets pumped up! Adds bonus damage for 25 seconds. Level 1 - Adds 100% damage. Level 2 - Adds 125% damage. Level 3 - Adds 150% damage. Mana Cost: 100 /150/ 200 Cooldown: 80 seconds Comment: This skill need not words to describe. Almost anyone will runaway from you if this skill is on, and is seriously deadly when its combined with a 75% cleave, chomps through creeps and kills heroes (under certain conditions) within less than ten hits. God's Strength only increases the base damage and the damage given by the primary attribute, so does that mean you should get items that give you strength instead of pure damage when trying to increase Sven's damage output with/without God's Strength?

and btw my build for sven is 2 bracers PT(str), AoM, BKB/helm of dom (depends what I need first) then Helm/bkb, Bfury, upg helm and buriza :) sometimes i sell bfury and buy AC or HoT

well.. i want to add that fiends grip from bane elemental goes thru bkb so you can still be disabled and raped. And btw medusa has no longer purge ;)

If you can I prefer, HoT, Satanic, Assualt, Buriza, Ptreads, and Preservance. you will get tons of health and dmg, while assualt and satanic brings you a very nice attack speed. in the early game try and stick back while harrassing with storm bolt, get a couple of masks to regen your mana as to spam your bolt more.

Try building him with 1 or 2 battle furies. that will make him a big support in BIG battles and could make him a double or triple killer if your allies has aoe stun!
