Great strat, my friend. The item build is good. The skill build is quite questionable though, as maxing Storm Bolt is good, but you may not have the mana to spam it early. As for Great Cleave, I believe you should get it earlier for farming efficiency. Farming is most effective in the early to mid game. But good job anyway.

You forgot the Mask of Madness
75% attack speed is cool when God's Strenght is on!

Thanks guys for the comments, and thanx to Garfield for pointing out that Mana problem. Nether, Mask of Madness is an orb effect, meaning it contradicts with my Satanic. Or does it? I've never tried it actually. So I ask: can you use mask of madness's +75% attack speed with Satanic (Or S&Y)?

I perfer Mask of Madness, no heroes can escape. :) Nether I know someone's guide with a Mask of Madness lol.

Put SAtanic on a higher priority slot than MoM so you'll get the 23% lifesteal. But you don't need 2 lifesteal items. Personally, I go for MoM. 17% Lifesteal is good enough. I love Toughness Aura and Devotion Aura combined. +8 Armor. Hehehe..

boring.... why not using great cleave for farming.... i prefered MKB and battlefury for more HP & MP Regenation and also for preventing coming back for SP regen...

The reason you don't get great cleave early game is because you should be timing and last hitting at this point of the game. Great cleave...and Battle Fury, etc. are completely useless early game. Great cleave should be used more late game for strong pushes as a team, as you destroy a lot of creeps very quickly. My 2 cents. Stop playing -em and you'd know why you last hit.

good strat but just a few items i would use instead. the mask of madness it makes sven insaine at lvl 13 i can solo 3 heros with that and my gods strength. and also a radiance instead of burzia because the dps and extra damage but mostly because of dps and if you are filthy rich a mkb never hurts to add on a extra 75 damage. over all good guide

The new item- Assault Cuiras is perfecto for Sven.Also if an ally has mechans...This guy will become Armor Incarnate!!

Treads/Satanic/Vladimir's/Buriza/Assault Cuiras/Rapier would be a dream build!

to be honest i would take MoM instead of satanic because you can get it earlier, and MoM + ultimate is awesome for mid-game ganking, especially if you can team up with a slower / stunner. thx for the guide! nice work. oh, and throw in a HoT. his health is quite low for a str hero, so pump him up a bit, if not with HoT then at least with a vital booster!

sven is the deadliest hero when he bacomes a tanker!!!!! with the buriza ang MoM, plus godstr skill. even in the early game with MoM n arcane ring!!!!!!!!

hmmm i like using dagons... simply because this is a melee hero... also.. if you can gods strength.. then storm bolt... and as he is trying pitifully to run you can dagon him... easy kill :D

My frend was using Sven and he built BKB. He then said I won't build BKB anymore when using sven coz it removes the God's Strength. Have you already tried it guys?

When I created this guide I was more into SnY and Satanic but after experimenting with MoM and such I find out perhaps they maybe the better items? :S dont know but yeh I just hope this guide has been of some help to others. I havent played DOTA in about a year so yeah..sigh

Nice build... but here's a better one! first RoB then go for the power treads and then go for the Netherizm Buckler that would make it for earlygame... later buy a Helm of the Dominator and make a Necronomicon up to lvl 3... the increased int and str make sven a real tank after that try to improve to a satanic and then a radiance makes the job

First time post, so...ya. Anyways, when I play Sven, I use these.

1. treads
2. vlad
3. battlefury
4. satanic
5. buriza
6. depending on the situation on who I'm playing with or how the game is going overall, a heart or assault cuirass, usually I go for the assault.

Idk, every time I use this build, I can take on 3 heroes at once.

What I do is, cast satanic, and if I'm about to die or soon as my health starts getting a little to close to red, I turn on god's strength. Combined with the buriza, you could be critting over 1k, which awesome since you have all that life steal so you'll be able to get back all your health and be ready for the next hero. But this is my build so, if you see any flaws please point it out.

I usually like to play this guy as a pusher and to chase away, or kill, people who are soloing lanes while my team is attacking the enemy's base

It works out great, the only downfall I see is getting nuked from way too many people.

All in all, I tried this strat the other day, and I owned. Thanks. Keep up the good work man

good strat. but items wise, i only agree on late game items. early game i suggest MoM, Threads, bracers. mid: + B fury, n then farm for HoT or u can choose hyperstone first. well, tats my build anyway, i jus started sven so everyone pls dun go too harsh on me. thx.

hey why am I supposed to get a basher for this guy??? I should have just created another battle fury for the mithril... and for the hyperstone, go for the cuirass so sven's armor + cuirass' armor = almost untouchable and add his high lyf with it...gud strat though

does his 2nd skill stack with battle fury? i think it does..if thats so, my build will be vlad, fury, buriza, BoT..thats all u need..fury+2nd skill for farming..buriza+ulti=insane damage..vlad+insane damage=high life steal..add HoT if the game goes longer than expected or if u have spare gold..
