I think it's better to just get one level of time walk then max out Time Lock and Backtrack first. *shrug* Just a suggestion.

cool... ^^ but why go for radiance? why not butterfly and MKB for boost your damage higher, and also attack speed a little since you are pure stunner? or maybe hyperstone?? hahaha the faster the faceless attack speed a better chance of stuning your opponent and also when the game is very long, better go for Buriza right away if i were you guyz right??

I max out time walk and bash first while adding points to Chronosphere when possible. I think going for hyperstone is good but does not MKB override the bash of this char reducing it to .1s? All I focus on this char is attack speed. You would not need to increase your damage if the person you are attacking cannot move anyway.

You can kill even strong str characters like King Leoric, Centaur Warchief, Leviathan even if they are at full life. And you would not need mana burn for King Leoric, you can just wait for him to come back and do it all over again as long as no other heroes help him

Because of his lack of hp I think that heavy ranged nukers are his worst opponents I find him to be an end game player. In the early to mid game, you are dependent on Chronosphere for kills or for escaping. In late game, you can kill one-on-one just using time walk. You would only use Chronosphere for escaping being ganged up upon or for ensuring the kill but in general you can live without it in the end game.

Radiance is really good with butterfly. I tried it, it gives alot more envasion. You don't get hit by your opponent and also perma stun is impossible. Try hitting Roshan, he will get our of stun after couple of hits. Nice item guide

Nice strategy guide. But anyway IMO, no need S&Y for this guy, what he really needs is attack speed. i recon to replace S&Y with MoM (since it has already been changed to 17% life steal!!!

By the way, 1 question i really wanted to ask, since his backtrack no longer the same type as evasion; since it can evade spells as well, when equipped with a betterfly will he now have 25% tp use backtrack as well as 25% to use evasion from butterfly?? Or will both skills stack using the any specific formula to create a new evasion percentage?

@ tstiong - Yes, it will stack, but not directly. There are two cases = spell and attack. You'll only have 25% chance to evade spells but you'll have 43.75% to evade attacks

DOES MANTA STYLES GOES THROUGH CRONOSPHERE?? the illusions get stuck what will i do?!

Images and replicates of Dark terror can move in the chronosphere.

50% evasion and gives them 8% miss, cool, but should buy bashers and hyperstoneeee

I like the item build, interesting skill build cause' I find all 3 of his skills to be useful and just add 1 skill up per level aking it in turns.

It's a pretty good guide considering how shitty the hero is. I've tried 'The Dark Terror', he's just too hard to use and the item build in this is just a bit hard to get.

its a better item build and cheaper than ever haha....just try it....

You know what...this is one of my favorite heroes, and of all the different ways i've tried to build him, the ol' double basher is simply the best way to go. I do like the Mask of Madness as well after the first basher, then get the second. MoM is one of the most underrated items in dota. So many times, someone thinks they've got me pawned, then I turn on MoM and do Chronosphere, and watch my hp go from almost dead to about half full, and watch them go from about half full to dead, then blinking out before their buddies can finish me off. This guy has got to be the most frustrating matchup for me. Love to be him, HATE going against him when someone knows how to use him. Then after the bashers and MoM, I do like butterfly. Great build!

I disagree with most of your guide. S and Y sucks on him, he has 6 seconds to kill the enemy, why do you need maim? Radience doesn't even work in chronosphere and is very hard to farm. You should either go for 2 bashers + MoM(permabash), or Manta + Butterfly(images move in chronosphere). You have given no justification for your build. Your skill build is..interesting. Why do you need bash, are you going to harass with one of the weakest early game heroes? Backtrack is much better, it allows you to dodge some nukes and gives you better survivability. Nice effort, but this guide just doesn't cut it.

ur strat is good except for the item build.......i would prefer boots of travel,vanguard,maelstrom,twin basher,butterfly-----then sell the vanguard for tarrasque and maelstrom for buriza

ur start is gud...... but for the item build I prefer manta style instead of S&Y....and one basher, radiance, assault cuirass, power treads and butterfly.

I liked Time-splitter 2 better. MoM was a great improvement. But, I like the items in this one more generally, more damage, and Butterfly just makes sense. Still, bash redundant, and guide is rather short. 7/10.

Opportunately, I don't like your built up items for terror, if you want to harass or be a good killer on early until last, I rspectfully recommend first built mask of madness instead of a two wraith band, a thing you should not forget, a killer speed and anonimous stun, then power treads, but your right in mid game, basher, then it could be butterfly or hyperstone.

your strategy is ok but why dont you get a MoM (mask of madness) i mean it gives life steal and it can make u hit a lot faster and you can kill way faster and it helps your run away
