Good guide, but I thought you should have aghanim's scepter? 
This is an okay guide. I like the skill build, but I would go for at least one level of Shadow Strike for early harassing. The item build is also fine, but why would you have Blademail? Platemail -> Aegis would be better, but then again very few opponents can kill you once you have Blink maxed. And also, Aghanim's is not recommended, as it only improves a bit of HP and mana and ultimate, but Eye of Skadi is way better, giving you HP, mana, a little bit of attack speed and armor, and the ever powerful frost attack, which is the best way to chase down heroes.
im sad not to see my guide published here. but i prefer to learn shadow strike first becos the mana cost is lower and i can harrass my oppenent at the beginning with it and keep them going back to base or waste money on flask. that's how i play...
this guides just wasting gold. you dont need skadi that soon. u should think about akasha ability to slowing and blinking. u should learn blink, shadow strk once and maxes scream of pain at the begining. with this strat u should be finish linken asap. it very helpfull to escape and supply your mana. then build your mkb to increase your att spd and damage.

I always first blood with Akasha in lvl 2 or 3, at least.
never upgrade a dagon, let me tell u all
1000+650+1350=3000(400damage)
3000+4000 to reach(800damage)
7000 u know, that not a little number of money AND all hero at the end game did not scare of dagon(incoude800damage)

well, Items and skill are okay. Do not upgrade dagon. Waste of 1350. Blademail should be set aside only as an option item, but you're not supposed to be sticking to the melee units anyway, so go for aegis. Short on strategy, but is an acceptable guide.
i just tried out with necromonicon3 + agahnim's scepter. total ownage. i dun buy skadi anymore, bored of it.

I don't like the recommendations here at all. I play QoP as my main hero, and usually pick up a chicken immediately and head into a lane. If I'm against a nuker, I'll have my chicken bring me a ring of regen, otherwise it'll bring me boots.
I save the first skill point until I can see who I'm facing. Someone with nukes? I get blink, so I can escape. A melee hero I can harass? Get shadow strike. Scream is not worth it early game because mana is precious and should be saved for occasionally shadow striking and mostly for blinking. I get stats + blink + 1 level SS against a nuker hero, otherwise I'll alternate shadow and blink, then go stats. I never get my ult until level 11, when I can get it to level 2. Scream comes last.
First item to get should be a sheep stick. Doesn't matter the order (Eul's or Oblivion staff first), just get sheep stick. Next, hyperstone. After that, it's kind of up in the air. With those two items you should be a very effective farmer and hero killer.
If you need some beefiness, get a Skadi and just farm up more damage to finish (of course, get a Linken's if the situation requires it). If you are seriously short on damage, get a Sacred Relic + Demon Edge, build an Aegis on your chicken, then make divine. As always when I get ridiculously high damage, I get lifesteal, so after Aegis + Divine you should get Satanic.
Boots of travel should come into the picture as well sometime after the sheep stick (I'd get hyperstone first, as it is better for farming, but if you are getting pushed in multiple lanes and are having trouble defending, BoT may be a better choice first).
I'd say Aghanim's is generally not worth it. It doesn't improve your ult that much, and other than that, it only adds a little HP and a little damage (compared to other items). Maybe good against lightweight heroes, but otherwise not important. Queen's ult is really good for wiping out huge waves of creeping and making lots and lots of money, and her level 3 ult is perfectly sufficient for that.
if akasha has low hp in the start why not buy her bracer in the start then sell it in lategame or mid game???? anyway nice guide.....

i dislike this guide... she will be screwed if u engage her up to close battle... which is why u shadow, blink, shadow, scream, shadow, sonic... blink is just used to chase so u can cast scream then shadow. ur item build is really weak because u hav got to save up like 3k without dyin just to get one item... u do realise u can sell items but at lesser cost. its so much the better though to buy small items at the beginnin so u can sell them to get the big ones. ull kill more, ull die less at early and mid game. boots of travel as ur last is stupid... i wouldnt even recommend it at all if it were to be last, teleportin fast and early will help u in early game, not late

I dont like your strat. Better buy a aegis then a blade mail though aegis is expensive. First item you shoul buy is linkens... Akasha can make a quick first blood.
I think blink should up till lv 2 and start learning shadow strike cause it is such an annoying skill to the oppenent.It can also be the last skill to kill an enemy if they survive from sonic wave. Better to have a aghanim"s scepter than boots of travel because akasha's blink is fast enough to travel quickly in mid and late game.
I think this is not a good way to pawn with akasha. You should max blink and shadow strike at first, then ulti and stats. The items you should buy at the beginnig are ring of regen + tangos, then bracer and boots (even power treads), then Stygian and Mkb to deal good dmg, and finish with linken or HoT or Aegis . By using blink then shadow strike, and finishing with ulti, you can get many kills easily. Try this, it pawns asses ;)
I don't agree with upping shadow strike, cos it's mainly for the slow, and the slow doesn't improve much. But aghanim's scepter and guinsoo's are major items for any intell hero, and this guide is seriously lacking if you don't have one of those.And you don't have to have dagon, get something to improve her pathetic hp, sange is good.

A killer queen of pain must have guinsoo, never mind the dagon. I usually purchase guinsoo first, then EoS, then go aganims, aegis and lastly divine. Boom!!! queen of pain "WILL" then live up to its name!!! Bwhahaha
a lvl 1 ss should be get..
dont max it, this skill is use only for harrasing and slowing enemies, i suggest you max blink and sop first..
though after dagon, i usually get Aghanims if agi heroes are enemy, if a lot of disablers, guinsoo/linken..
last is an eos or an mkb..

Personally, my skill build is usually blink at the beginning. I am usually quite aggressive and when i start chasing and need to get outta there u can just blink (btw, is it longer range than time walk?) and then i get SS since it is good to harass. then i just up s.o.p. and blink , get ulti lvl 6, and get SS maxed when i'm about 12/13. Great killing hero overall, just remember to blink away b4 u die

i had at least 4 rows of double kills
& 2 rows of triple kills in a game. i dunno, it works out for me.

usually cuz OBLIVION STAFF is easy to make in the beginning and it gives you mana regen plus damage early game.Finish PERSEVERANCE for the mana&hp regen. Then I make the eul scepter->guinsoo.. after all they're pretty cheap. and by now i got some decent damage/mana regen plus disable. I noticed the character's fragility so then i go for the SOUL BOOSTER, then MYSTIC STAFF, finish AGHANIM...save up for ULTI ORB, finish LINKEN SPHERE. DAGON's pretty easy to make from now, so I get those...
do i sound like a complete noob? im not the best dota player in the world, i wouldn't mind a bit of suggestion on this build. oh & i tried this guide, it works awesome too :)
o yea forgot to add -_-.... finish REFRESHER ORB after the OBLIVION STAFF & PERSEVERANCE.

There is no depth to this guide. Dagon is a BAD item on QOP as well. Also you only need one level of SS and you should get that at lvl 1(if you have a lane partner to chase) or lvl 4 after one level of blink and 2 levels of scream, use the rest for stats. Also it's better to get linkens first and then either skadi or ags.
i haven really played with her much i just strtd and from wat i learnt i think a scepter and a skadi would be an unbeatable combo...

not so great items,and not built with magic.....u should get shadow blink screamX3 ult scream again then first till end blink and ult,then stats..........but nice 2 try... 
im having problem with blinkers. especially magina with the mana void skill. how do i prevent them from abusing me. does linken sphere prevent mana void?
versus blinkers either sheep them (guinsoo's scythe) or just stay near your team mates and nuke them whenever they come in close.
i prefer scream,stats,blink 1st and i think using dagon in a 5v5 game is unexplainable for your team8s
Thats a nice strategy... But its a expensive and hard Set! ... So, What you think about charge some itens? Try charge the perseverance for a Oblivon staff or a Sange&Yasha, yeah... AGI Itens its nice for her... See You!

Not to bad of a strat, might wanna specify blade-mail is only if there are many or all melee heros on the other team, unless it is just 1 strong one that continues to rape you... but otherwise, not to bad.

get scream of pain last... by that point you will have the mana to spam it. speaking of which, go for sheep stick, boots of travel and then either skadi or satanic. throw in linken's if getting nuked. and stay away from silencer heroes like balanar.
This hero is often used in competitive play. Too bad i have never seen a pro strategy on her. You need to improve yr strategy. For one, yr early-mid-late game strat is too generalised. I think dagon is not worth it on akasha.
Who do you think the heroes that can defeat Akasha easily?

strongly advise not to use dagon late game. 400 dmg late game is nothing instead get guinsoo cause akasha with eye of skaddy and a disable is much more worthy for your allies. Easier kill late game 4 hits while he is in hex form are more dmg than a dagon.

i really don't agree with ur guide. i usually add Shadow strike and blink 1st for harassing e opponent and also dagon is kinda useless for QoP. Blink and Shadow strike can also be enuf 2 kill a hero in e early mid games. i tink u left out afghem scepter...
Queen of pain is a powerful late gamer good build. But I suggest you leave out the dagon, QoP has enough mana problems even without it.

I've played a few games in which i owned with Akasha (15-3,10-1,6-0 IIRC). So my comments are:
-1 lvl of SS is enough, its main purpose is to slow, the cooldown is still the same even if upgraded. Damage over time is so negligible, other skills are much better to lvl up than this.
-Scream should be taken at lvl 3, maxed at lvl 7. Its QoP's only spammable nuke, so it must be used to its full potential, ie at early game when everybody has low hp (and low armor, scream dmg is physical). And this skill should only be used when ganking (together with blink + SS), not for farming as QoP has a limited mp.
-1 lvl of blink early game to escape. Some ppl advocate lvling blink at lvl 12, but seriously the cooldown reduction makes it worthwhile to be lvled up starting from lvl 8.
-Sonic wave should be maxed out asap, ie lvl 6,11,16. It is strictly to be used ONLY as a finisher when you can't afford to tower dive or go past too many heroes. However, with lich (QoP's greatest partner), sonic wave is used to clear creeps for lich to unleash his you-know-it.
Basically, skill built should go like this:
1-blink
2-SS
3-5 -scream
6-sonic wave
7-scream
8-10 -blink
11-sonic wave
12-15 -stats
16-sonic wave
17-22 -stats
23-25 -SS
Therefore i think you should rework your skill built cos lvl up SS is a waste of lvl when her other skills are definitely more attractive. More often than not, you kill by last-hitting, sonic wave and scream, not by depending on the dmg over time from SS.
Your items are good. But i just like to emphasize that dagon is too much a waste of money for akasha when she needs money for 3 ultimate orbs. Blade mail is redundant since she does not engage in close combat and can blink away if she needs to. Her core items are:
BoT
Linkens (most important)
Skadi
Luxury item:
Guinsoo
And i agree she must be handled with care since blinking into the midst of battle often results in her death. Hence the need for linkens to dispel target stuns.

No I don't agree with your skill build, just get lvl-1 blink first for your safety then max out the other skill - scream, shadow strike & wave, only then you max the blink after maxing the other skills, and akasha is definitely a killer, she's not weak in whatever situation of the game - don't call her very very weak cause you just don't know how strong she is, she can kill heroes even in early games immediately, and your item build is okay but where's aghanims? you need it...
well.. akasha's weakness' are those who can make her unable to cast spells, she would be relying a lot from her blink, and we all understood that Magina is made to kill intelligence type heroes, from his name itself - Anti-Mage.. and even akasha has blink, heavy Nukers can kill her immediately without knowing it like Lina and Lion...
Aghanims is a waste of money on Akasha. It only improves Sonic Wave dmg by a measly 125, does not reduce cooldown, does not reduce mana cost, and adds ever so little dmg. In fact, Akasha should rush Skadi ASAP; all right, i know i said Linkens is the most important, but if you want to kill, try getting Skadi before lvl 15. Akasha is more like a team bloodseeker (somebody else said this) so you should travel with a friend to kill. For more damage, get a Guinsoo, as it gives a disable that Akasha lacks. If you are still into the game (sheesh), Buriza.
i dont see many peeps get arcane ring early game... i dont understand why. its amazing. QoP no different, she is mana/skill dependent. i get this item pretty quick, better then ring o bassi's regen.

I don't mean to run you down but if you need mana so much, get a bottle for her (non -np) or perseverance. That's it. Arcane costs nearly as much as Perseverance and it sucks once Akasha gets stats buff in skadi and linkens (perseverance gets better when you have more stats).

i would get MoM for QoP. early game, lifesteal works, plus the shadow strike + MoM+ whack till die combo. if opponent is not dead, blink near him, scream and sonic wave. usually a kill
To above poster: You're points are highly weak. Queen of Pain with Eye of Skadi means she will have EoS as an orb effect. Orb effects do not stack. Unless you don't buy EoS, this is what I tell you: MoM is silly for Akasha.
MoM was never good for a hero which attacks slowly and who doesn't need attack speed or movement speed at all. Movement Speed because of frenzy is non-sense. You have blink.
From Item Justifications: It would be nice to have a backup ultimate at your disposal. Upgrade to the maximum 800-damage energy burst of you can.
First of all, leveling dagon is stupid. No offense to those who use it. Getting 1350 gold for a nonsense 100 damage is too low, and too crazy. Also, if Akasha has Eye of Skadi, she'd automatically be a battle mage. Putting Dagon + EoS on QoP makes her a hybrid hero, which is horrible.
Blade Mail has no good justification too. Your item build constists of 6 items, and it's just 6 because BoS is upgraded into BoT.
Actually a MoM is pretty good combined with skadi but there are better items for aspd if thats what you are looking for...
@Rikimaru the Assassin: EoS is NOT an orb effect for ranged heroes so theoretically it should stack with MoM but i havent tried it so i dont know...
However i saw a nevermore with those two items and he was like 20/3....

Unless you want to experiment or feel bored with tried-and-true builds, don't ever take MoM. She is already very low in hp, Frenzy just kills her faster. The thing is not whether lifesteal stacks with frost but is this item worth the 1900 when Akasha only needs 400 more to buff her stats by addi. 10? She ganks not by using her normal attacks but smart usage of all her spells. The frost is icing on the cake for the team to chase better but even that is not sufficient reason to use MoM. You are not Darkterror/Sven where they have damage modifiers and increased ASPD helps them. The only departure from her usual build i would recommend is replacing perseverance with bottle, in a non-np environment, in which case you must rush Skadi ASAP preferably before lvl 15. FYI this is not my personal suggestion but the suggestions of one of the beta-testers of DoTA maps, Beast_Pete.
nice trick. But i prefer radiance than dagon. Go around your enemy creep, than scream...u'll earn +200 gold ;P after you get radiance n travel, i think you just need 10 minutes to get your rapier...
Great guide, my first time playing Akasha today and I had 5-0 within the first 13minutes. I had skadi at level 16 or so, untouchable the whole game.. Pretty much controlled it

This is a somewhat crappy item-build, but the most important role of akasha is a supporting ganker-hero in early/midd-game - she is fast to reach another lane for a gank, has a slowing dot and blink for chasing = perfect (: Skill-build should focus on screm of pain for farming, 1 level of strike for slow and blink for chasing - get lvl 2 ult at lvl 11 for finishing.
Items you need:
BoT
2x bracers
guinsoo
If you get an insane amount of money and noone else has necro - buy it. Skadi too. You can't really mess her up totally - the important thing is to keep the other team down while farming a lot more gold yourself (;

Akasha is NOT a supporting hero. She is a ganker yes, but when she ganks she must get the hero bounty not others. Support heroes aren't the first choices to get hero bounties everytime they help a gank. She is supposed to be a carry hero and all carry heroes get the gold/experience first. Pls remember that. Hence no guinsoo until after you get skadi. And I've already stated why aghanims is bad on akasha.

Although Radiance comes last.
You cud just follow opponent with SS trying to flee and he dies with Radiance chase itself.
Try this costly build once!!!

Dude this guide need some modefications..
Items: first, get bottle since qop is a hero who will blink around the map and gang all the time, then bottle is great. 3 nulls and boots of speed, you get both dmg, hp and mana. they make you pretty strong so you can start farming to skadi. when you got skadi go for mkb and buriza. impossible to escape and you make sick dmg.
Skills: 1.shadow strike. 2.blink 3.scream of pain 4.scream of pain 5.scream of pain 6.sonic wave 7.scream of pain 8.blink 9.blink 10.blink 11.sonic wave 12.shadow strike 13. shadow strike 14.shadow strike 15.stats 16.sonic wave 17-25.stats

Thirdly why get BoT you only need Treads because of blink and if u have skadi you dont need the speed.
Finnly in your bulid you dont get shadow to lvl 10 which doesnt do much damage so u only need 1 lvl for slow and then stats up

I would say 70% of the time when i use akasha... i kill at lv3.
I get poison for 1st skill, blink for second skill, and then scream of pain.
starting item : 2 x circlet, 2 x ironwood, the rest are tangos.
concentrate on harrass (with normal attacks), then levelling.
get ur enemy to stay around yellow life (within that 1v1-3), which most people will be doubtful that it's between danger and "safety zone".
then i will usually blink in to approach him, scream of pain, then whack whack whack. if he runs, use shadow strike. you should get the kill....
when i play akasha i run around lanes to support the kills. I don't concentrate on levelling :)

when i play akasha i run around lanes to support the kills. I don't concentrate on levelling :)
anyway it's just my way of playing that i find it kinda effective.... have fun :)
Blade Mail and Dagon are a waste of money with Akasha. Aghanim's scepter, SangeYasha, and Monkey King Bar are the best for her.
your strat is such a garbage, i just can't think your using akasha in such a horrible way.. get aghanim's for stronger ult,higher hp/mana and deso for the ultimate harrasment.. no need for BoT, such a waste of gold. aghanim's and linkin will do ur hp problem..

sorry but i agree to gravenalone and the others by the time i reach lvl7 i atleast have 5 kills. use lvl shadow strike at 2 n 3 and i rarely use scream. agahims is needed blademail is not because akasha rather fight on range thats why u have blink
leveling dagon many time would also be a waste
i dunno about skadi but i read from the other strat forum that frost will be waste since u have shadow strike.

powerthreads
radiance
helm of dominator or if farm enough satanic
butterfly
vanguard
linken sphere!
that's it i already owned the game..
just dont get closer to your enemy let the radiance damage them den if there's the oppurtunity blink shadow blink scream blink shadow then sonic! hahaha... your a bunch of losers! why eul? why dagon? its just a waste of cash!
